  1. The Black Talon Inquisitor's robe pairs nicely with the Saber Marshall's Lower Robe which you can get on Dromon Kaas (I got mine as a quest reward for the Heroic near the Dark Temple). I wore that combo until I got Taris just switching out the mods. http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg827/scaled.php?server=827&filename=mainse.png&res=medium.
  2. Oh I don't plan to quest with her, haha, but I appreciate the quick response. I was just bored and curious. I play a 0/13/28 Hybrid Sorc so I either run with Xalek if I need a tank, Talos if I need healing, or Andronikos if I need additional DPS. I went back through the flashpoints to pick up orange gear sets for my companions.
  3. Not related to actually discovering where these items drop, but I did find a Saber Marshall's Waistwrap for sale yesterday on Terentatek's GTN for 7.3k credits. It's astonishing to me that someone would just practically give this away.
  4. So I purchased a set of Slave Girl social armor for Ashara since I have all these extra mods, enhancements, and armoring from the dalies (cheapest matching set of orange gear + aesthetics ). Unfortunately, her character model looks clear (as if you tried to preview the armor on a male character). Is there any way around this (like purchasing a companion customization for her? I thought the Imperial Dancer armor from the Security Key vendor worked fine on her.
  5. I thought about this too. Is it still a max of 3 targets affected? If they took off the cap, I can definitely go for this. And to clarify, the "no longer crit" part of the change only affects the healing you get back, not the actual damage of the spell itself, right?
  6. Just to clarify...there were two games called Neverwinter Nights... The first was the AOL MMORPG that came out in 1991, that most of the people in the thread have referred to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neverwinter_Nights_%28AOL_game%29 The second one, was the RPG you mentioned, made by Bioware (2002): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neverwinter_Nights
  7. If Cyan crystals ever become craftable, you can bet I will have to roll a republic alt to purchase one and transfer it via the Nar Shadaa GTN so my SI can have it. Mantle of the Force. If cyan was good enough for Exar Kun, it's good enough for me, haha!
  8. I agree. I haven't yet played any of the other storylines to completion, but the ending cinematic felt so awesome! Lulz-worthy moments like, "Oh, and one more thing before I go [Force Shock]." and mocking the Jedi Master on Aderaan for being a hypocrite for being an abomination to the Jedi Code when he breaks it by having a secret love, really made the storyline enjoyable for me. /thread I wish I could go back to the Doombringer and just relive this moment. I really felt like Palpatine. TL;DR: Though I did wish there was more manipulation and political sabotage, I enjoyed playing the sith inquisitor story mostly dark side, but playing up the humor options.
  9. IMO, I wouldn't want the whole official marriage thing hanging over my head. I mean it's great and all that she's convinced she wants to bear the bloodline of the great Kallig and Tulak Hord, but what happens when she decides she's had enough of me turning our kids into homicidal sociopaths? I don't want her to get half of my millions of credits in the divorce...
  10. Completing Act 3, and giving his vision of the future (my favorite moment out of the whole SI story): http://i.imgur.com/wVNNj.jpg Being pure dagnasty evil: http://i.imgur.com/XSTRL.jpg Will edit with more examples of hilarity if I manage to screencap them.
  11. Well there is another mention of Revan in one of the Nar Shadaa planetary quests. Yeah, the responses are correct in that the Revanite story ends on DK though. It's a shame. I almost imagined the Revanites to be a secret organization that penetrated very organization and government, like the Star Cabal from the Imperial Agent storyline.

    Kill Credit on Ilum?

Does anyone know exactly how credit for kills works on Ilum? Is it different for a small group versus an Ops group? At first I thought that any enemy I damaged before death would give credit, but there are some cases where an ops group ran across a few stragglers and not everyone who damaged the enemy before death got a kill. Obviously, this would favor anyone who had lots of AoE abilities, so I'm guessing it's more complicated than that. I've also seen solo players that run with an ops group but don't join it, benefiting from the AoE heals. How would credit be assigned if both the solo player and the ops group both damaged an enemy before death? I also wondered how kills worked for healers. Obviously they're not going to be focusing on damaging enemies, and they should definitely get credit for the group's kills, as they are vital to the success of a Zerg rush ops group or a large-scale battle between full ops groups. I didn't see a Sticky about it yet, so I wasn't sure if someone had figured out the exact mechanics.
  13. "If you think this is bad, you should meet my other personality.":D
  14. Thanks a lot for this guide! It looks like it's going to be extremely helpful when I get around to collecting datacrons on my sorc! A lot of "guides" just have coordinates, but I like how you've circled the target area on the map and provided screenshots of the area! Keep up the good work! Kudos!
  15. I'm guessing he's referring to Electrocute, Jolt, and Overload (which technically can interrupt as long as the enemy is within the range).
  16. In a general definition, kiting would mean that you are keeping an enemy's aggro on you and continually moving around (presumably to give other companions or players the chance to attack another target or regain health/energy). The idea being that you don't let the boss close enough to attack you (so you don't die) and you keep the enemy damaging/interrupting the other players/companions. In this sense, I think the poster is saying that you should keep Zash's/Thanaton's attention focused on you (so you are the target of his/her attacks) so that you can 1. Duck behind a pillar to break line of sight 2. Give your DPS companion (Ashara/Andronikos) a chance to inflict damage without being attacked/dying.
  17. I've been wearing a combination of the Robes of Animus Force and Boots of Nightmares (from The Colocoid War Game), the Adept Sage's Maelstrom Gloves and the Forcebound Lightsaber (from the Boarding Party) with a lower robe I got from Taris Commendations (and Kallig's Countenance). I've updated all of the mods and enhancements. I suppose I could find a lower robe that matched better, but I've grown to like it (levels 41-50). I haven't seen really anyone else with that look running around. I suppose it will hold out until I get my champion PvP set together. http://i.imgur.com/zdOCVh.jpg http://i.imgur.com/XSTRLh.jpg http://i.imgur.com/wVNNjh.jpg On another note, has anyone put together pieces of armor that closely resemble the look of Darth Jadus or "The Mysterious Jedi" (The Foundry)? I know there are plenty of robes that have those models but not necessarily the appropriate colors.
  18. Space Pirates can't be black? No, but that is interesting. I suppose I never thought that would be a customization possibility. The hair and tattoos are pretty bad for all the ones I've seen so far.
  19. Chiming in here that I initially got my *** handed to me several times before figuring out that interrupts and keeping your companions out of the force storm are key to beating Thanaton's spirit on Voss. I do think it adds a bit of insult to injury that you aren't allowed to med probe (which I can understand story-wise) and the nearest med center is in bone f*** egypt so you have to make a five minute bike ride every time you die... The Avatar in the Dark Heart is pretty tough as well, if anything, playing an Inquisitor taught me that any time I have to fight some incarnation of Thanaton or Zash (another Sorc), interrupts are the key to victory.
  20. Yeah I was a bit puzzled at first. It's my understanding that the real four ghosts you had bound took on manifestations of still living people in your life (and a wampa). Rylee, Thanaton, and even Zash are still all technically still alive when you fight them as spirits. But again, I'm pretty sure you're fighting the four spirits you have bound, not the actual spirits of Rylee, Thanaton, and even Zash.
  21. Personally, though he is sadistic, sarcastic, and pure dagnasty evil, I'd like to think my sorcerer has ambitions akin to Darth Jadus. Since the decision to release the spirits or not wasn't actually tied toLight Side/Dark Side points (for me), I thought he would actually release the ghost. As awesome as power his, he knows that they caused detrimental harm to his body and his mind, and that the spirits would continue to hinder his progress if kept bound against their will. He may be evil, but he sees the logic in earning power by his own merit. He still has the one spirit from Hoth, who definitely stayed with him. He may have issues in loss of total power, but he will never have to face the "revenge of the spirits." If he needs more power, he'll find another source. I'm only wondering if our story line will have as many divergent branches as the Imperial Agent, haha.
  22. So far as the cult, I killed the fat lord and had Rylee run the cult. She continually flirted with me for the rest of the story and I kind of viewed her as that clingy one-night-stand that keeps awkwardly showing back up. When the hivemind cyborgs showed up, I force persuaded them to join my cult instead of handing over leadership to them. Then they offered the microchip as a welcome gift (I completely didn't think that would work). I noticed there were three choices in the closing of Act III that could potentially have implications on the future of the story line. You tell your followers where to concentrate their efforts: You are then confronted by the bound Sith ghosts. There are several dialogue options ranging from immediately taking action to giving them a chance to explain/ask for freedom. You then give directions to your companions: Personally, though he is sadistic, sarcastic and pure dagnasty evil, I'd like to think my sorcerer has ambitions akin to Darth Jadus. He is a slave, who rose quickly through the ranks into an organization plagued by petty power struggles, infighting, and xenophobia. He chose to tell his supporters to crush the republic. He hates the Jedi order and all the hypocrisy they stand for (choosing to mock the Jedi Master on Alderaan rather than lightning his ***), and would love to reclaim the galaxy for the Empire. I thought he would actually release the ghost. As awesome as power his, he knows that they caused detrimental harm to his body and his mind, and would continue to hinder his progress if kept bound against their will. He may be evil, but he sees the logic in earning power by his own merit, and fulfilling an agreement (we stay with you until Thanaton is dead, then let us go). He still has the one spirit who stayed with him. With regards to his companions, he intends to reshape the Sith Order and the Empire in his image, eventually killing off the Dark Council and the Emperor if need be. As Darth Jadus said, "I believe we must spread the ways of the Sith to the Empire entire. Plant terror and hatred in every heart. I believe in the democratization of fear." http://i.imgur.com/wVNNjh.jpg Those were my choices, what did you guys end up picking? I'm also insanely jealous of the plot deviations in the Imperial Agent storyline. Those are Witcher-level story ramifications.
  23. If it's the guy in the center, I have a version of this mask I believe that I got from a quest on Alderaan. I'll post a screenshot if this turns out to be the case. I believe the center of the map was copper colored while the outside was silver/grey.
  24. There are some delightfully evil ideas in this thread. I'm glad to see I'm not the only mustache-twirling troll who rolled a sorcerer, haha!
