  1. Oh, I know what mission you're talking about, I did it back when I was on Hoth. Maybe I'll farm it in my spare time now that I'm 50 and check the GTN for it as well, thanks. I agree with the medium armor thing and about how heavy armor users look good but lack variety. Still, I'd rather look good and lack variety then look meh and lack variety like us Shadows do now. My Nadia right now is just wearing some green thing, but ultimately, she might get my hand-me-downs- or my second favorite outfits that I'll save for DPS. I'm actually working on a variation of the Dancer's outfit with red leather Pilot pants, Ulgo red headband, Ulgo gloves and the dancer's top with the Ulgo black boots which I might wear if I can ever figure out why my dancer's top is bugging. My husband's Kira is also wearing a Dancer's top and pants, and it doesn't clip so much if ever that I've seen, so maybe that's an option for you.
  2. I loved it until we got 2-3 space missions per level bracket that were exactly the same as the previous one, cept harder. But it's still an enjoyable way to make money for me...Cept Hydian Blockade and the Impossible Sector, which are way too long, but I digress... This is what I thought, but wasn't sure. Thanks! Will practice with it.
  3. I had no idea where to post this, but I was hoping my fellow Shadows/Consulars might be kind enough to help me. On my Mirialan Shadow, the top is showing up as pink and low-res/uncolored while logged in, and the proper red on the log-in screen, as shown below. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b372/Hikari_Kyouyama/1-4.jpg Is there anyway I can fix this? I feel like there is something I'm missing here :S EDIT- And now I discover that it also turns red in conversations, which furthers my thought that it's a problem with the low-res sets.
  4. When I think about it, Telekinetic Throw is kinda stupid right now. Consular: "I SHALL ASSAULT YOU WITH MY PEBBLES!" Enemy: "OH NOES! MY FAYCE HURTS!" When Project is hurtling a huge object at them. Not sure if I like his animation, but the current one doesn't really make sense, even if it looks nice. I understand we need to use the Force in a non-lethal, non-painful way (since attacking with the Force would make us Sith), and a piece of the environment makes sense, but dunno about the animations either. We've actually seen our Consulars do some pretty cool tricks with the Force in class cutscenes that I found myself wishing I could do in-game.
  5. That looks like the Aspiring Knight's Vest, or at least it shares a model with it. Regardless, it's medium armor
  6. Funny, I'm trying to learn too... It seems you have to hold them and wait until the target thing turns red and then let go. I am not very good with getting them to go and I'm still trying to figure out if you can use them on everything. Sometimes the target sort of hones in for me but then they don't release.
  7. Yeah I was reading his complaint like what??? Didn't someone JUST a page ago says they will be able to be EXACTLY equal. Anyway, great news since I just hit 50 and love mixing and matching custom gear to look unique.
  8. Wow. I once remember some quote from Kira about how Empire have way better fashion designers. It's obviously true.
  9. Well, I just hit 50 the other night and I wanted a new look while I gear-up. I wasn't planning on wearing PvP gear but unsure... So you can't take mods out of lvl 50 PvE gear? D: D: Please say it ain't so! EDIT- Seems from patch 1.2 onward you can. Here is the look I had until level 50. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b372/Hikari_Kyouyama/elegantfront2.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b372/Hikari_Kyouyama/elegantback1.jpg I'm not saying anyone else is going to like it, but I really liked how unique it was so I kept it from about 35-50. I still like it, but my character is 50 and now ready for a big change, so something either sexier or more shadowy. The only robes I had ever really liked until now were the Noble Consular Robes, but they still weren't perfect. I've seen some really great stuff in this thread, but I have way too many tabs open, so I hope I can follow up some leads...I really dig the armor showed in an earlier post, http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v45/tmichc/SWTOR/Screenshot_2012-02-10_05_21_40_733417.jpg though not sure how to get it or exactly what it's called... http://i.imgur.com/909Aj.jpg looks much the same but with a robe look, which is cool, but I prefer pants on the whole. http://oi43.tinypic.com/67i6o9.jpg Looks very nice too, but not dark enough for me. Very nice but still not dark enough for me as I like either black or white for my Mirialan's skin tone. I really like the back though, looks very Jedi Knight/Guardianish. This is EXACTLY my thoughts. I love the midriff baring look, but I feel like I'm freakin' naked in my top...which is apparently buggy because it's pink but when I log out it's red, which is really pissing me off... I'd pay millions of credits for this: http://i.imgur.com/yL75n.jpg too bad it didn't truly make it out of beta...I have confidence they'll make better gear choices for us in the future but it doesn't help now. I'm so jealous of my husband's (Jedi Guardian) gear. Everytime I see something that looks awesome or is black, 99% of the time it's some sort of Jedi Guardian. Sigh. I remember some quote in the Jedi Guardian storyline from Kira saying how all the good fashion designers have apparently gone over to the Empire. It's obviously true.
  10. Well, I know he/Knights never actually received a title for that part of the storyline but I was wondering if the one I linked is currently in-game as something anyone can attain or if it was maybe a forgotten one for Knights that never made it into the game. I thought it could have been intended for Knights because of that storyline.
  11. Sorry to drag up an old thread, but I just finished my story last night and was surprised to receive Mender of the Rift instead of something like "Of the Jedi Council" which seems more appropriate. I also found on the title on Torhead "<name>, Council Military Advisor" and wondered if it was an equivalent forgotten Jedi Knight one possibly, since my husband plays a Jedi Knight and said they become Supreme Commander of the Jedi or some such stuff. http://www.torhead.com/title/63/council-military-advisor
  12. They'll probably eventually invent a way to change it or at least put more safeguards in. In WoW they said "never" to dual spec, and see how easy it is to change now? I'm completely frustrated because I rolled an alt Smuggler TO be a healer, then realized I completely hated Scoundrel as soon as I really got a feel for it. Hated it so much in fact, that I gave up wanting to be a healer because there was no way I was going to level as a a DPS scoundrel. I'm going to end up deleting and rerolling probably, but it frustrated me to no end because not only did I find out I couldn't stand being the advanced class I wanted to be, but there was no going back and now I was going to have to find the time to do it all over again. I just wish they'd let you test out the playstyle for a few levels before cementing your choice for the rest of the game or at least like a true tutorial video on how it plays. And 1-10 doesn't take 2 hours. In WoW, yes. Here, at least for me, it took about 5-7 hours I think. I did it little by little since this was an alt over the course of days. It might take me 3 or less if I'm lucky and rush through it this time. Still, it was a total waste of my time and that's just frustrating. /endwhine
  13. Thanks! Surprised this is put together so quickly also...then again, not so much. People like you are amazing. I am only lvl 26 but I figure the basics will be easier to pick up if I start early. Also, you should update the link to the talent calculator on your original post that you linked, as it had been revamped as of 11/22 so it says it may not be accurate. @FairlyRattled- Try the link from this thread, it has 41 pts.
