  1. I had forgotten about that one. I was cackling like mad when I saw and selected that option. It made it all the more sweet that I hadn't shocked her at all when I returned with the case (just excessive shocking when she told me she lost it). Then when she begged out of nowhere not to be shocked again, I had to indulge her... She brought it up... Muhahaha!
  2. Here are two screenshots of the Robes of Animus Force from the Colicoid War Game Flashpoint: http://i.imgur.com/wVNNjh.jpg http://i.imgur.com/zdOCVh.jpg
  3. On Nar Shadaa, you try to coerce some Hivemind cyborgs to trade with you for an uber microchip that you need for your class quest to create a superweapon. The cyborgs have an "I am Spartacus" or Skynet mentality. On Belsavis, you run into a Republic Officer, the Warden of the prisons, who'd been trying to get me to stop releasing prisoners into the general populace. I of course beat him within an inch of his life, and then one of his subordinates holocalls and asks for his reinforcements. I attempted to bring the Force Sensitive Gormak from my class quest off planet, and was confronted by the Voss. Their blood feud with the Gormak (and ban on any attempting to leave the planet) was going to blow up in my face. Luckily I saw this option: And of course, the speeches you give at the end of your Chapter 3 story: That was just an epic moment!
  4. Is there a set of moddable robe that looks like the one worn by the boss of the Foundry? I was just curious if anyone had run across them. The Dark Adept's robes, which drop in that flashpoint, look similar, but are not black. Much appreciated!
  5. Three Red Matrix Shards make a relic called: Matrix Cube M7-R3: +50 Endurance, +58 Willpower, +24 Critical Rating As per this guide: http://www.cyberneticpunks.com/matrix-cubes-guide-how-to-make-them/
  6. Here are two fine examples of Inquisitor lulz: (I don't remember the exact lines, so I'll do a bit of paraphrasing.
  7. This is by no means a comprehensive list (it's still being assembled), but it's the beginnings of a database of all the Orange(moddable) and Blue loot dropped exclusively from Flashpoints. You can even sort to look at all loot usable by a Sith Sorcerer for instance. For the purposes of using it now, you can assume that if a Robe of Something drops, a Lower Robe of Something also drops, even if it's not listed, and vice versa: http://www.tor-loot.com/ I used this site to put together my plan for PvP and PvE gear sets. I'd say to remember that there is some nice PvP gear available to level 40s that can help get you though your last 10 levels : http://knotor.com/item_sets
  8. I have issues when I'm encountering a lot of lag, where I'm not sure if it proced (by looking for it in the buff list) or not when it comes time to cast a chain lightning or a crushing darkness, so a visual or sound cue is better for me. Sometime I just have to take a guess and potentially step to cancel the CL or CD if I see a casting bar appear. I think there are some issues with the order in which buffs/debuffs are applied if a lot is occurring simultaneously.
  9. You are my hero for making this guide! Now that I dinged 50 I will be hunting these down in between PvP grinding. You might should add the note to the Voss Endurance +4 datacron that you must complete "The Trials" planetary quest (for all classes) to "know enough" to meditate at the crystal (in order to be "worthy enough" to use the datacron). I had a hard time figuring out what the trigger was.
  10. Exactly. As in corrupting companions in KotOR II: TSL, there was an art of subtlety to it. Whispering thoughts that plants seeds like Wormtongue (LotR). She is a woman of logic, so you must make her see logic in the Sith. I do agree that she will never be the evil incarnate manifestation like my Sorcerer, but she can undergo a fall of grace, so to speak, by renouncing the ******** of the Jedi code and becoming Grey instead.
  11. I know that the Dark Adept's Robes that drop in the foundry look like Boss's robes that he wears at the end of the boss fight. I have the Robes of Animus Force from the Colicoid War Game, which I can post a screenshot of when I get home from work.
  12. I've used Khem almost exclusively when soloing my Madness/Lightning hybrid build. I'll cast static barrier on Khem (especially if facing an elite/champion mob or a group that includes two or more hards) and then start un my rotation Affliction > FL > DeathField > Chain Lightning. If I notice that Khem is taking heavy damage, I'll toss another static barrier and start healing him with Dark Infusion if I see him dip down to 20% health. Sometimes I'll throw in an electrocute to stun an extra tough enemy to give me a few seconds to heal him. Usually the mobs are dead before he hits 50% health. The most problems I have are mobs with random aggro or Trooper/Missile Droid type enemies that can hit both of us or that I draw the aggro of. I've found it's hard for Khem to regain the aggro while I try to heal myself in those situations. I expect I'll switch to Xalek once I get him. When I'm with one or two other people for a heroic, I'll use Talos since everyone usually likes a healer.
  13. I currently use this hybrid build, which has up to the Chain Lightning ability in the Lightning Tree (Tier 3) and Creeping Death in the Madness Tree (Tier 6): http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#201ZdcMMdZcrcRsMkrc.1 I start out with an instant cast force lightning, and then according to the ability Wrath (Tier 4 of the Madness Skill Tree), when Force Lighting deals damage, I have a 30% chance that my next Force attack will have an instant activation time and will deal 20% additional damage. This means that if I see Wrath proc, I know that casting Chain Lightning will be instant, and deal a disgusting amount of damage. A Lighting-heavy build can also get an instant-cast Chain Lightning: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#201hZfcrMdoMutzZcM0M.1 Here the focus is on the ability Lightning Storm, where Lightning Strike has a 30% chance of instantly finishing the cooldown on Chain Lightning, and making the next cast of Chain Lightning instant. Force storm has a 10% chance of activating this ability buff. Note that this can only be activated once every 10 seconds. Also note that Lightning Strike itself has a casting time. Now in my opinion, for PvP, it's easier to get a Wrath (with Build #1) since Force Lightning can almost always connect ( instant cast-time) than relying on Lightning Strike or Force Storm (Build #2) to connect (You could get stunned/attacked or the enemy could run out of range). In PvE, the second build is still quite viable, as you can potentially start an attack on a group of NPC enemies with Lightning Strike/Force Storm without having to worry about them attacking/stunning you first. *Note: To have the ability to cast Chain Lightning, you must have spent the skill point in the Chain Lightning ability in Tier 3 of the Lightning Tree. You do not get it simply through leveling (like Force Storm).* Edit: TL, DR Chain Lighting is a fantastic AoE ability that can do some disgusting amounts of DPS in PvP and PvE. It has a long casting time, but this can be mitigated with other skill abilities.
  14. I'd say that Willpower > Endurance, so resolve instead of force wielder, unless you find your hitpoints too low and you have trouble with dying. If enemies are resisting your attacks, you should most certainly favor Willpower over endurance. Power works to boost the total number of force power points. So if you find yourself running out of force power, include more power, but if you don't have a problem with running out, critical enhancements will help your spells do more damage (or healing) through crits.
  15. I switched from a full lightning spec to this Hybrid Madness/DPS spec. Suddenly I could take down mobs like butter and Khem (and my friends playing tanks in flashpoints) couldn't seem to hold agrro anymore. So I'd say it's also great for PvE.
  16. I felt like a full lightning spec for single player was progressing slower than I would like. I switched over to the Madness/Lightning build that spellegren has given here at level 43. My DPS blew through the roof, and suddenly Khem can't even hold aggro as the tank anymore and Warzones became a lot more fun. Thanks again for sharing it! I highly recommend this build!
  17. Those dialogues were so chilling and satisfying. Telling them to embrace the dark, cold voids within themselves and watching them turn pale and scarred just like your Sith Lord. It's a shame you can't do something similar with Ashara. (I wish I could find the ones for Bao Dur and Brianna.)
  18. Cyan was the color of the Mantle of the Force from KotOR, and probably the color of Exar Kun's saber crystal as well. As a Sith, I am super jealous they are restricted to the Republic side.
  19. The robe in that screenshot looks remarkably like one of the light robes that drops in the Foundry that my Sorc friend pulled the other day. I think they're called the Dark Adept Robes. They are also very similar to the robes worn by the Mysterious Jedi Boss of the Foundry. Could we potentially rip the mods out of the PvP armor and put it in those or will we still lose bast stats and set bonuses given by the PvP shells themselves?
  20. For those looking for the blue and white sabilized speederbike, most forums I've checked say that it was sold in Beta, but not anymore. Speeders with the stabilized model can be obtained: 1. The level 40 custom-built speeder bike that can only be crafted and used by cybertechs: http://imgur.com/6XO0E 2. The level 40 Orlean fury, sold for 25k credits by the social vendor in the Dorn Base cantina on Hoth. It requires social VII or higher http://tor.zamimg.com/torhead/uploads/screenshots/1387.jpg
