  1. Premades are fun? What exactly is fun rolling over non premades? Why do people enjoy destroying everyone when the other team has zero chance to win? Could you imagine in PVE if you went in to an instance and there were 8 bosses and you 1 shot everything on the first day of release?
  2. I wouldnt mind premades if they faced other premades. There should be a premade queue and a pug queue. Its not rocket science.

  4. LOL *** that just seems like a messed up system. I for 1 played in the rift beta and couldnt stand that game at all so I do not really have any knowledge of whats happening over there. And how do they get to the point of an 8:1 imbalance without doing something? Sounds like a totally mismanaged game to me.
  5. And BW will continue to bleed away subs because of this. BW should not force anyone to play anything. WE play what we think is fun and if we do not like it we can take a stand and stop paying. This is a huge mistake they will realize once they lose their entire PVP base.
  6. 100% agreed. You should be able to queue for what you enjoy. I dont think anyone would question that. I for 1 would never queue voidstar.

  8. Yeah because there is 1 class in this game that has a distinctive advantage over another right? You know why I know for a fact its balanced? Because it seems that ALL CLASSES are being called OP and not just a single 1. People cry about Bounty Hunters, Mara's, Sages and everything else. They cry about the class they can not beat. Bads.
  9. Another bad complaining about x and y class being OP. Nobody in this game is OP. The classes are pretty well balanced. Just because you can not beat x and y class does not make them OP. You people that constantly whine about OP classes need to go back to the other MMO where you may have had a case.
  10. And PUGS feel the same about your premades. Premades should ONLY face other premades. Pugs vs Pugs. Its not hard.
  11. Curious as to why you do not think it would work. As I stated its not perfect and can probably use a lot of tweaking but I think overall it would work with some proper math added in.
  12. So if you are alone at a turret and I get this AFK idle thingy Im supposed to leave my turret and let the enemy team take it with no resistance?
  13. When they give an answer like "changes are coming" but do not tell us what these changes are who can blame people for being less than optimistic? There is a reason I posted this wall of text. There is no information on what changes will be made so I offered something that would work.

  15. Saying something is coming is pretty bland. WHAT is exactly coming? Unless they offer a point system based on my post from above then I doubt it will be any good. And knowing Bioware it will be a half assed lazy fix that only slightly improves what we see now.
  16. Low level Maras and Sents are still the best 1v1 class in the game unless you are talking about level 15's. Anything over level 30 and they are ruthless when played well.
  17. Because we do not need 1. Being at a severe disadvantage in PVP? REALLY? A good Sentinal can kill any other class 1v1. We are the most powerful class 1v1 in the game. I really do not know what else to say. Our class is the hardest class in game to be very good at. I think you just need more practice.
  18. I think I may have the answer for awarding players in WZ's. This may get somewhat complex but this I think if done right would work. Why not implement a point system based on objectives? Let me explain further. Lets say in Hutball I grab the ball right at the start. For grabbing the ball I get 1 point. I then pass to a team mate who gets a completed pass for 1 more point. My team mate also gets 1 point for catching the ball. My ball carrying friend is now getting hit from x player and my healer friend heals him. 1 point for my healing friend. My guardian friend throws a guard on the ball carrier. 1 point for him too. 5 people then zerg the ball carrier and kill him. Each person that kills the ball carrier also get 1 point. Anyone who healed anyone attacking the ball carrier also gets a point. And so on... Now you can even give more than a point at a time for something like capping a ball or killing a ball carrier that is x yards from your goal line. Thats hutball. Voidstar can be something similar. Give points to people who stop doors from being capped, healing and doors capped. Doors capped should give a lot more than 1 point based on how hard it is to cap a door. Healing also would get points based on healing door cappers and for every x amount of healing you do you get points once you hit that number. So if someone gets 20k healing lets say he gets 1 point. Civil War would be capping gets points and killing people trying to cap your turret would in turn get you points. Healing would work same as above as you would get x points per say 20k healing. These numbers are obviously not great and not a lot of thought was put in to them (as Im not an employee of bioware and dont get paid to figure such numbers out) but this is a system if properly thought out would work. This system would not reward people for running around all over the place and doing nothing but killing people. Im sure more can be added to this and stuff that I said could be tweaked somewhat but I think this is a much better system then they are currently offering. Thoughts?

    No draws can be wins or losses. I myself wonder how I get a loss or win. I do like how we are asking this question 2 months after launch though and NOBODY seems to know. And they want to do rated WZ but have not even explained how to win in Voidstar? BioFAIL
  21. ArenaNets 2 lead Dev's were ex Mythic employes. Mythic created DAoC. Their WvW is being done by these 2 Dev's. The whole Arenanet team speaks HUGE of DAoC and are old players as well. There is a reason that the WvWvW system looks like old DAoC.

  23. You make zero sense on why hutball should be removed. By your logic they should remove all WZ's because your side is always short handed.
  24. Think about how boring American football would be if you could select who you wanted to pass to and the pass hits them 100% of the time with no miss throws and no interceptions. Would this be a game you'd be interested to watch?
