    Binary chat bubbles are bad: on or off. Proper chat bubbles should have checkbox options like: Local only, guild only, whispers only, companions only, etc. That being said, chat bubbles help if you're in a crowded zone and you're trying to chat with someone near you. Basically instead of all chat in one place (chat box), you can see what a person is saying by looking at them.

    Let me put it this way: I love chat bubbles, I want to see them implemented, but the default for them should be OFF.

    Have they even confirmed that they're doing this? They don't often give ETAs due to the fact people forget that it's estimated and they treat it as a deadline.

    Here's a double combo: Mute companion + Companion chat bubble. The companion can talk all he wants, but it's only in a chat bubble, limiting aural spam. I'm looking at you C2-N2.
