I may be in the minority, but I enjoy the space missions and look forward to pushing my Thunderclap to the limit! The Impossible Sector was getting far too possible anyway...

The trooper story really started out well with Act 1. The ending of Ord Mantell really surprised me, and I was intrigued to go through the other planets to reveal more of the conspiracy. Acts 2 and 3 were much weaker and more conventional in my opinion. Overall, though, I enjoyed the military "Band of Brothers" feel of the storyline. And the mission where you get 4X is pure gold!

Yeah it was pretty weird logging in after 1.2 and seeing the Jaxo quest pop up...had to tell that I'm Elara's b**** now...

I have an unhealthy obsession with Band of Brothers, so I tried Winters first on my Vanguard but, finding that some villainous scum had already taken that name, I went with Spiers.

Ralph McQuarrie, the visual mastermind behind almost everything we see in any Star Wars movie or game, has become one with the Force. Amazing how some of the most popular film characters and scenes got their start in his head, including images from Battlestar Galactica, ET and Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Everyone do yourself a favor and fire up a Google image search of this guy. Absolutely amazing. RIP Ralph McQuarrie

A couple songs have made it into my playlist: Iron Maiden - "Die With Your Boots On" And oh yeah, allow me to be about the 500th person on the thread to recommend "The Trooper" for the official theme song. Surely Iron Maiden was inspired by our class for that one...
