  1. Mercs can do fine in regular warzones, but in rated warzones you'll be shut down pretty often.
  2. I haven't faced that many powertech/healers premades, most premades I see are mara/healers or sent/healers. I know pubs love to roll a bunch of sentinals on Pot5, it got old quick.
  3. No, honestly there is no reason to take a merc/commando to RWZ, a sniper does everything better (minus heal). Nevermind the ~30% heavy armor, merc can't do enough dps to make up for the squishiness but powertech can (more than enough). Merc makes great raid damage dealers and healers in regular warzones.
  4. My PT tank hit 6017 the other day, I was wondering how'd I did that big of a hit. Nope it's not that, I do it all the time on my madness assassin, never seen that.

Sometimes when you get into huttball and the team gets 6 goals in a hurry and hardly anyone surpasses 100K damage... well I was the only one on my team to pass 100K damage (126K) while the assault vanguard on the other team did 550K damage (rest of their team did less than 100K). Holy mother of god, that guy was ripping us apart left and right but we won.
  7. I get medals like crazy on my tank than my dps or healer, I easily get 15-16 medals on tank and I'm lucky to get 10-12 on my healer.

That doesn't get you very far, you'll be lucky to get more than one crit 3500 surgical probe heal while the rest will be 1200-1500, getting a couple off just to bring your health up and then hit recuperative nanotech and cast injection and surgical immediately after works better, but stun the guy to buy time if he's in your face, every oper healer should have slip away in the spec.
  9. Nerf me, and I won't heal anymore. You basically want to eliminate all the healers? You know pvp will suck really bad without healers, right?
  10. Sorc can't cleanse tech stuff, so your hair's still going to be on fire from a PT, and a single TD will consume your bubble.
  11. Same thing happened to me on my healer operative while carrying the ball in huttball, this was pre 1.2 though (when healers were "OP").
  12. TyrellJonez, he used harnessed darkness and whither so I don't think he was a hybrid but I noticed the mauls or assassinates after a spike does increased damage which indicates he might have points into nerve wracking.
  13. As arsenal it's actually pretty hard to overheat, even without set bonuses, I wear the pvp eliminator set no matter what spec I choose.

Yes pretty much the madness style rotation, but I've been maul spamming on marauders that are busy ravaging other teammates, sometimes it's amusing to take their health down fast enough that they don't realize it and then it's too late when they attempt to hit undying rage or such, it's definitely hitting harder than when I was full 31 madness and creeping terror isn't much to miss, but I do miss the increased self heal. I stealth, open with maul on someone, DF, discharge, shock, thrash, maul some more (by this time it procs along with UK and EW) and I've been getting above 4K hits on it.
  15. My slinger suffers similar to that video, it's hard to shrug off damage once you got someone on you. I had an epic slinger vs slinger fight in a pub vs pub warzone a few weeks ago and we both died at exactly the same time, made me chuckle.

I'm personally not a fan of hybrids, I only liked the Carolina Parakeet powertech build pre 1.2 but that was killed off by the devs, and I'm sure devs will kill off the remaining viable hybrids that jugg and assassin has left. But I looked at this spec and ran several warzones with it and even did dailies with it, it seems to synergize with duplicity pretty well. Maul hits like a truck once exploitive strike and unearthed knowledge and exploit weakness are all up (if all goes well maul+assassinate combined for over 9000 damage in 2 globals), I use lightning charge to take advantage of raze and the likes. No my 5700 record hit was against a WH sage in a rated WZ, we had a few marauders in the team so bloodthirst was likely active, plus my unearthed knowledge and exploitive strike and resolve stim. I've run my operative as concealment in a few RWZ's too and it was lame, hidden strike didn't surpass 1700 damage but backstab did 3100, but that was about it, I died quickly nonetheless so my operative is mainly a healer (I wear dps gear for bigger heals), always has been but I've flipped between specs to break the boredom. Your level 16 hits hard in 10-49 because of bolster (it boosts, power, critical, surge and armor ratings) to make up for the lack of talent and higher level abilities. I've passed 350K damage on my powertech when it was in the mid teens (as tank spec!).
  18. Lots of misleading remarks in the OP, on my tank I lose health faster from a pyro more than an operative, an operative I just basically ignore and CC or run away from. You want an already bad assassin/shadow spec to be as bad as operative's concealment? HS doesn't hit that hard anymore, backstab is a bit more reliable and there's no gap closer. What kind of tanks have you been talking to telling you that operative/scoundrel take their health down fast? On my operative when concealment spec, it shines in regular warzones against recruit and partial BM players but against WH players it's not even worth trying.
  19. At 50, they don't have the same damage, my assassinate can hit as hard as 5700. So please, don't take your level 16 and level 42 into consideration.
  20. If you were asking me, I'm still in lightning charge. I never mentioned being in dark charge.

I did about 12 warzones with the Mad Maul spec I posted above, not bad, I do miss creeping terror to keep runners near me or marauders away from me/teammate, but boy maul doing 4200+ after unearthed knowledge is godly, I was beating powertech/vanguards with it, it actually got very close dpswise a couple times but thankfully I have a <30% finisher while PT/VG doesn't, that was my advantage. Even sniper/gunslingers and lolhealers were easy to kill, the only class I had trouble with were tanksins, that spec gives just about every class some trouble.
  22. I'm too tied with madness, I get plenty of nice mauls but I know the mauls would hit harder if I picked up induction, gonna give this spec (Mad Maul?) a try.
  23. I can understand the mass of imps going sniper, facing mass of pubs queuing up with tons of sentinals (not joking).
