  1. They added three asterisks to that one post, and I have been insulting you for like a half a dozen. You agree with the OP that an element of the game be removed. I argue this is so that your brain has one less thing to think about. You can hulk-smash 2 bads and be a heroic Luke Skywalker, but you can't cap a point because of a friggin' DoT and you QQ. Teamwork more.
  2. Maybe it will get taken down, who noessss.... Please quote some of my actual arguments so you can argue against them. Also leave out any of gems/direct insults to your intelligence.
  3. Probably not, and this back and forth is getting a little ***.
  4. No I said that all damage interrupts the progress of taking an objective. I noticed you didn't quote me, so I will. All a DoT does is buy time in your scenario. Also I am pretty sure DoTs are working as intended. Unless you are a developer stirring the pot then you shouldn't talk of the games "basic fundamentals" because it makes you sound very stupid.
  5. This is the second time I have /signed a thread about this.
  6. Wait wait, my DoTs can defend nodes for me? What spec is that?
  7. This is invalid because all damage interrupts the progress of taking an objective. Try suggesting that any damage should just slow down the capping process. I'll argue against that, too.
  8. NONONONONONONONO That is way too much uncontrollable resolve for someone who PVPs to win.
  9. Removing a tactical element from a game makes the game less dynamic. Claiming this is a "broken mechanic" is just QQ. Feed me your tears while I beat you in warzones because my healers dispel.
  10. My team successfully "turtle-ing" the ball with 90 seconds on the clock is called strategy. Calling it a technical issue is wrong, and makes me think that you're just mad.
  11. Answer: 20% damage reduction! I find myself fairly active in Warzones when it comes to objectives, and this means I will probably die a lot. Fill my resolve bar in Huttball and watch out because I am probably going to pop every cooldown and carry for as long as I can hoping for a friendly to hand off to. I am going to get in your face with DoTs and AoE to keep you from capping my point on Alderaan, or bombing my door on Voidstar. All of this means I am probably going to die a lot. If you are QQ'ing about a Sorc/Sage who you couldn't kill because they popped a cooldown, then bubbled, and force sped away, then you are bad. You should realize that said Sorc/Sage is no longer helping their team (which I HOPE is your goal). If you want to cry about the survivability/utility of a Sorc in a purely combat situation then you should sit tight and wait until some sort of arena is introduced. All we have now is instanced, objective-based PVP. Sorc/Sage is the easiest class to kill OR scare off. Both should be acceptable options. But if you want to chase me all around the map while my other 7 teammates are scoring and capping, go ahead...
  12. This would make it less dynamic, and is a horrible idea.
  13. If you answered either 1 or 4, congratulations: you are retarded.

    Expertise System

/nonsense The barrier to entry for PVP gear is now so low that the expertise difference between a fresh 50 with Centurion gear, and a long-time geared with mostly Champ and some Battlemaster gear (probably an accurate representation of most valor 60+'s), is minimal. If you aren't well on your way to having full Centurion and partial Champion PVP gear within a few hours of being 50 then you are doing it wrong.
  15. If you have trouble taking down a class with 20% damage reduction: you are doing it wrong. Also there is a correlation between people who whine about CC and people who couldn't understand the mechanic if it slapped them in the face.
  16. This would nearly defeat the point of having different classes altogether, and is a horrible idea.
  17. First of all, QQ. If your broken amount of DPS and unreasonable stun/knockdown are being nerfed, they're being nerfed. I still will have fun stabbing people with my (currently level 22) Operative. I can't currently 2-3-4 shot someone in a Warzone, but I can still kill them. Managing my mezz, my stun, and the opponents resolve I can always do a lot of damage. I can also run circles around any class, melee or ranged when they are not stunned. When they run away, OH LOOK I HAVE AN ASSAULT RIFLE TO USE TOO. Killing someone in a few seconds is OP nonsense for a class that isn't even 100% melee. Free advice: be less of an independent ops weapon and learn to help your team who probably hates you for whining about your solo kills and impending lack thereof.
