Honestly if a sniper knows what he/she is doing they end up salughtering my trooper I mean first they start with that attack that does like 3k damage then sometimes they rush with that annoying little knife that gives me a seizure by the time that wears off their sith friends have usually arrived to finish me. They're not a class that needs any more than they have they just have to know how to use it.

I hated children of the jedi too Hambly jumps around way too much in the plot and really sucks at describing things furthermore It was just predictable overdone and just pretty stupid overall

I feel like in galaxies you were just you being you in the star wars glaxy in TOR (while I love TOR) you feel too much like a scripted charcter you know?

If your looking for old republic books you should check out darth bane trilogy theres also the new Revan novel (I was somehwat dissapointed with it but a good read) There are 2 other old republic novels fatal alliance and decieved haven't read them so idk how they are hope I helped =)

Like I'm not saying I hated the book that much it had its good points like I said but I feel like 2 of the greatest Jedi deserve better than to be killed off in a paragraph It seems they should have gone out with a bang not stab and some lightning you know?

Not to sound like a jerk but I did say that they were mentioned and Revans "fate" was just plain stupid

:So, I recently got the new novel about Revan. It starts out really cool you got revan Bastila canderous. and then it just completely goes downhill. The novel just really ended up bad. If you were gonna buy this for closure to the KOTOR series you may wanna skip it for many reasons: WARNING VERY MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD 1) This book is hardly about Revan The book entitled "Revan" has Revan in about 1/3 of it in fact he's in 10 of the first 60 pages. The majority of the book is about our new villian Darth "scourge". Not to mention the fact that revan spends 1/3 of that time in prison... 2) Where is everyone??? 4 of the many many charcters from the original KOTOR are in the book. None of the others even have a small cameo. Carth, Jolee, Mission, Juhani, and Zaalbar were hardly mentioned HK-47 was mentioned in one line. Bastila only has a few short appearences and for the time shes on she's not the sassy jedi we met on tairs she's practically a housewife. Another dissapointing part is when Canderous suggests to Revan that they get the "gang" back togethor (I got amazingly excited) and then Revan politely declines for no apparent reason....The only insight they give into the charcters are some short one sentence blurbs about some boring stuff they're up too 3) Poor Writing Given I'm no critic but the writing is just kinda lazy I really didn't ahve any good visuals in my head, the fight scenes were a little bland and too wordy I don't know it just seemed a little undone. I thought the new novel was putrid as to what I was expecting who knows you may like it I'm not trying to ward anyone away from it this is just my take. Regardless of how bad it was it was still nice to see revan and canderous and the exile again so I guess it's not compeltely bad. 2 stars at best in my opinion I'm quite tempted to write fan-fic against this abomination or at elast bang my head against the wall until I forget everything that happens.

Its sometimes refered to as the "stormtrooper affect" stormtroopers are crack shots and great fighters until a main charcter is at risk like at mos eisley spaceport you cant tell me NONE of them could even graze han leia chewie luke R2 c-3po.. and etc....

Revan was a very powerful Jedi KNIGHT who would not sit idly by and let innocent die in the mandalorian wars he disbanded from the order stopped the mandalorians and returned a sith Lord. He was then betrayed by Malak had his memory wiped and became a Jedi Knight once more.

Hoth has a strategic route to Belsalvus which is a Republic planet. The empire wanted belsalvus because it was at the end of a smugglers route known as the Belsalvis run Tekkur'k to the planet. Tekkur'k was a major industrial planet with a huge economy that the empire wanted to take.
