  1. Please close this threat before ppl actually start believing that roots should respect the resolve bar. All of you people saying that roots should respect resolve are completely biased in your opinion and probably play melee classes. Roots do not make you lose complete control of your character, you can still fight, cast, shoot, melee while rooted you just cant move. Losing complete control would be a hard stun, knock back, or a Force Pull/Grapple. Do not even know why this thread exists other than to troll to be honest. Bioware already said that Resolve and Roots are working as intended. All of the mess ups Bioware has made to this game, Root ignoring resolve is NOT one of them. 100% Against This Idea Btw.
  2. Hmmm 3/5 Video. -1 for Graphics -1 for What everyone else said.
  3. I'm an avid PvP'er and atm I feel there is really no customization for the armor I want to wear. And by customization I am referring to the Enhancements, Mods, and Armoring. When I am upgrading from Battlemaster to War Hero gear, I lose some stats that I personally didnt want to lose and gain some stats that I didnt want to gain. And the only way for me to get those stats back is to buy a whole new piece of Battlemaster gear. And I i did that I feel like I am downgrading on the modification's level. I would want an Enhancement with the stats I want in a War Hero equivalent version. Could it be possible for us to get PvP Mod, Enhancement, and Armoring vendors with different selections of mods for us to exchange out for a small cost?
  4. that's cute, try n make it sound like your class isnt in need of a nerf. Bro Sages and Sorcs tried to make the same argument when ppl were complaining about our hybrid dps and healing, and now both dps and healing was nerfed for us. Anyways, dont be posting your thoughts on here brah, you is only gonna get your class more noticed on these boards and eventually cause the nerf yourself.
  5. hmmm wel thanks for clearing that up.
  6. Is there a talent in the Juggernaut or Marauder tree that allows them to force choke then move to attack you while you are still being choked. Im not tryin to troll, its an honest question. I've had this happen to me a couple time already and dont know if its a bug or somethin else. although it doesnt happen often, but there are times when i am being choked and i see him stop his animation for choke and start swingin his light saber and im still stuck in the air.
  7. It is working, well for my server anyways. Whenever my resolve bar is full, I am immune to Stuns, Knockback and Saps. like it was intended to do. Snares and roots do not fill the resolve bar and do not respect the resolve bar mechanic. A full resolve bar isnt supposed to stop snares/roots
  8. You sir got out played... I see your side of the story, but I also see that In the time that you were snared you didnt pass the ball. And if there was no one to pass to, then your entire team got outplayed...becuase if you literally had the ball for 20 seconds of snare time at thier goal line and not a single of your teammates had the brains to go across the line so you can pass it to them, the other team deserved to kill you lol.
  9. Well I must be the only lucky person to get my resolve bar working. I hate to say it, "Fraps or it didnt happen" but seriously...fraps this phenomenon that so many ppl are complaining about so those of us who dont have it can see it for ourselves.
  10. I play a sage, I dont feel underpowered at all. I dont know what spec you are running with but I've tried em all and did well with them. Sure I dont get the massive 4k - 5k crits that the others get, but somehow I still come out on top on the damage charts. Im full BM as well and I hit ppl for more than 3k on a constant basis with my TK spec. I took the AOE talents in the Seer tree to boost the TK Wave dmg by 10%, huge difference. Try it. If i get my instant TK wave proc, I combine it with my Turbulence cast, 3k from Turbulence + 3k from TK Wave = 6k in one shot, its not one skill but the dmg comes in almost instantly. makes ppl crap themselves when they see that 6k chunk missin. And Balance is always gonna be more lower burst dmg, but higher uptime cuz of your dots n stuff.
  11. I really dont know what you guys are complaining about. I play on a regular server and the resolve bar is working fine, when its full I am completely immune to all CC with the exception of snares, and the same goes for my opponents if their resolve bar is full. The resolve bar is filled when you are stunned, knocked back, or sapped. Snares do not fill it and do not respect the full resolve bar mechanic. Maybe you ppl are just going against teams that got smart and started to spam their snares instead of stuns on their opponents. I know I use snares all the time, and i find it funny when ppl waste their CC Breaker to get out of it. I'm sure by now the player base has picked up the concept of using snares over stuns and therefore you guys are seeing this happen.
  12. The OP obviously has never played a Sage/Sorc to know that the bubble they get is next to useless. I dont know if he is talking about pre-50 pvp, maybe at that level i can see how it might be overpowered, but in 50 Pvp its virtually not there... Against any mixed champ/cent geared player...the bubble will absorb 2-3 attacks...thats it. BM, it would absorb an opener... and i dont know where you are gettin that it absorbed 6k dmg but thats complete and utter BS... the bubble is based on the base health of the sage/sorc its 15% untalented and 35% talented meaning, the sage would have to have near over 17k health unbuffed to get a 6k dmg absorb bubble. I dont know about you but as a full BM sage myself I only have 16.4 with the tropper/bh buff...
  13. I agree with the OP. Something does need to be done about the current PvP Daily and Weekly System. Although my server is Imperial heavy, I am content with the Warzone Daily/Weekly. I play Republic and currently fine with the W:L Ratio I experience. Republic on my server usually win about 75% of the games we play, especially Huttball. What I do hate is the damn Ilum daily/weekly. Being Imperial heavy, Ilum is constantly controlled by the Imperials. Republic usually takes the zone for maybe an hour at a time before we get steamrolled by shear numbers of Imperials so eventually people just stop going and wait for their friends or guilds to get on before they even attempt to a go at the Ilum daily. Which in turn makes the number of Republic players on Ilum and a constant low. Where the Imperials will have 3 full ops groups, the Republic will have maybe 1 and another partially full. My Suggestion: Make the Daily/Weekly a Valor gain. Maybe X Amount of Valor for Daily and 3X Amount of Valor for weekly. *with Dailies and Weeklies for Warzones and Ilum Valor Gains. X Amount of Valor earned in Warzones and X Amount of Valor earned in Ilum. In theory it should make players want to join Warzones and stay to complete them since you get your valor at the end of a warzone anyway. It should also encourage players to actually try since you get more Valor for winning. It should also make people want to participate in the Ilum dailies and encourage pvp over the box farming that usually takes place. It will make taking the Bases and N/S Assaults actually mean something for your Daily/Weekly vs just taking central so you can farm your boxes. just my idea. approve, reject, criticize as you see fit.
  14. Problem: Right Turret (Republic Viewpoint)-[imperials Left Turret] Whenever this turret is captured by the Imperials, it always fires twice or faster than the opposite side. There have been too many times where the Republic will capture the Middle or Left Turret (Republic Viewpoint) first or at the same time as the Right Turret and the Republic Ship's HP will be lower by an extra 5 points. Its usually not a game breaker because we all know the Republic rocks at Alderaan, just sayin it would be nice for [poop] to be even ya know? Fix it. Don't make me tell you twice. We all know what happens when [gardening tool]s need to be told twice.
