You also have to consider the fact that most MMO launches (This is just to my knowledge) had done a single date so i'm sure a lot of the people from RIFT, Aion, AoC, DCU ect are very disappointed when they found out (assuming they either did not understand/read the UP TO) they couldn't play the same day as everyone else.

No matter what you do w/ a launch like this it will always end up that the people in will complain about the people complaining about being not in and vise versa... Personally i prefer the classic mmo launch even though it is very flawed.
