  1. Kind of. More like the difficulty in all aspects increased suddenly much faster than my characters have. I have tried on my sniper, far past my patience level to try and break through the 26+ slog but I can't do it. I spend everything, money, commendations, to gear up Kaliyo for every armor and End % I can squeeze out, she still dies constantly. I snipe and Ambush a regular trash mob (6 seconds of induction or so) and my two best shots don't always kill a trash mob of equal level? It's night and day, i was having a blast, but Tatooine has been a total unfun, /wrist drag. I suppose I could roll another alt and enjoy things until the lvl 25 nosedive in fun happens, ha!
  2. What an ignorant post. I agree with your list OP, but doubt they can do that much cobstruction so quickly. Took Rift around 8 months to get everything you expect in a modern MMO up and running, I expect Bioware will require the same. Hopefully less since there is so much money behind this game.
  3. In Rift, it took Trion a couple months to sort this out. People rightfully complained about it all the time, while the fanboys as usual claimed everyone needed to L2P. Trion fixed it obviously.
  4. Thanks for the helpful replies. I do keep Kaliyo geared as well as I can, since she is so squishy. I find her awful, she can't dps well, tank well, or CC. I've just gotten used to re-summoning her instead of healing or rezing after many fights that used to be fine. I really feel the IA class got the short end with Kaliyo as a companion, give me a Khem Val on my IA! I never said I did, or want to face roll anything. The difficulty seemed fine to me, I died when i should. The mobs I'm fighting are same level or +1. I'm not new to MMOs or how they work at all. It may be just magnified since most of my guys are in the same area, so they all seem to feel it. Last couple days though the experience has gone from amazing to frustrating as all my characters entered the late 20's.
  5. I'm wondering if anyone else notices this. I have five characters, all but one around 25-28 as I follow the different stories. All my characters have become a chore to play for any amount of time because since lvl 20 or so, the game seems to increase in not only difficulty, but downtime and frustrations exponentially. I play a Sniper, Operative, Powertech, and Sorc. The easier to play is the PT and Sorc, since survivability and CC help a lot. However, even they have become a grind where every trash mob pack has me resting. The Imperial Agent is already saddled with the most useless joke of a companion in the game I've seen, which gimps the class from the get go. Which I hate, since I like my Sniper, despite the myriad of issues there. I've respec'd my Operative several times but I've given up there until it's looked at by Bioware. I'm kind of losing my love of the game because every character seems to be stuck in this slow painful grind. It is just really noticeable because all different characters have hit the wall in the same level range, starting on Alderaan really. Prior to this, I wasn't even noticing the leveling speed or "grind" whatsoever. I didn't die much unless I was careless either, felt right. Then bam! Does it stay this way (if you noticed the same)?
  6. Damn skippy. What a poor showing, having forums go down with the game. It's mind boggling that no one thought of this. Where have these guys been?
  7. Dual spec and a reasonable macro system are definitely required. So many small, but important QoL touches are needed.

    Macros?

The absence of macros greatly decreases my enjoyment of the game. Has nothing to do with PvP or bots or any other crap the anti-macro people lie about. There are simply to many skills. There are more than fit on two hotbars, it's ridiculous, shameful, really. I get physically tired constantly playing piano with a million hotkeys while trying to move, consider cool downs, search 2-3 bars for the ability I need only occasionally. It's cumbersome, and is the strangest way I've seen a studio ruin an otherwise excellent game. Macros, Bioware. Now, not later. Now.
