  1. I would love to say that my sorc healer is the best...ever. But unfortunately that isn't true because all of the healing classes have near the same potential some have where others lack. All can be great when they are played right...except *cough* mercs *couch* . But in all honesty it really depends on playstyle. I have an operative and a sorc healer that are both 55. And I honestly prefer my sorc in pvp. There are a couple of reason why. For 1. The sorc is honestly better to handle being interrupted. The reasoning behind this is because one of our best heals is a cast...not a channel. The best ones for the operative channel for 2 seconds or so and once is interrupted cuts out a 6k heal. On top of him not sending out his heal he has just wasted 2 valuable seconds. Both have shields and on the operative's end I do like the shield probe since it doesn't get deactivated. It lasts the whole time. But again...my sorc static barrier will heal me for about 300 hp ever second or so that it is on. Of course I have been playing my sorc as a healer for almost longer than I can remember. And I can honestly say that I've gotten to a point of mastering the class. The other problem people usually say about sorcs is they don't last very long. One thing you'll learn about these classes is that it is all in how you play them. If I try to sit through and heal through being focused by 4 dps..I might as well kill myself because over time they will get me through cc's. As a healer you just need to hold on long enough for everyone to realize that they are focusing their life-giver. It's all on timing to use your bubble and exit with a sprint to get 40 meters away before they even realize you did. Of course the operative's ability to pop into stealth is very nice and it is one of my favorite things on my operative healer in pvp. Number wise you can get the same numbers from healing classes if you play them right. The nice thing about my sorc is that with some alacrity he becomes pretty darn spammy...
  2. So any sorc whose had to go 1 on 1 with an Assassin or Operative any time in a pvp match has experienced the douchiness of back stabbing. I'm talking when they pop out of stealth behind you and start the stabby stab treatment. As a sorc with light armor and a force sprint that can be rooted..we usually are forced to sit there and take it and hope someone else intervenes. Especially if you are fighting a geared opponent. I know for a fact that my operative has an opener that can usually near kill them from the opener alone. As a sorc who doesn't have interrupt immunity or a decent knockback anymore like snipers do, we are forced to do the only thing we can to survive. But of course bubbling up and waiting for inevitable death time after time just seems a waste to create a 3 min CD on your barrier and then die. Anyone who has played a sin/operative class knows that you hit with your hardest hitting moves when you are behind your enemy. Usually this poses a problem for any class. Except for turrets. The best technique I've found for fighting a stealth class is holding my right mouse button and spinning to face them so they can't see my back. When you do this they spend more time trying to get around you instead of hitting you. In this time you've hit them with crushing darkness and hopefully a thundering blast to shorten their health. I usually use my sorc as a healer in PvP matches and I've encountered this problem a number of times. And the best solution is just to spin circles to face them so they can't get your back. Even geared dps stealth classes shouldn't be able to kill you due to you crippling one of their hardest hitting moves. It's like fighting a moderate marauder who can't use his ravage. Unless he's good and knows he doesn't have to...his dps goes to hell. I'll record a video of it happening sometime to me as a healer.
  3. Usually if you want to do ranked groups instead of being a solostar you join a PvP guild right??? I'm all up for ranked groups. In fact my guild is looking for some more pvpers to set up a few ranked groups here in the next week or so so we can at least get some good time running grouped rateds. Anyone who is interested...PM me.
  4. Well leveling wise you won't want all of you healing moves keybound since I'm sure you'll be doing a mixture of dps and healing (at least you should or fights take longer). When you hit 55 you'll want to change it up so only healing is really keybound (with the exception of affliction and perhaps shock) so you don't get distracted DPSing instead of healing When you are leveling it almost doesn't matter. I say that carefully since it will at higher levels but with level 39 you don't really have all of the moves yet that you will when you hit 45+. My Sorc is 55 and I will post a screenshot of my quickbar layout later tonight.
  5. Are you planning on clicking the items on the quickbar or do you plan on keybinding them?
  6. If you go with a tank companion I recommend Xalek over Krem. Krem pissed me off with his damn aoe attacks breaking my whirlwind cc. I like using HK simply because he is HK and his Assassinate move one shots any strong level enemy. Just makes clearing out trash faster. He also has nice self-healing moves as well as stuns that he can use. Of course if you are running straight dailies I would recommend going half-dps / half-heals or even full lightning dps. If you go full heals you'll end up getting tired waiting for something to heal. Just depends on how "tough" you determine the boss to be. *Edit: Of course you can turn off Khem's AoE attacks...but that's limiting his abilities where Xalek doesn't need that.
  7. <Masters of the Schwartz> is a new PvE/PvP guild. We are looking to recruit players who like to do both. We will be recruiting for the next week or two to fill in our ranks before we have set raid groups and times. Same goes for PvP with rated groups. We have mumble. We have midgets (treek). We also do guild events as well as PvP groups and raids. Examples are flashpoints for gearing, dailies for $$, and a few fun stuff that we will give more info about later this month. Our current tentative raid schedule will be Wednesday, Thursday - 8:15 PM PST. But we continually run stuff throughout the week. For more information or an invite, feel free to PM me here, reply to the thread, or hit up either Souskarin or Sirrus in game.

  9. The other thing to realize is this: If you were lucky enough to actually sleep with Revan...I'm pretty sure everyone else is a letdown.
  10. It could also depend on if he was legally declared dead... And sorry. I had it in my mind for a second that we were talking about Revan getting a new relationship..not Bastila. My bad
  11. Nah. I read the book by Drew Karpyshyn. In the book it stated that Bastila still didn't believe he was dead that she sort of felt his presence but as if it was a great distance away. And it also shows her with her son having kids and her as a single grandmother. It could be that she stayed married to him because she believed him to still be alive...
