Just as a thought, how about a new customisation layer in the character sheet for body tattoos? Or perhaps adding body tattoos into the character creation or something like that. I have a Ratataki Sith Assassin and wear the relaxed jumpsuit stuff on her. Tattoos showing on the visible skin would totally rock, and I'm guessing many of the players with Zabrak characters would agree.

im not rushing through anything. in fact, im taking my time. im not trying to hit level cap in record time either, it was a mere observation. dont pick fault at me for making an observation. i agree, a LFG channel/tool would really help, and yes, i probably should do stuff with a guild. chatting on general chat, to my understanding, does not involve arguing, raging, and calling each other "immature wow players" and "stupid f*****g morons" and othe such things. chatting normally implied a friendly atmosphere, not a hostile one. i guess if thats what you guys consider normal, ill just avoid the imperial fleet and any flashpoints as much as i possibly can, because id rather log into my game to play the game, not sit and rage at noobs asking questions, or watch elitist prats voice their "expert" opinion on what everyone should do with any and every aspect of the game.

firstly, lol. you have a pretty good point there. but no, not annoyed at people behaving like idiots. i have a child, and have to tolerate that regularly. but when trying to do group missions, and i cant get a group together cause the idiots have hijacked the general channel to the point of people closing it for the duration? that annoys me.

1st and foremost. its too easy to level imperial characters. i have a jedi shadow, sith sorcerer and a BH Mercenary. i was finished both imperial starting planets, and second planets in less time than my jedi took to finish tython. dunno if thats cause the tython map is huge in comparison to hutta and korriban or what, but it does present a serious imbalance 2nd, and this by far is annoying me the most. general channel on the imperial fleet. why is it everytime i go to do a flashpoint, i dont get the chance to look for a group because there is a group of 2 dozen immature morons insulting each other and raising holy hell? ive managed 2 flashpoints on my sith sorcerer, and the rest ive given up, because the continual flamewars that are going on are seriously irritating me. i havent seen half of the same problem on the republic fleet, so why does it seem that all the a******es have chosen imperial characters? thats not to say that all imperial characters have a******es behind their keyboards, but it certainly appears that way. especially on the luka sene server. is it like this on other servers as well, or am i just the unfortunate git who chose the wrong server?

as i understand it, mace windu, being the senoir council member, was the better swordsman. yodas power was understanding the force, and teaching others. yoda was wise, windu was powerful. anakin was stronger than obi wan, even while he was a padawan, but his arrogance, inexperience and impatience lost him the fight with obi wan. luke is actually the one of the greatest of the jedi, cause he did what neither obi wan or yoda could do. he brought vader back to the light, which is the true sign of a jedi. at least thats my opinion from what ive seen and read

i was on my sith last night, and theres a misison on balmorra where you have to get power cores from the little circular things on the ground (cant remember what mission). you right click on it, it opens, and you get attacked by resistance people, then right click on it again to collect the core. except, this. i right clicked, i fought off the enemies, and when i went back, someone had slipped in and taken it from right under my nose. with no effort on their part. now, i wouldnt particularly mind, except its not a one of those "find 4 of the many in this circle on your map", its a "find these exact 4". so i had to wait for the respawn (which was only 5 mins, but still) then go through the whole thing again. surely, if a mission is this restrictive, the initial right click on the item in world should bind it so that only you can click it the second time, or just place an abundant amount of the devices in a certain area so that you can move onto another one without having to wait for a cooldown. im not gonna whinge about being theived off by this lazy git, cause thatll get me nowhere at all, but at least make the mission managable without having to wait for respawns on specific in-world mission items. thoughts?

lets not forget, darth bane was around 1000 years before the films. old republic is like 3000 years before the films. the only reference to the rule of 2 that exists in the game universe will be revans holocron, which is still hidden. just thought id add my feedback there

ok, so at first i just had a jedi shadow. i levelled to 50, and ive done most of my story missions and stuff. havent fully kitted out yet, but im getting there. anyway, along the way ive been focusing (as many probably have) on light side points. but, ive also picked up a few nice dark side items which i clearly cant use. a couple of days ago, i created a sith sorcerer and began the imperial storyline as well, and i am focusing on dark side points. this is when i discovered that i cant send mail cross faction. is this deliberate, or an oversight? when im on any MMO i often tend to have multiple characters, and when i get equipment and stuff that i cant use, i tend to send it over to my other characters, or i craft stuff that would give them an earlier edge and send that on. but here i cant. point is, am i one of a small minority that does this, or is this "no cross-faction messages/friendships" thing affecting others as well? if this has been mentioned before, im sorry for repeating others

your suggesting that the ones who were disappointed and are leaving are the only true fans? all because bioware lied? newsflash dude, big companies like this lie to you all the time. release dates, game content, advertisements, the free cookie in the box, whatever. if you dont like it, fine. if you have a problem with it, by all means, post as such, just dont judge everone else for not having your standards or not agreeing with your opinions, and dont determine who is a "true" fan based on who is doing what you are doing or not. A long time star wars fan.

i for one will not be going "back" to WoW. i was never there to begin with (yes, an MMO player who never played WoW), so i can honestly say ill be staying put for a long time. the only other P2P MMO experience ive had was STO, and this is a far better experience already. i have played a lot of F2P MMO's, but im quite happy where i am. i agree with what was said previously. play what and how you want, it doesnt matter if its popular or not, just that you enjoy it

i do see your point, and agree with you to a certain degree. the point i was making was that you cant expect the statement "EGA of up to 5 days" to mean definately getting in early, and if not, compensation is expected. i wouldnt have considered it a troll anyway. i value the opinions of others, and welcome a good debate. im with you there though, im still not in either lol.

firstly, lol at booba fett. bludletter, that was awesome secondly, EGA is not something thats guaranteed for anyone, as has been mentioned several times on this forum. and honestly, that doesnt bother me that much. i can wait til the 20th if i have to. i can see the point of those who have preordered god knows how long ago, and are still waiting, while others who ordered like 2 weeks ago or whatever are in now. honestly, you guys i sympathise your situation. i only preordered in oct just gone, and im not expecting to get in before the 16/17th at the earliest, though it doesnt seem like the EGA emails are going out in any real order. that doesnt particularly fuss me either. finally, all that will happen to those who have gained their EGA is theyll see the remaining bugs first(of which, im sure there are still many), be in a position to help those who are currently still waiting, and *god forbid* reach level cap first if they play for every waking moment. let me put it to you this way. if a non MMO game was being released, like a PS3 game or something, and you were delayed playing it because your local games droid... er, shop ran out of copies, would you demand compensation from the developing company because too many people bought the game? answers no. cause youd get your derriere handed to you on a plate with a side order. cant remember who said this, and im not trawling through the thread again to find it, but as was stated, this game has been in development for like 4 years or so, a few more days wont kill you. see the rest of you in game when i get in
