  1. And you don't want to make the Scots angry. There's a reason the Romans built Hadrian's Wall!
  2. Well, I've finished Taris and just started in Naa Shadaa. The problem with relying on nodes is that a) many nodes are broken and b) nodes won't provide the blue or purple gems I need for upgraded schematics. As it stands right now, I have an inventory full of crafting components and I'm not able to craft anything that gives me a skill up (artifice is 194) as the components I need are a higher level than the planet I'm on apparently. And yes, everything gets looted and vendored.
  3. I don't know how you guys make so many creds. I've just hit 25 and after buying my skills I have 24k. I bought one inventory upgrade quite early and the rest has been spent on Treasure Hunting and Archaeology. I don't buy stims or items off the GTN (well, I bought 1, a blue relic for 4k). Where do you get all your creds from?
  4. Why do you look like a Jawa in your Character Screen?
  5. Heathen. NGE killed the game. But I still respect you
  6. I rather like SW:TOR, but I really miss SWG. I miss my bio engineer/creature handler and my teras kasi/pistoleer. I miss finding the best spots for my mining rigs and crafting über items. I miss crazy world PvP and going to cantinas and chatting then tipping the entertainer and heading out into the wastes. I miss player cities. I don't miss the NGE. Anyway, misty eyed nostalgia over with. See you on the galactic battlefields.
  7. Back in my 20's, during a period of unemployment, I once played EverQuest fpr 27 hours straight. Man, those rare mob class quest camps were hard work! Don't get me wrong, not something I'm proud of, I'm just saying...
  8. Personally, I choose my sabre colour crystals based on the stat it gives. Currently using yellow +6 End crystals, since solo survivability is imnportant to me. Purple would be nice from a purely aesthetic point of view, but if it stats are crap then I won't bother.
  9. No, you have to register your payment details so that once your free 30 days expire, your rolling subscription activates. No money will be taken until your free 30 days runs out. With regards to paying monthly, you can do so by subscribing to the rolling plan, waiting for the money to be taken for that month, then cancelling your subscription. You will be able to play for the time you have paid for, and then resubscribe when your time runs out.
  10. Its going to be like that for a while now. When I got early access I rolled on a server that had Standard population level. Now that server is Full and and has a queue by 10am. I don't want to abandon my level 21 toon. I want Bioware to do something about server queues.
  11. Been playing on Hydian Way server for the last 5 days. Queues have been an issue but not until early evening GMT. I have just tried to log in at 10:15am GMT and I am already in a 300 person queue. Hopefully, Bioware will be offering free character transfers at some point.
  12. I beg to differ. It has been stated by those financial mogul types that do all the predicting and such that if SW:TOR maintains 500,000 subscribers it will be a financial success for Bioware. It doesn't have to take 50%, or even 25% of WoW's jaded subscriber base to prove a success, and I can't see it failing to generate 500,000 long term subscribers who are willing ot wait and see how it all pans out. I played WoW since launch until a few months ago when I realised I was just logging in and going through the motions in another expansion that just didn't live up to expectations, and I for one am very pleased with SW:TOR in the state its in, and trust Bioware to take the game in the right direction.
  13. This. Bioware will improve the aspects of the game that are lacking as they see fit, over time. Have patience young padawan, and all shall be revealed.
  14. Yeah, an iOS/Android app to allow us to send companions on crew skill missions would definatly be cool.
