  1. Doesn't it have a cooldown? Still not ideal if so, but not as bad as never getting a tick.
  2. It works on live, always has and still does. They'd have to completely change the way she regains health for it to not work. Without Trauma she heals to 63%, with Trauma she only heals to 60%.
  3. I went through my past logs and of the 9 Huge Grenades I found (that's 63 total hits), 6 hits came up as a "miss" and there was never more than a single miss per Huge Grenade. Of those 9 huge grenades 5 were under the effect of Focused Defense (36.32% defence chance) while 2 of them were under the effect of Deflection and Focused Defense (86.32% defence chance). Here's the 2nd Deflection + Focused Defense: While I know these number are possible, they just seem really damn improbable.
  4. I know for a fact this never used to be possble, and this BioWare post backs that up (ranged/melee attacks cannot be shrouded). In HM Huge Grenade is simple, it's a tech attack (which only hits once) and thus it can be resisted (most often by Force Shroud, but also occasionally by Blade Barricade or Premonition) but cannot be shielded, parried, dodged or miss. For NiM BioWare made Huge Grenade a ranged/melee attack and split the damage across 7 hits; it was no longer shroudable, but was easier to manage in all other respects because it could be shielded and defended against. This greatly lowered spike damage (especially if you used a cooldown like Saber Ward or Deflection). Now it just seems to be acting very strangely: Under the above defensive effects I have 86.32% defense chance... Thoughts?
  5. This makes no sense. Before the changes Assassins/Shadows had to channel the full duration of buffed Force Lightning/Telekinetic Throw as often as possible to maintain maximum mitigation, since the changes they just have to land one tick every 12 seconds. That's infinitely more mobile and very non-turret like.
  6. I can no longer interact with my "Medical Droid (Imperial)" who before today's patch was a vendor but I can still interact with "Bartender" who wasn't, and still isn't, a vendor of any kind. Doesn't make much sense.

  9. What makes you say it's a Republic strike team? I mean there's undoubtedly a Commando present, and more than likely a Guardian, but from the other two, one looks like a Chiss Bounty Hunter and the other could (but probably not) be an Operative rather than a Vanguard. Just me holding out for cross-faction grouping in the new content.
  10. I've found that banning someone from my guild flagship causes it to vanish instantly without fail. When you eventually get the flagship back using the method mentioned above only the last person you banned shows on the list.

  13. This makes no sense. How are you pulling 800-1.1k more TPS than DPS and what has it got to do with Death Field? Granted, Death Field and DOTs will give you some healing threat, but nowhere near that amount, and with threat drop... I can only imagine you're running in tank stance and/or using taunt to get that much more TPS than DPS.

  15. I'm not sure why you'd let anyone but tanks (or anyone at all with a Shadow/Assassin tank) take stacks at the start of that phase. Even in NiM it's easy for the tank to be positioned at the entrance/exit portal and the rest of the raid the opposite side behind the boss when she spawns. I taunt, pull, shroud and use 3 stacks recklessness force lightning. I then have max stacks of dark protection while having received no debuff or damage at all. I continue my hybrid rotation, sprinkle in an AoE taunt, pop blackout in time for it cover the next arcing assault and then swap. This sees shroud come off cooldown in time for me to take the final orb going into the transition and have recklessness back in time to use on the first droid.

  17. I've seen talk recently of tanks using adrenals in their opener. I understand the theory (I also remember KeyboardNinja tearing into somebody quite some time ago for their usage of a surge adrenal in their Assassin opener) but am wondering on the specifics. Power, surge or accuracy; when's the best time to use one, and are there any fights where it's a definite no go due to the loss of a defensive cooldown? Mostly interested in Assassin, but info for other classes wouldn't be unwelcome.
  18. I've recently been working with the timer function, something I found very useful with Tor Assistant, but I'm missing the text to voice function that the timers within that programme offered; is there any chance you could do the same with Parsec?
