  1. Tell me your outcome...I really hope this isn't just me!
  2. Thanks, I really hope your wrong!
  3. When Are you going to fix the problem with selling off hand light sabers on the GTN???? I keep getting this stupid error message E.G. "you cannot sell Hawkeye Ruusan Outcast Flex Offhand lightsaber" . Please fix this problem or state a reason as to why these sabers cannot be sold on the GTN!!! Oh and yes I have sent this problem to the Bug Forum on several occasions!!!
  4. Excellent suggestions. I referred to the PvP gear vendors only as an example, with it you have an hour to change your mind. With buying items on the GTN I certainly wouldn't suggest an entire hour to wait for items, 5 minutes hell even 3 minutes would be plenty of time to see a serious mistake had been made. Also the pop up to ask if your sure about your purchase can be helpful. With that said we're all just human and sometimes we still make mistakes. I feel it would just be nice to have another layer of protection, an extra few minutes to make sure it isn't a significantly costly mistake. As for me...its a mistake Ill never make again, I can assure you. However this exploit continues to catch some unawares. So I'm thinking of other players who find themselves in that situation, just another few minutes to see the mistake was made, and enable them to quickly fix it.
  5. Like I said it would be a way to protect protect the consumer, and in all likely hood if you have a problem with a simple fix like this, your probably just one of the exploiters!! Oh and whats insane about giving the buyer the opportunity to change their mind about a purchase?
  6. I am so angry right now that I am physically shaking. Although I have to say the reason for this anger is almost entirely my fault. Why am I so pissed? Well my stupidity cost me 7 million credits. How did I lose all those credits you ask? I'm quite sure most everyone is familiar with a scheme that takes place on the GTN. Basically what happens is a price is put in for an item, and at first glance it looks like a really decent price for that item. However for someone who is really tired, or not entirely with it, a costly mistake can be made. The next thing you know the item that looked like it was selling for 800ish credits each was actually being sold for 800 Thousand credits each. I used to think to myself ,what idiot gets suckered into that gaping black hole?? So I'm not here to whine, or garner anyone's sympathy, especially when most would agree that I'm the one who painted myself in the corner. "Tough ***** said the kitty when the milk went dry". I am here post a suggestion to prevent these thieves from getting the better of future victims. Obviously this little scheme continues, because it works and it runs rampant throughout the GTN. My suggestion is, I believe, fairly simple and straight forward and is actually implemented already at some vendor locations E.G. the PvP gear vendors. When someone buys a piece of PvP gear, the buyer is given 1 hour to return the item back to the vendor before it is bound to the player. When they started doing this I can only assume that players were quite happy; oops that's NOT the the piece I meant to buy. Before the 1 hour return option, that was just too bad, you bought it your stuck with it. So hopefully your following me here. There should be <X> amount of time given after a transaction is made on the GTN in which the buyer is allowed to terminate the purchase. It shouldn't be that big a deal to implement, since the seller has to wait for an hour anyway to receive those credits. I can't imagine that anyone would be upset with a new option like this, unless they were just trying to get over on other players. It's just one more way to protect the community. I got burned, and I'm sure there are plenty of others who have as well, or else it wouldn't be going on. Please take this suggestion to heart in order to protect the rest of the community from these thieving exploiters.

    WZ Heals

Or the lack thereof. Something seriously needs to be fixed in regards to PuG group WZ's. Straight to the point; there is a huge imbalance where heals are concerned. It happens at least 75% of the time...and that's being kind. One group has plenty of healers while the other group has 1 maybe 2...and in some cases NONE. This gives a big advantage to the other team. Something needs to be done about this, like Ques that will not pop unless there are at least 2 healers or more on either side. Playing PuGs with this disadvantage is just NOT fun. Its a game, it should be fun, and fair. Maybe this topic has been brought up before, I don't know....but please let us know that this issue will be, at the very least, looked at, and hopefully fixed!!
  10. I would greatly appreciate any input on choosing which style to play. What are the Pro's and the Cons of each. I know its usually a matter of play style, but then I'm also looking to broaden my horizons instead of playing in the usual manner, which is mostly a ranged DPS or Heals. I've never been a fan of fighting up close and personal. I actually wouldn't mind a style where I can do a little of both somewhat like a Operative. Anyway I would greatky appreciate some input and ideas, so I can make a choice. Thank you all in advance
  11. I love your outlook on the situation. It is possible to have that kind of attitude sometimes, however maintaining that perspective is what becomes the the real problem. You go in with a positve tude...but 6 games later after facing the same or similarly geared groups with the mudstomping thing; tends to fog over those positive thoughts with morbid rapidity.
  12. There are some class issues...but there is an OBVIOUS difference when fighting against a team who is superiorly equipped. Playing a comparabley geared team can be fun, and bit of a challenge, but with an outcome where either side can win or lose!
  13. And I suppose there has to be an idiot like you...who knows nothing abouth me, but opens his Big !@#$%* anyway and spews crap everywhere. It's ok...I think we can clean up troll dung easy enough in here.
  14. No I'm not talking about class balance...for the most part thats ok. Gear balance however is another issue entirely. Games are supposed to be fun right? Least I thought it was supposed to be. Its not fun though in the PvP environment. Peolpe in lowbie PvP gear going against people in Hero and elite hero...NOT FUN! Now people are gonna say...well yea..but its easy to grind and get your stuff upgraded ( well it for sure is a grind, but sure as hell NOT easy!). It might be a little better than before to gear up...but it still takes a good while to get to the good stuff. It's a tedious grind when your going out and getting a mudhole stomped in your head. It would be nice for people leveling thier gear up to have bracket with other players in comparable equipment. That way its fun for everyone...not just for the people shredding every1 else. Yes in some case's it might be about skill and knowing your role; but most of the time its just about the guy who has the huge gear advantage. Make a level 50 bracket for people trying to better stuff, and make a bracket where 50's who have for the most part attained thier stuff...to go up against others of comparable equipment.

    Why the Huge Gap!?

What gap?...well the huge gap that exists between players who are in elite hero gear and the ones in blues or low purples?? Why is it that Bioware hasn't created another bracket for players in elite gear to play against others of similar gear and allow the people who are trying to get better equipped to do so without getting SMEARED all over the floor, fighting against other players that they can't even dent. I mean when you hit some1 with a skill that normally does fairly decent damage....but barely tickles another player...something is wrong. I think its bad enough that Bioware didnt create brackets for leveling up, say what you want about the health and damage being balanced, but when it comes down to it...the guy that has more skills to play with is gonna have an advantage. Its down right stupid the way it's set up in the 50's bracket when your playing against an obviously superiorly geared team, all any1 does in those cases is sit and defend a node with the whole team. Games are supposed to be fun, not frustrating, and challenging not impossible. Maybe thats a big part of the reason they can't seem to keep the kind of population they had in the begining...and frankly I think it comes right down to just being too lazy to care enough to do something about the problem or just not caring at all.
