The server status on the website is wrong either because bioware is intentionally lying, or theres a bug. If you watch any of the live streams, people go to the server selection and all servers except for maybe 8 of them are low pop, and those 8 are medium.

I hope it doesnt but the regret that EA/bioware will have will blot out the sun to say the least. At least that will give me some sort of satisfaction.

Once bioware fixes the PvP exploit and DOESNT ban/remove the characters of those who participated, cause you know they wont... We get to start on fresh servers that havent been mucked up by that exploit!

The queue were currently in, it has no estimated wait time or anything. Or a queue to a server if they wouldnt have done a staggering launch that might happen if they didnt release enough servers for everyone. I dont wanna hear about that "but the servers would crash all the time harharharhar" because thats what a queue is for, to establish the capacity of the server and not let anyone else in until someone logs off.

EA does this to every developer it publishes for. The real villain is EA. Even though it was biowares choice to choose them.

You dont have to be an expert to realize what you can buy with a lot of money. I think any consumer, especially americans know what money can buy. Just sayin. With the low amount of population they let in, they must not have any confidence whatsoever in their hardware.

How much money did they spend to make this game again? Are we running the servers on 1990 hardware? Shouldnt they be able to support loads more?

East coast should be out of school by now. And arent there a lot more East Coasters than CST and PST in the game? Just going by how many East coast servers there are compared to west coast... anyway

yea but they have game phases or game instances for that reason. my server alone had one instance with 120 people on, and that was in korriban. i dont think any other zone would be more populated than korriban...

So BioWare just packs up and goes home when, and i count, 8 servers are standard population (medium), and the rest are light population (low). I think we could've done a few more waves.

The server status is listed on the server selection screen... have you guys not played the beta before? Doesnt every mmo have their population listed as low/med/high on the server selection screen... have oyu guys not played a MMO before?

There isnt a single FULL server in game, id say 70% are light (low pop) and 30% are standard (medium pop).

just cause of the join date doesnt mean he hasnt waited long. i made an acct the first day these forums were up loooooong ago. then i stopped following for a while and had to make a new account because i forgot all the information on the old one.

how can low population give them 100% win rate?

because 60% of the invites that were sent out earlier were to people who were at school/work. and this evening there will be massive amounts of people logging in.

There are 500 people on a full server. Just to put it in perspective WoWs servers held 3000 people before they made you queue. and that was BEFORE they updated the hardware to make them more stable and increased the cap.

all the good names are now gone to everyone they let in first. and not just to their main char, but the 8 alts they made and are never going to play with the best names ever. welcome to a show that EA runs.
