If you are taking your time to get to 50, removing the valor from the people now won't help you at all. They'll still re gain the gear before you get to 50.. Should the reset come once you hit 50? What about for the people that join the game 6 months from now? Should Valor be reset every time someone new signs up?

You're over looking one point. You're only required to use that companion for the conversations. After the convo is over, normally the fight starts not giving you a chance to switch companions. But after you rez, you can pull out the companion you normally use, then do the fight they way you like. Dismiss, bring back out the required companion for the follow up conversation.

Well, since I was going to talk about some UI issues I thought could use improving, and most have been covered here. I'll just tag along and add me piece to it. As a Healer, It's kinda a pain having to look in 3 different locations of the screen for the people/companions I need to heal. I need to watch the action bar for my health, bottom left corner for my companion. Middle left for party members, tiny bar under party member health bar for their companion. Raid frames are OK, but not customizable enough, and don't work at all if you have to worry about a party members companion.

They'll never make a UI that makes everyone happy. They need to stop *********** around with it, and start writing the API to allow modders to satisfy everyone.

It glitched to this generic message 2 or 3 days into Early access as well. It was fixed. I would expect it to go back to normal after the next downtime.

You may be a rare stay at home dad/mom but most people go to work during the day time. That's why it's the least populated times on the servers. Absolutely. Official polls also show most people work during the day.

Before noon is morning and dead. 4 hour maintenance days it'll be over before that for you. 8 hour days will push it closer to when people get done with work/school. If they split the time for regions they'll end up moving the US times not EU. Less people play in the morning then over night. You all got the better end of the deal.

I see more people on over night then I see during the morning hours.

Join a guild. Many use VOIP programs while running premades.

Ya, RNG is a *****. I don't buy the boxes very often, but I can tell you my Underworld Trading missions always bring me back synthweaving patterns that are for empire classes. I'm Republic and have armormech.

Reroll empire. That's where they are all hiding.

We can move maintenance to US day time hours. That's what it is in WoW. Early morning, to noon-ish. It's worked fine for years. But that will put EU downtime during the actual prime time for EU.

I search on the GTN all the time already.. While it isn't the best possible design, it still functions. So you need to narrow down what you are looking for using 2 drop downs. Then search. Then filter for the specific item(s) you are looking for.

I have also seen guilds that don't allow Blood Elves, Death Knights, etc. Guilds are there for groups of like minded players to form a social group. Some may require you to use a certain addon, some may require you to speak german, what ever restriction they put upon their membership is their business. No matter what your choice is you will find a guild that fits you. If you can't find one that fits you, you can make a guild, then it's guaranteed to match your wishes. And as others have pointed out. Other players running around like headless chickens after a patch, is their problem not yours.

While I'm disappointed in a private only combat log. If it is a true log (log file on pc) it will just evolve into parsers that can link the group together.

30-40 are a bit harder, keep at it, use the time to learn tactics. Once you get to Hoth the difficulty backs it down a few notches again.
