  1. Considering your lack of restraint, I hope you are using the term "Hero" in the loosest possible sense.
  2. Lemme try this and get back to you... Thanks for the suggestion, btw. EDIT: Thank you, Varien! Got to love the invisible text box...heh. You may now resume your pointless post.
  3. Okay, I searched diligently for a post to hijack and considering the content, I chose this one. I am about to explain why. Any time I try to make a new post, the title box does not exist. While I can comprise the content, I cannot make a title, thus it won't allow me to post it. Anyone else having that problem? As you can see, it will allow me to post in another thread, just not title my own. Apologies to the OP for the hijack, but did you really expect to accomplish anything with this?
  4. I am right there with you. I could watch them a thousand times, yet it would still seem 'off' if I were to skip them and never get old. Whether that simply implies the majority of people have ADHD these days or I am simply a weird cat, who knows.
  5. Perhaps you would be happier with your CPU at 50% load and a choppy gaming experience? This simply states at how well the game is utilizing the hardware in the system. Really don't understand the point of this post.
  6. No, it doesn't mean it is a bad business. People may simply have not heard about the business. Or perhaps a larger business with more resources and public awareness simply drowned this great business to the point that even going to this business somehow makes you a lesser shopper. Not arguing on this topic one way or the other, but just stating how your logic is failed, not to mention it does inarguably and eerily apply to this situation.
  7. Wait, they took that out? No option, nothing? Just gone? EDIT: is anyone else having a problem creating a new thread? Every time I try to, it goes to the new thread screen, but there is no title box, therefore I can't create a new thread. I know, off-topic, but due to the problem, can't really create one.
  8. Yeah, so not only do they have to deal with the normal skill and attack animations, they want to deal with two versions of each. Can we please get real people? Can't see how this would even come up. Common sense itself answers the question.
  9. This. People wonder why PC gaming has taken a back seat to consoles over the years. Not saying this is the only reason, but it sure played a major role. Most PC gamers are the type to be served a top-notch game on a silver platter, yet complain that the gold trimming should have been platinum.
  10. Okay, how about this? Now, just read through before you criticize. In an effort to make this game more 'unlinear', as that appears to be your number one gripe with it, from what I have read, instead of scaling the mobs, let them scale players! Pretty ingenious, huh? You heard it folks! In order to be more 'unlinear' like Skyrim, Bioware is doing away with the whole leveling process. Now, when Bioware first sat down and tried to come up with a feasible way to create a completely unlinear MMO, they were forced to deal with some obvious caveats. For example, scaleable mobs were out of the question, due to it being a persistent world and everyone experiencing what you were experiencing. You can see the problems with this. They have now decided to do away with the leveling process entirely. In the next major patch, they will be scaling everyone's level and skills based on WHERE they are in the world at the time. Go to Coruscant? Bam, you are now a level 12 - 16 version of your class. Tattooine? You are now level 24 - 28! This will allow them to give everyone that truly 'go everywhere, do anything' feel, yet still keep the consistency of a persistent world. See you all in the next patch, dubbed 'Skyrim revisited in a galaxy far, far away'
  11. So you are saying SWTOR should be more like Skyrim? Scaleable mobs? Yeah, I could see no problems with that in an MMO. Absolutely no instances? Yeah, another thing that would lead to no problems. I could go on and on, but there is no need to as you have sold me. Upon reading your logic, I quietly wonder why Skyrim wasn't an MMO. Huge lack of foresight on the part of the developers. Idiots. (Was that directed at you or them? Hmm. Decide!)
  12. I have been feeiling this for some time now. I am clinging to the hope that Diablo III will change that (assuming it is released before the world ends next year ). If there is any game that can do it, that would be the one.
  13. This. Any game forum you go to is going to be overwhelmed with negativity, even if it is the 'great' (completely subjective, I might add) Modern Warfare games. A 'review' is what separates a professional from a chronic complainer.
  14. Same reason any MMO doesn't have every feature from the get-go. Ever heard of expansions? A certain powerhouse has at least 5 of them that i can think of.
  15. I believe I read somewhere that the Devs said this is a bug and was not intended and is being looked into. As for source, can't really say. Maybe current issues thread or something similiar.
