I try to skip most of the trash mobs and skippable bosses also, but while checking if somebody unintentionally/intentionally pulls which prompts me to go back and help. I also try spam the spacebar key during conversations but i do not force others to do the same. In conclusion you can skip every trash/boss/cinematic/conversation you want just don't force others to do the same.

Thank you for clarifying that. I thought that I would be able to trinket out of a Pyrotech's DoT ability. How silly of me .

I have to say that I also got bit by the PvP bug while playing SWTOR. A few years ago when I was still playing WoW (Played until WOTLK), I did not bother doing any BGs or Arena matches. I exclusively played PvE during those times. I did every imaginable weekly and daily quests (RDFHC, ICC10/25, VOA10/25, Must Die Weekly, RS 10/25) religiously. I believe this might be the reason I rarely do any PvE content as I got burned out with grinding Dailies and Weeklies like before. The good thing about getting tired of doing PvE was discovering how enjoyable PvP is even if you're in the losing end. *Edited some typos

While I agree with most of the things you have pointed out, I have to disagree on a few of them. 1. Every DOT that you can apply to your target is worth it, no matter how miniscule it may seem. The additional DOTs from PB, OS and BS are a godsend specially when your target tries to get out of your LOS or try to Force Speed away from you when they have a sliver of health left. 2. You may omit Accuracy from your skill tree as your War Hero or BM gear will provide you with tons of accuracy. 3. In my opinion, I do not like Swelling Winds for Vigilance Spec Guardians. This is because I find FS to be situational and I only use it when I am surrounded by enemies, out of Focus or my rotation abilities are in CD. Generally I like your build as it reminds me of mine . I would also suggest making sure that your target is affected by Freezing Force every time.

If you want something real close to Ven Zallow's armor, go with the Legacy Exalted armor. It requires level 20 legacy and it does not have the shoulder armor like the Battlelord has. http://www.torhead.com/item/dT4brVa/guardians-exalted-body-armor
