  1. Ive been raiding/pvping since the release as a healing sorc and just recently (after the patch of doom) switched over to a Operative. It should be said that my Operative aint as well geared as my Sorc for obvious reasons. But soo far i must say that the ONLY thing i miss on my Op is the revivification (big purple aoe heal anyone?), Aside from that everything else is better on the Operative during raids i dont run out of energy, in pvp i can overload my cloaking shield to get away from annoying melee. And while i think the differences are small (skillwise) from healing class to healing class there are some advantages that they all bring to the table.
  2. I did read it. ahhh, why bother. please go troll someone else /shoo
  3. The lore behind it ties the mandalorians fairly tight to the Empire, The reson for it is that Bountyhunters wanted to hunt "harder" prey soo the empire granted them bounties on Jedi wich according to the lore was/is the hardest prey to catch/kill. I know this couldve been applied to Sith aswell as jedis but yea...Lore.
  4. And that would make it a Jedi shadow with a job..... Im not trying to troll you guys, but shouldnt a "new" class be...you know...new?
  5. Yea, i really hope they do something about the killingblow gimick, I really dont want to click anymore boxes, its probably THE most booring way to implement a daily quest. Im playing a Sorc healer valor 47 (Not hybrid) with more or less full Champion set (using rakata pieces for belt and bracers). Im well aware of how "smash" works and know how to avoid it..well atlest most of the time It just seemed to me that Sith warriors were doing A LOT more dmg then they used to and no im not talking about the 7k smashes, one 7k smash doesnt even come close to taking me down even if you add the the buildup dmg from the abilities they need to actually land a smash. I used to have problems with assassins/shadows but as of yesterday they cant hold a candle to the damned warriors. Im asking if someone else noticed this aswell or if its only in my head and i just had a REALLY poor pvp experience yesterday.
  6. Agreed, and i am a healer. Worst even yet is that something mustve gone REALLY ****IN wrong with the patch How the hell can you (Bioware) promote a playstyle where two healers cant out heal one dps. The entire day has been a *********** slaughter fest, one sith warrior can absolutly demolish ANY other person.
  7. Im a PvE player at heart. But i wouldnt begrudge my pvp friends a crack at atleast beeing viable in raids with theire pvp gear. Im pretty sure a lot of the pvpers think the same way about pve players. And to top it of since theres already a pretty long jump from pve geared players and BM geared players in pvp it would make sense to eiter exchange expertise with just the regular stats or lessen teh impact of expertise in pvp but make it retain its usefulness in a pve senario. A remake to let expertise work like mastery in wow or something along those lines perhaps or just a flat amount of power at a 1:1 ratio?
  8. It should since you werent using your systems "proper" soundcard before but the usb one in your headset. This is a more general thing, USB devices dont have ANY hardware acceleration at all, all the sound is processed thru the drivers that run on your processor, this is usually the reason why a USB device is a bad idea when playing games. Soo if you want hardware accelerated sound (Ever wondered why most internal soundcards sounds better?) use a internal soundcard.
  9. What i did: Do enough pvp while leveling up soo you have your first Champion bag and youve capped your merc and regular pvp badges soo you can buy another 5 bags. Farm the bejesus out of the easier hardmodes until you get better gear to be able to handle the harder ones. Keep on pvping while you gear up in hardmodes and replace your pvp items as you get better items in the FPs. It took me a week to kit out my healing sorc this way, And with kit-out i mean outgearing normal mode raids. Screw the Ilum/Belsavis dailies. Yes, i know theres no other way to get the rakata implants/ear piece but considering the time invested to get them i dont think its worth it, the bore factor on these quests are super high and it takes effin forever to get them done.
  10. Its like wow in that if you want to be really good youll need two different sets of gear. I hope noone will shoot me down but my current take on the stats are that Alacrity is good for you as a healer due to longer casttimes on heals and your channeled healing ability. For all other specs (and classes too i think) crit/surge will serve you better. This is ofc in a PvE setting, if your asking how to gear in pvp id probably guess that crit/surge will do slightly better for you as a healer.
  11. Hahaha, After ive been trolled to hell and back on my sorc healer i always logg onto my Sniper ALT and shoot ppl in the face to lessen my frustration abit
  12. I would say Healer on both counts........errr, well if i were to discount the stooopid Hybrid madness spec that all dps sorcs seems to favour in pvp. Its not that Sorc healers are OP (the way discopriests used to be in arenas) but inbetween throwing shields on everyone and theire mothers, using the grip and beeing fairly decent at throwing heals while stationary it just feels like Sorc healers work really well in either environment. I play as a Sorc healer and i spent a lot of time on all healers in wow, the closest semblence i can find is DiscPriest/Paladin. Paladin might not be entierly obvious but considering the way judgement used to work with mana regen it hits pretty close to the way force regen works on a sorc.
  13. Hahaha, Your only OP aslong as your unknown on the server. As soon as you start getting gear or doing well, the oposing team will "home in on you" and grief you to no end. I am by no means the best healer out there but i think im doing well, im far from BM but got afew pieces of Champion gear. What i can say tho is that for most of the matches im in i usually heal for twice as much as the second "best" healer, and yea....its a pain, i know a few of the people i get pitted against (republic scum) and to be told that "Yea, we usually go for you since your to dangerous to leave alive." while it is flattering it also makes the pvp game a tad bit booring at times. But on the other hand ive become fairly adapt at "Running back"
  14. As a healing corruption sorc, I have no force problem, that said ofcourse i run out of force is i spam infusion like a tool. But if you balance your healing and try to use every consumption proc you get (and you should get plenty if you geared your char correctly) you should constantly be inbetween 80-100% except as i mentioned before when you have to go crazy on infusions.
