i seriously doubt they will allow character transfers between accounts as it would make the sale of said characters easier. Yes I understand that is not what you are planning to do but their are others who would. Unfortunately the few suffer for the many. um i am an inqis sorce healer speced and i use whirlwind alot in the WZs.

you do not get chained CC by one person so I am guessing you were up against 2-3+ people at once as anyoen one person should not be able to keep you stunned til you are dead. unless you were low on health to start with. Any damage breaks most of the CCs not including stuns. What is nice about the pvp here is they did not try to artifically balance the classes. Each class are a strong suit and a weakness in pvp. The trick is to learn them and develope tactics that go with them. I play a healing inqis and do well in the wz and garner quite a few mvp votes each round. Do i sometimes get cut out from the heard or chained stunn til i am dead. Yes but that is my fault for getting cut out of the heard.

tat is my fav example of what BW did right. The zone really does feel like Tat from the first movie and i mean the first one not the 4th . Yes there are more NPCs than people but they are actually doing things and you can hear interesting conversations if you listen to them. The desert does seems like a desert and it is nice that i am not constantly bumping into people out in the sea just like I would not see people there either if it were real.

I find your complaint about tank companions very odd. I play healer spec Inqis she loves having Khem as her tank and she can solo heroics with out any trouble. He is great at holdign agro on multiple targets. Constantly pulls mobs off of her even when she is standign off at range distance. She has used Khen to tank in FP up to boarding party. However, she does keep him nicely geared. She is able to heal him and through in spot dps. She is now lvl 47 and still using him as her tank. Yes he does stand in aoe but then i just hit passive to pull him back then attack to send him right in again all is well.

well OP lets look at this: Inquis get a tank as ther first pet considering how they are mostly healers, range dps or melee dps this works well. BH who can take a hit get a healer/range dps companion Warriors who can also take a hit well get a pure range dps companion IA get a range tank which works wel with their mostly dps spec Consulars get a melee tank which works well their dps or healing builds Troopers who are tanks or melee dps get a range dpser Jedi get a ranged tank smugglers get a ranged tank It seems like the classes get a first companion that works well with most of their early builds. All classes get a full healer companion once their get thier ship. Yes the much maligned ships droid. He really is a nice pure healer. As you progress and gain more companions you gain greater flexibility in the roles you companions can fill just as you yourself gain great power. If you want to be a healer merc BH that is fine mako works well with that for the early lvls as she can dps and help heal you if you are takign to much damage. Once you get your second main companion a range dpser you can reverse the rolls and you heal him while adding spot dps. Your third companion is melee dps and can work well as a tank if you are their to heal him. As you can see the system works well. Is the first companion always the prefect companion for all the builds no. They work better with some builds than others but they are servicible for all your classes builds and the fights you are likely to run into early in your life.

Wasn't that before they gave us different companions though.

why whenever i check server pops during their prime time i never seen any below standard.

well the whole idea of modding they use is to allow you customized looks. I know I am in my 40's and still wear a set i received in my teens i just keep modding it up.

Actually, it is because they want the game community to be whole. They want info on builds and such to not be confined to a server's forum but to be more readily available to everyone in the game. Now will the way they have implementation work only time will tell. However, you can not fault them for trying it.

well unlike WoW you can pretty much dual anywhere in this game as you will not argo the guards. People constanly dual in the Fleets

yup thats the problem once dps meters come the poor play style of the pro dps people, who think that dps is the one and only way to win a fight, would come out.

the problem with your suggested time period is that 6 am pst -12 pm pst ( I assume you meant 12 pm not 12 am since it would then go from 6 am to midnight) works out to 2 pm to 8 pm for the UK and even latter the further east you go in Europe. Since both the EU and NA servers share the same login servers the time they have to be brought down and patched at the same time.

why should there even be neutral gear. Part of the whole L/D is to make you choices matter

the already have a customizable UI in the works which we have seen in the devs blog about things to come. The have a combat log commign as they have announced is in testing. We do not need things liek DBM since the bosses here shout before a command or warning etc before they do something special. So i fail to see why we would need any addons.

obviously you missed my point. This game uses the high rez in their ads. Alot of games use CGI in their ads. So i fail to see what his complaint is beyond the fact he wants to complain.

except for the fact the OP is askign for somestuff that is already in game such as housing ( your ships) or already announced as beign implimented ( a revamped LFG). The fact he raced through the game. lvl 50 is designed to take 200 hours which would mean playign 7 hours a day aprox yet he did it in half the time

why do some games use movie quality CGI in their comercials

This game has some of the fastest travel times in an MMO. You can get pretty much from one end of the game to another in 15 minutes. I do not know of any other major MMO's where you can do this. Here in this game they make it feel like you are traveling great distances going from planet to planet even though you are doing it in a relatively fast.

the easy solution is to make it so if you go afk you are right back where you entered from. Solves the problem.

you just put them on ignore and let your guildies know about the guy. Had an assain role need on medium armor chest when he was asked about it he said assasins wear medium armor he latter rolled on a light chest when it was pointed out he claimed he worse medium he enver responded group finish the FP and all put him on their dng list. Now you see him asking for groups and never getting any. Funny how that works

only if you leave out all the MMO's with better combat from Rift to POTBS

i have never had an important issue that i filed a ticket on that a gm did not get back to me within minutes. Less important issues yes it could take a day or two.
