These threads always get nitpicked. His point is valid. Travel is needlessly complicated, unless all you're doing is questing happily on a planet.
But if you want to go pick up the pvp daily, help a guildie, join a guild flashpoint run, get something out of the bank (and I've wanted to do all of those things within one evening. Haven't you?) ... all these things take a lot of time.
PLUS, don't forget, if you go somewhere you have to do it all again to get back. Those fleet passes are a one way ticket.
I doubt many want the instant-everywhere that WoW became. But I know I'd sure like something in between that and the cumbersome travel we have here.
(And to the person who said it takes 15 mins for a boat in WoW ... gross exaggeration.)
