I think body option 1 for female is the coolest. Male, eh i havent found a male i like yet, body option 2 is too small and doesnt really look "manly" and body option 3 is way too burly for some classes.

Shew that sucks. Being the tank i tend to be picky, no point in wasting an hour of my time when i have to rely on RNG of it to drop THEN on top of that RNG for my roll on the item.

Most likely because dromund kaas can take you to lvl 18-19 easily and the beginning of balmorra makes you hit 20, therefore you're able to quest in nar shaddaa and most of balmorra is unseen, unless you're a completionist

I always see people spamming LF1M tank for <whatever> past lvl 30. It seems like tanks are at a shortage, especially at end game, lots of pugs looking for a tank for their hard modes. Stick with it, you wont regret it.

I know they're making the epic sets FULLY moddable so that we can stick the mods in whatever orange gear we want, but thats a soon kind of thing. And it may be months before that happens. I guess my real question is have any of you found alternatives that are AS viable for tanking?

Well I'm a Jedi Shadow, and I've been tanking heroics almost exclusively and ive nearly finished my pve set.. Except I look like an idiot, Im a male wearing a dress, and a headpiece that the queen of naboo wore. Are there any other consulars out there that can relate? Im about to throw in the towel on tanking, and pve in general, and focus on pvp since their gear looks much better. Would putting my mods from the PVE gear in PVP be viable to tank in?

As far as the 20% dmg reduction and 5% chance to proc. Is that all we see all the way up to 50? Obviously the stats are different.

So far i've seen a guitar get projected, and a carbonite head that was built into a piece of metal. Just curious if thats all or if there are more?

Thats what happens when you roll republic on a pvp server. Learn to census and research your servers BEFORE investing time in them. For best gameplay of course. It took me 3 hours of searching EAST PVE servers with censuses using /who until i found the one that is the best for me: Equal populations, with republic maybe having 5% more players. Lots of hardcore guilds that came over to republic side (i found this by googling and searching these forums). And with an equal population, I can finally be republic and have good warzone queue times and not be dominated by empire.

What server are you on OP? Cause if its full and displaying those populations, that must mean there are A LOT more republic than empire, and thats the server i want to be on. The server im on has 250+ on in the fleet when it is very heavy status.

Just let us pull pull all of them out, and yes give it an armoring slot so that we can pull that one out too, so that we can put it in our favorite looking pieces as promised. Not all of us likes walking around in the best gear looking like crap. If bioware cant make decent looking end game sets, then we need to be able to choose that lvl 20 orange item and make it viable to wear at 50.

Click create character -> splash screen Click change server -> splash screen Get to your ship - > first load screen Go to the fleet and get off your ship -> second load screen Get out of your ships hangar -> third load screen Ride an elevator -> get off elevator and continue playing game, then 5 seconds later a "fake" black splash screen with an elevator sound that serves no purpose whatsoever but to annoy you. Why must 90% of this game be spent loading or looking at that star wars splash screen? Load times arent even bad, its the AMOUNT of load screens and splash screens that break the immersion.

We haven't gotten anything since release. We got patches that said they fixed stuff but really didnt. The game is like 90% complete and super fun even with its bugs. But when i look at 1.1 i see nothing that i look forward to, no bug fixes for the gamebreaking bugs.

Im really looking for any reason to go republic at this point, i want to experience their storylines but its so depressing because i have no good looking gear waiting on me at 50. I feel like i wouldnt "value" it as much as my empire character who has a good looking pvp and pve set waiting for her at 50.

im the same way, 4 lvl 30s, one of each class so far, and im to the point where rerolling is even boring. i hate to say it but i dont think me and tor will go far at all.

i get SO excited when i make a republic character, it feels amazing. then i remember how the end game ill be wearing looks, and instantly get depressed and alt f4.

Knowing every second i spend leveling, that once i hit 50 ill be doomed with the worst looking gear set when compared to its empire equivalent. I dont even have to point out a specific set, they all pretty much fail in comparison.

i was originally empire and figured all the kiddies went republic, but after much retardation on the empire side i said screw it and went republic. the chat over here is much cleaner, people answer questions, people help others, its a real nice community. Much nicer than empire. i did some /who census' on a few servers and actually found one with 1400 republic, and 1430 empire roughly, during prime time. Its quite amazing considering the highest population PVP server in the game is 1600 empire and about 1200ish republic. Ive enjoyed being republic here, we win warzones all the time. Long live the republic!

i did a lot of /who'ing on all the highest pop EST PVE servers, and found the most balanced, and the worst balanced. My favorite server so far has about 5% more empire than republic, that'll make for some good queue times for warzones AND it has more republic than any server i census'd. But why would i tell? I easily spent 2-3 hours finding the best server that yielded the best gameplay.

They arent repeatable. Once you complete the hidden bonus quest then you cant again.

Well being 50 is only relevant because now its alt time! I loaded up that old character screen and kept switching back and forth from body option 1 to 2 as a female, and for the life of me its been 2 hours and cant figure out which i like the best. A petite jedi sage, or a relatively normal looking one. Need suggestions/pics please!

it looks like the point of the thread is that strong enemies do more damage than elite enemies. i dont know how everyone else missed it.

yeah i have no doubt it will be fixed eventually, its not something that should come into play when deciding which you want to be.

well really if you compare the resource cost in the mirrored abilities troopers do get an advantage. because heat is from 0-100 and ammo is from 0-12. so you'd have to put them in common terms, and the abilities also. idk the exact numbers but before i made my character i did that and it showed differences. but bioware is aware of this supposedly.

they're the same except for trooper/bh as stated. in that case trooper gets an edge on their resource system.
