  1. Bioware doesn't nerf them because the numbers behind it on their logs are satisfactory to it's role. I, being a Sentinel wouldn't mind having cooldowns increased a bit on Force Camoflauge. That being said, they did just adjust it's function. It used to be 100% damage protection for 4 seconds, but now it is 50% for 6. There are still AOE's, DOT's and slows to help negate FC's effects. I am a sentinel, as I said, and it wouldn't hurt my feelings to have some things adjusted, because in 1v1 duels, we do very well when we are on our game with all but Assassin/Shadow tanks when they are on their game. Just like a Sniper/Gunslinger under certain conditions can destroy anything if they get the drop with appropriate range, Sentinel can typically destroy anything that stays in front of their face. There are certain conditions that each class is designed to thrive under, and face to face Melee range is Sentinel/Marauder's preferred condition. In duels this is very easy to facilitate, in warzones there are much more variables. I'm not one of those L2P L337 jerks who just blames everything on the player, but I do recommend that ranged players put effort into keeping their range (not to say people aren't). We can be kited for days if you play your cards right, and your cards tell you to stay at range.
  2. Standard mobs are crazy easy, boss mobs are often overpowered. You go into a fight feeling very prepared and then get wiped, often on bosses that you match or outlevel. Its a Dev issue. They are doable, but I found myself very frustrated at points. With the Sentinel main boss fight, normal DPS role doesn't work. You try to focus down the adds, like a Sentinel is told to do in mmo's and you find yourself very dead. It wasn't until I was told by a friend to do something very out of character for Sentinel (focus the boss, ignore the adds) that I excelled.
  3. I think part of the problem is that the leveling guage seemed to be off. If a boss mission said you needed to be 32 you often actually need to be 34. It's odd that so many people are ignoring the OP's qualifier of not outleveling the mob. Most of the guys who are saying "play better bro" also have in their list of strategies to be higher level than the mob. Part of the problem I ran into while leveling my sentinel is that it is all learning by doing, and there is very little tutorial resource in the game. The story line compels you to go get that boss now, but the mmo combat aspect demands you fight and die to find out what works. You go to the trainer and all the sudden you can use these moves that you arent familiar with that are necessary to take on game mechanics that you arent familiar with on top of an innaccurate leveling criteria. Its just a learning curve. Everybody dies on bosses sometimes, especially when they are new to the mmo mechanics. Just remember your character is a battle expert in the story, so that is assuming he/she understands their own battle mechanics, while we, the player, are still learning as we go by trial and error.
  4. Agreed, great game, terrible development decision, giving sith a jedi color and keeping them both in a color cage. Also, it's pretty lame seeing every single battle master with a black lightsaber.what were you thinking? Let us work for what we want. Don't lock us out. Or in. I don't want to have a black lightsaber in Order to have good stats. I want purple sabers like jedi from lore have. Dont just give it to sith.
  5. Sure would be nice if jedi could have the cool purple saber that, you know, a JEDI has in the movie, instead of seeing the sith have exclusive access to the jedi color that everyone wants. instead we have minty blue toothpaste sticks because....well....because... Why?
  6. Sure would be nice If I could get through my missions without wiping 8 times. Especially since I leveled up ahead of time because I know the JK missions are OP. I do well in PvP. I don't suck. And I know I'm not the only one with this issue. When I get my healer should I just say goodbye to the rest of my crew? Because that's the only way to avoid wiping as a Sentinel.
  7. Probably just be a level 50 inquisitor cluster zap.
  8. Purple is the new blue. Go with that one. No, the flannel one. Yeah.
  9. I would like to see you guys apologize for giving Empire all the perks, including animation imbalances, giving sith exclusive access to Jedi colored lighsabers (purple) and special attention to sith story- lines, with promises to fix them. Not much you can do for the story.
  10. Yeah if we are gonna work for the most powerful PVE weapon, don't make it a black lightsaber. That is a really bad idea. Most people think having black sabers in the game alone is stupid enough, don't make us choose the dumbest weapon because it is strongest.. There is nothing iconic about it.
  11. And Georg, to answer your question, I would like to echo what others have said: Puzzles for rare stuff are good and well, but putting those restrictions on something as menial in functionality as a lightsaber color was a really poor decision. How could you not pay attention to the infinite posts from excited people about customizing their jedi or sith to have their saber be a certain color? It feels like a very arbitrary and selfish decision on the developers' part to just decide to take a popular JEDI lightsaber color (purple), and allow the empire to earn it and not the republic. I had hope, thinking we could get it from world bosses, even though it's crap that a neutral color be awarded to only one faction through pvp, but even the world boss drop is PINK. That's nonsense.
  12. If they are unique, how does that work for Sentinels and Marauders?
