  1. I would like to see a more variety in class rotation/harder to form at max dps. I don't want a system like WoW's where thats all you do, is to max out dps output. Maybe it is because I came from a rogue to a Sniper but on my Sniper Ipretty much spam snipe , then ambush, with some others in ther but..... It's not fun when you do that. Make the high end skill in the tree more heroic. Like for the Jedi Knight: You jump from target to target in a certain range and do a certain amount of damage( Yoda's style fighting against Doku). You move around in a path while spinning your lightsabers doing x amount of damage for every time you come in contact with an enemy player( General Gerivous fighting Obi Wan Konobi) YOu use the force to send a massive force infront of you pushing and knocking back every enemy in front of you and doing x amount of damage. The dark side of the force strengthens inside you, going into a rage increasing damage by x% and regeneration by x%.( Anakin fighting Doku in the 3rd movie at the beginning.) Mainly with this post I wanted to show how you could make the combat more heroic and more Star Warsie by changing top end skill tree abilities.
  2. Okay, I don't care if it was the worst patch ever or what, but when someone works hours on end for months strait to try to get stuff in the game that they couldn't. (Since EA wanted it to release in December) Don't critisize them!
  3. I know this is a working process, but I would like to see each class have a more indept rotation. Instead of like spamming one ability over and over again. Also atleast some of the end of the tree abilities to be better(plasma probe) I like how yall are fixing it for 1.2, but Im not a big fan of have a aoe ability at that high of a skill. Maybe summon 2 of those floating droids that will fight with you for 20 sec. I would take out some of the stuns for each class- leave some but tone it down abit/ same with aoe. I know yall have been talking about making a pod racing minigame, but I think it would be cool to have it a type of PvP racing! 10 people per game have about a 4 minute course which you go through it twice. (You could have a whole new bracket of pvp, non killing one, that could go with Pazaak, and some other games)(kinda like in Cod where they had a betting type of pvp with sticks and stones and the one bullet game) On Open world PvP, why couldnt you let every class be able to go to every planet, but only be able to fight certain level range.1-10 have to be same lvl to fight. 11-20 Have to be atleast one level from them to fight. 21-30 3 levels apart. 31-40 4 levels apart. 41-49 5 lvls to fight. Levels 48,49, and 50 all can fight each other. I know ranked warzones will add alot of competition to the game, but for me I would like to see arenas.
  4. +10000 I love arenas, but a little to early. If this game can survive for 3 more months with 1.5 million plus people, and stays steady for awhile. I wouldnt mind it when the new story patch comes out(leveling to 60 or 55). The problem with swtor now, say the leveling patch comes out in November(8 months away). That would be really boring only doing ranked warzones for 8 months without any other different pvp. Well I guess there is Open World Pvp, but......
  5. The new set of gear that your adding for new 50s- whats going to stop the new 50s from getting in a 8 man group and getting full war hero without even taking the middle step? Whats going to stop people from spamming pvp and getting war hero gear in the first week? Can there not be a little stat difference for higher ratings, because that will make the elitest happy, and will make the standards something to drive for, making them stay playing PVP longer. Which would make them not get bored for a greater duration. Just to make sure, will the 1000 ranked group be playing with the 1000-1300 ranks? Instead of a 1000 playing against a new group that is 100? Like will there be a weekly amount of coms. you can get?
  6. pve it would be an NPC you would have to kill but there would be several online players going and trying to find and kill it
  7. I think it would be cool to have a bounty system. So you could have a board like in the spacestation or even on some of the major cities. Click on it then go through a video like normal and it would give you this person and some details about him. Also like 4 planets where the person/ creature was last seen. This wouldnt be a personal quest but it would be open to everyone. So like on each server there would only be one bounty at a time, and when you killed him there would be a rare drop. You could make 2 per day, so if people have work or school they could have a chance at atleast one a day. The bounty would span randomly and roam those 4 or 5 planets. Then on 1 day out of the week there could be 1 that day but harder to find and harder to kill. This would add another feature to endgame, and it would make a reason to go back to lower level planets! If you read this and like it try to keep the views up and give it 5 stars so Bioware might see it. Personally I think it is a good idea but I would like to here yalls opinions.
  8. I have to say that I love the planets, they have great scenery, and of course each planet has something special of its own. Although there have been several complaints about the planets being dead, and also they think the worlds are very linear and not much room to explore after doing all the classes.(I have heard about the last one but havent been able to see it since Im not all the way to level cap) This brings me to my question, Do yall plan to maybe implent some changes that differ from the other planets on the new planet coming in 1.2?

  10. Do y'all plan on adding any more minigames or even unique Star Wars PvP games. A Star Wars PvP space combat. A PvP Pod Racing on Tatooine that you could bet on. Arena system (2v2, 3v3, 4v4) Pazzak in cantinas. Maybe making the casinos on Nar Shaddaa more interesting by adding actual things you could bet on or play in there. Maybe adding "Space Combat" but on land. If so could you maybe reveal one or two that we might see down the road.
  11. Vanilla WoW- No battlegrounds, Grind to level, 1 Raid, How many dungeons?, Im guessing no dungeon finder?, 6 or 8 characters, and how many days did it take to level to 60 at that time? My point is how did it survive? Did they shut the servers down for a month at one point?
  12. I think that Bioware needs to have more contact with the players through polls, testing results for patches, and the priority updates. The new weekly ask questions and they will answer them is a good start. Although I think that should have started a long time ago. Also the poll today was good except I think it should sometimes ask what the fans most want or top 5 wants/needs for the fans. Because i think that the next major patch in march will be survive or die for Swtor IMO. Personally I like the game so ill stay after the patch, but for most people it will be the decidig point. Here are Some of the needed fixes really soon. -Flashpoint finder -More options in PvP(Being Able to pick the warzone) Have a good rated PvP system. Good new warzone. arena. NEW BAG SYSTEM. -Keep Improving on the Operations- Just harder/ more machanics to overcome -ILUM FIXED -GOOD UI Maybe set up a new plan on Illum show the community, see what they think then make a great open world pvp.

Well since I just realized that my other post was canceled due to too many questions:( (I wish I could have been notified so I could have taken a picture of my post, and retyped it on general discussion, because of the time I spent doing it but.. I guess not) Well... I guess my question could be .... will y'all ever put any gambling aspect into the game like betting who you think will win a pod race, or which team will win a duel?

So when you capture the objective planets you go to the opposite factions base to capture boss or when you capture all the bases he aoutomaticly goes to like a prison some where where you could battle him? Also whould there be enough people to like make it a decent battle at each base?And say there are 3 planets that you try to control, so do you just have to get 2/3 bases on all 3 planets? Or do you have to capture every single base? Would there be like a space port to take you to each planet(Just like your on hoth click to go to tatooine loading screen and your there). Greaat post 5/5 great work! just wanted to find out on those things. PS. Like the battle on Naboo where there was a huge shield over the gungan army and the droids where invading it.
  15. I have to say that my favorite thing in WoW was arenas, because it shows that I'm getting better. When I first started WoW arena's I would find a group do 1 fight get kicked. But I kept working on rotation and I ended up getting better(was so excited I could actually stay with the same person multiple games). When I play WoW again(just for arenas and that is all) that is all I'll do! To implement in TOR I would be so excited] Have epic battles with jedi and sith. Be able to see if BH are actually Jedi killers. Don't make it the best gear, but even to give multi ways to grind up to the best gear.

    1.2 Patch

    What I expect from the 1.2 patch and more things that I hope come with it that they haven't released yet. UI- They have released that in the 1.2 patch you will be able to scale and move it to your liking,ok, but they don't need to just do a system half way and add to it in a month and a half after in the next major patch. We have a little over a month till the begginning of March. Some things that the community really want is Target-ofTarget( That would make the community really happy). There are alot of other things that would be good like scroll over heals, (not really UI but) dps meters, but the main one is Target-of Target. Open World PvP- Illum.......There are alot of things messesd up right now with it(I'm not going to say what they are because we all know what they are. There are several good ideas out there, but mine is that you make it instanced and timed. Where whoever captures all the bases( when you capture each base everyone in Illum gets a certain amount of valor). You get say 3-4 hours of access to a 2 boss raid. Also during this time rare crystals span randomly around Illum( only available to the winning team). This does several things- 1. It makes the faction imbalance better since only happens every3-4 hours.2. Gives incentives for players to kill/ capture objectives(Still have when you kill someonwe u get valor).3. It draws more attention to Outlaws Den. PVP- I hope that the new warzone adds a cool/different gameplay style. It would be nice for rated warzones with the PvP Rankings. I hope they make some character balances, and fix the ability delay( If not earlier). I hope they add some new Achievements/badges for healers in PvP. One thing that is a must change to PvP is the gear system. The current system isn't good because people get gear by luck. It isn't fair to the Hardcore/pro PvPers(NOt saying I'm one or even close). An unskilled player like me could easily have way better gear than a hardcore player that is way better than me and could have played double the games. There have been good ideas to fix this like one suggestion- you have to complete a certain objective like say 100/500 kills ( the numbers aren't right but to see the point) It's like dailies in warzones, then you get to pick a certain piece of armour. PVE-I don't have much to say about it, but I hope Bioware makes the 2nd part of Rise of the Rackgouls harder than the first. Also on the new operation I hope so much that Bioware makes them harder, not just by Rage timers or Hp, but by adding difficult abilities to overcome, and PHASES,PHASES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Soa was an awesome boss! and it had phases. Phases make it harder and funner! On the puzzle bosses, srry, but the Puzzle boss in the EV was the worst puzzle ever! Although in Karagga's Palace That puzzle boss was awesome! WAY BETTER! Worlds- quick note, keep the awesome scenery, but make them more alive and less linear while questing.
  17. Great idea!!!!!!!!!! Make it hard to get but not insane or easy.( Don't make it where you can get full Purple PVP gear in a week! Also 1 complaint to that fix. Don't make it where you can just pick a random peice. Make like the ear pieces, and the smaller pieces of armor easier to get than like the secondary armour( wrist, boots etc.) Then make the most important pieces of armour like chest, helm, pants, weapons and shoulders have higher requirements.(MAKE THE ARMOUR TAKE LIKE A MONTH TO GET FULL PURPLE PVP GEAR!
  18. Pod racing, the whole 10yards, just like in the movies! Have a big stadium that the track goes through. have a big track that takes 5- 10 minutes to finish. Also where you could bid on races. At the top of the stadium( behing it ) have a new city where there might be a factory where you could by new pods and mods to it, and repair it. Have an anouncer that announced whois winning, who is up next and things. Have the place where you could bet on the next race. Sit option on the stands. To the racing part. You could have sand people shooting at you at various points in the race and other obsticles. You couldn't get onto the track (only if your racing). Several different types of pods( custimizable color and angine, everything.) You could have some kind of animal thing that goes up and down the isles selling food/drinks. Also inside the stadium you could have several tables for I think its called Pozaak where you could play other players. They could add a tatooine flashpoint where you could fight some sand people, idk the bosses. New lvl zones ( the highest lvl at the time) for each planet so you could lvl on you favorite planets. Naboo, could have 50% land and 50% under water. Put the huge city have that under water city. Then add under water mounts. Kashyyk, add wookies as a race. Endor, have a huge forest map, and add the little people that live there. Geonosis. Those are some of the cool later patche possobilities they could make:)

    In my opinion Illum needs to have a reward that gives something that makes players want to get in there and win, so they can get something good. I'm not saying add a whole boss fight as a bonus to winning like WoW, but maybe an experience bonus or something. I think that Illum's Open World PvP would be a blast if you got like a 100 vs. 100 game going. That's why there should be a well rewarding bonus to atract more people to get the flow going. It would be cool to give access to maybe like a secret cave that has special crafting materials, or you could even add a snow monster like the one Luke killed, for a bonus boss for winning. Something I like about Illum is how it feels like a star wars battle. In saying that there are some things that could be fixed to help it. Maybe when the walkers shoot the ground maybe if they hit you it damages you for half your healthbar, and just as a warning add a target on the ground so its not random. Also maybe add more battle aspects around the map. I don't know about this next thing because I'm not sure how it would work, but maybe the walkers move towards the opposing teams base and attack it or something. Maybe add connons on the bases where people could mount them and shoot aproaching walkers and attackers. Although this would come in the far future if ever, and Illum would have to attract alot more people for it to get interesting. I was just thinking what would make Illum very interesting and pretty cool, and feel like a real war.
