Still got the lag here hours later. I repaired the game, redownloaded it, when that failed I went to my brothers house to check it there and hes having the same issue. Luckly I work for my ISP and check that too, even better is my brother uses a different ISP.

My wife and I are having unbearable lag spikes, can't play the game Edit: Tested my internet, streaming is working, no lag spikes. The only thing thats going wrong is Swtor's lag, but it doesnt effect my other systems. Seems to be server based issue.

This looks like a lot of fun, I enjoy achievement systems, they give a little more to do. It seems though some people can't be pleased with anything though. Either way I am very excited and looking forward to earning some achievements

Reading your post made me remember all the promises they made and how sad I was when I unsubbed in May because of the lack of content. I do hope for something now that I came back but nearly a year in, I guess we have Makeb to look forward too but then after that whats the next release I wonder? I suppose no use in dwelling on it.. I think Im going to try to forget that promised anything in the http://www.swtor.com/blog/what%E2%80%99s-next-old-republic, that way I won't become depressed reading through it knowing it most likely won't ever happen. It's like enjoying the older final fantasy games before they turned completely into action games and that RPG element died.

How amusing, while its true you fought HK-47 after his 300 year guarding of the foundry at level 35. He is HK-47, he is obsolete compared to the 51 unit, he has been guarding the foundry by controlling the droids, he even admits that he hasn't been able to do his "job" for a long time. This would make him rusty since he had no updates as a droid would have to keep their skills fresh and effective. How is this hard to consider or do you want a run down on how this works or do you too need a easy mode? Also the foundry did not have the HK-51 units, did you even read http://www.swtor.com/info/news/blog/20121102? Please read this and reconsider your question.

Let's think about this for a minute. Its a nearly impossible task to find this droid and recover it. (in-lore) and very hard and annoying to get him in-game. He's a killer who thinks anyone organic is a target expect the lucky person who controls him (it's master). Why can't you use him in lower levels? Why because your character is too weak to, at 50 your character who destroy the forces that were guarding the HK unit is more than a match to control this crazy droid. I can't imagine a level 25, 30 or 35 character looking for this droid and surviving, plus for those people who are still leveling, getting the HK is additional content. I believe you can unlock him in your legacy where the quest is a lot easier to do with another character. Again for a level 50, yes this isn't much content yet, but when I roll my smuggler I want him to earn this droid, so by the time he is at 50 and has gone through all this crap and lived, he wants to find himself a powerful HK unit to watch his back. When it comes to content, yes the pre-50 has decent content, I only remember a handful of moments where I enjoyed the planet's storyline and my own class storyline but end-game content like Ilum, black hole daily's, and the Belsavis daily's give a great opportunity to wreck chaos with HK-51. Plus I want to earn this bad boy, I don't it handed to every one of my toons at a early level, that doesn't work with your other companions, why would it work this time? Bioware has a lot on their plate and they're trying to make us happy, take it for what it is and try to enjoy, with a view like your you'll find faults within everything and ruin the entertainment value of it before you had the chance to enjoy it.

Wow! I loved your thinking on how Quinn would do this, it also makes perfect sense. It seemed way too odd that Quinn would betray you, even more after all that you do for him. I remember when that battle started I destroyed the droids and him very easily. So easily in fact I was more angry his betrayal wasn't more of a challenge. The way you put it makes perfect sense, it gives me a renewed respect for Quinn as I believe from leaving Belmorra to leaving Voss he is one of the most loyalist companions you have.

Thank you for all the reply's! I'll look more in depth at each guild that was listed. It's hard to leave some 50's behind but it's an mmo and it gives me a chance to enjoy some new characters. My friends and I hopefully will enjoy Ebon Hawk and make this our home for the years to come, though I will take the advise and level a toon and look for a guild in game as well. Hello Ebon Hawk, I've been looking for strong community of people to play with. Back on my old server grand master zym, now shadowlands. I have a lot of maxed out toons but they aren't fun to play without any friends I remember I was playing on a trial account before picking this game up again after a 3 month break and saw some people RPing on Korriban on the Empire side here on this sever, it made me want to rp also. After a few weeks I too thought maybe a fun community or RP community could make this MMO more fun to play. How is the role play community here on Ebon Hawk for Republic and Empire? How are the people here? Are there guilds here accepting rerollers? I ask this because it's hard to leave behind my toons on my old server and my girlfriend and younger brother want to play again but meet people and enjoy the game with others, that what made this game so amazing in the beginning. Thank you for taking the time to read through this and respond, may the force be with you.

This guide is amazing, this must of taken you awhile to find all these posts. As a commando this helped a lot me greatly and I can't wait to try out some of the tips and tricks in pvp now, thank you.
