It depends on your skill compared to the item. The higher skill the higher chance. I think max. chance is around 20%, lowest is around 1%. Lesson: dont RE high level items compared to your skill level

You have some valid points here. I was a beta tester in WoW and also played it for 6 years and i was a beta tester in SWTOR and am now playing it. I think SWTOR handled its launch very well. But now SWTOR has to prove that they can keep up the good work and fix those bugs and imbalances. esp. the OP's point 2+3+4 are very valid and healing should recieve a minor buff (esp. those with cast time)

1) I dont feel its a single player game, since i always group with my friend, but maybe we feel differently because of that. 2) I agree with all these bugs, would be nice to have fixed. 3) Completely agree! 4) Agree. Also healing (im a healer!) is quite underpowered in PvP. I can hardly outheal 1 dps, no chance vs. 2 (and its normally 2vs2 or something like that, guess who they focus fire on -> the healer). So 2 dps vs 1 dps+1healer is sure win for the dps'ers.

This is a themepark MMO, not a sandbox, so no i dont agree that Alderaan is great.

Im a healing specced sage. I get rejuvenation, our first healing ability from the healing tree, and it heals a total of 400 hp over 9 seconds (i have 3440 hp at level 20, so just over 10%). Our normal heal (the 2.5 sec cast one) heals 600 hp at my level. Shouldnt a HoT heal more then the direct heal? I feel very underwhelmed by the "power" of rejuvenation. Anyone else equally dissapointed? Yes i do know it leads to a talent that improves out other heals, but still...

Bloodworthy: Joined queue at 16:50 CET, 1502 infront of me. Now it is 21:01 CET and still 30 infront of me. Thats over 4 hours of queue.

How much damage an ability does (the number) has nothing to do with how good it is to use. You also have to take the following into consideration: Cast time / activation time Cooldown Debuffs Animationlength (in swtor it actually matters) and so on. So getting a good rotation just by looking at the flytext is impossible if there is ANY depth to the game. In WoW it was impossible just by going by that. You need to fight 8-10 minutes with a rotation to compare it, so you can see all the side effects and damage distribution between abilities and over time for example with recount.

Something like that on Bloodworthy too. Joined 16:50 CET (queue of 1502), its now 19:50 CET and still 359 in queue infront of me.

They remove it from time to time. Apparently it takes up too many resources.

Both the British, Spanish and Italian community moved to Tomb. The scandinavian moved to Bloodworthy. Thats why those 2 are the most heavy loaded servers. Currently im in queue with 1500+ ahead of me. Sucks, but very hard to do something about unless BW can increase server cap.
