I think that both the genre and the players have changed a bit. There will always be people who want to conform the genre to their own tastes though, and simply not realize that it's not necessarily profitable for game developers.

Just ran into this bug yesterday on Hard mode taral V after killing the final boss. It is a result from wiping after completing the quest that allows entrance into the flashpoint, but still having not looted the boss yet and no way to rez..

Guild ran through this yesterday and we were unable to loot the chest after killing the 4 imperials. I did read somewhere that you have to tank the last guy right next to the chest.. but this is only a workaround. We submitted as a bug so hopefully they will address it.
