I am 54. I play 15-20 hrs a week. Glad to see there are a few 60+ players out there, so I won't feel quite so old.

Thanks everyone! I was expecting 99% flame and hoping I would get at least one actual answer. Instead, I got no flames and a handful of good solid responses. I KNEW there were good folk somewhere in these forums! I will try these suggestions out tonight.

Stop closing every freakin thread! I read one, and i spend time responding, and when I hit submit, it is already closed... You are even closing lefgit threads! BW, save some money by getting rid of some moderators. You could then spend some of the savings on addin' stuff and fixin' bugs.

The moderators keep closing everyones threads. I know some need to be closed.. But you guys seem to be closing almost every one! This is NOT off-topic. The forum is related to the game. Some hate the game, and tell everyone why. Some like the game (like ME), and like to tell the rest of the world as well. I like the game, will resub, but you guys (moderators) are on a power trip. I know... thread closed. I feel a forum ban coming my way. Oh well, it will allow me more time to play SWTOR, which I like very much! I'd be playing now if I was at home.

1) "Fanfoi (or Fanboy)" - If you like the game for whatever reason, and plan on resubbing, you will be labeled a fanboi... and I am not sure why that is such a bad thing. I personnally don't take it as an insult. 2) "Troll" - If you hate the game for whatever reason, or list any complaints, legitimate or otherwise, you will be labeled a troll. >>>>>> So in otherwords, anyone who posts will either be a fanboi or a troll. You take your pick. 3) "this game is still in beta" - aren't most online games usually in some form of change, fixes, updates, testing, etc? Or at least they should be. Any online game that isn't fixing things or adding things won't last very long. 4) "BioWare owes me a free month" - you got one when you bought the game. Are you one of those "Occupiers" that think everything should be given to them? 5) "Fix 'xyz' or I quit" - makes you sound like a spoiled little impatient brat, IMO. 6) "not like WoW" - I don't want ANY game to be just like Wow, except WoW. If you want it to be more like Wow, why not just go play WoW? 7) "too much like WoW" - which is it? Is it # 6 or #7? 8) "gamebreaking bug" - really? You can't play the game AT ALL? Or is it just parts of it that don't work for you? Not being able to change your legacy name keeps you from playing the game at all? Hmmmmm. 9) "FAIL" - any post that doesn't meet certain elitists' expectations is a fail. I am sure this post is one of those. Also, any company that doesn't release a PERFECT game... --- P E R F E C T --- game is a FAIL to some. 10) "99.999999% hate this game" (or some other made-up percentage) - where did you pull that statistic from... your butt? 11) "this game will fail in 'X' number of days/months" - seems we have alot of Notradamasses (or is it Notradami?) in the forums. 12) "this game will be FTP in 'x' number of days/months" - see #11 13) "this is a single player game, not an MMO" - If you see just ONE real person in the various locations while you play, then it is NOT a single player game. A Single-player video game is a video game where input from only one player is expected throughout the course of the gaming session. This is not the case with SWTOR, so please get your facts straight. 14) "wall of text" - why this post won't list overused terms #16-154 15) "in before the lock" - where I am sure this post is headed, since there is NO "off-topic" catagory.

Many, if not most, of the people on these forums, expect perfection. They will ALWAYS be disappointed, as there is no such thing (except Jesus, but that is a different topic). Expecting perfection in anything man-made is unreasonable. I am so thankful that I learned this at a young age. I am able to enjoy things even tho they aren't perfect. That "other game" is far from perfect even after 8 years, so how in the world do people expect this one to be after only a month? It must be horrible to never be able to enjoy things that aren't perfect... But since many in these forums think they ARE perfect, I guess they can keep complaining that this game ( or ANY game) isn't up to their expectations. I am glad I bought the game, and will resub. My prediction: I will be flamed, and this thread will be closed. That's OK, I am a man, and can take it.

they are supposed to be hard to find and /or get too. I love looking for them and spending hours trying to get to them. seems some people just want an Easy Button for everything. Where is the challenge in that? Give me more of these, BioWare. I enjoy them!
