    Thanks Bioware

    +1 One Love! /Bird
  2. Sort of... I'm playing with the idea. Read everything and you will understand.
  3. http://imageshack.us/f/651/mvp6medals2.jpg/ http://imageshack.us/f/543/mvp6medals.jpg/ I know what I´m doing. That is not the point. I (obviously) do lots of other stuff than JUST whack-a-mole. Maybe I exaggerated a bit when saying it JUST becomes a game of w-a-m. BUT, it does take away alot of the need of "awareness" that I want in PvP *edit* And please read what I had to say regarding the hitboxes. /Bird
  4. Aye. Tbh I didn´t even consider PvE when this came to mind. About the hitbox. I did say that maybe by making the friendly healthbars bigger and ppl able to target players by clicking the healthbars it could work.
  5. Sage healer here providing some positive pictures for you healers to look at. If I can do it, so can you. http://imageshack.us/f/543/mvp6medals.jpg/ http://imageshack.us/f/651/mvp6medals2.jpg/ The sage is so much more than just a healer. /Bird
  6. Obviously noone will voluntarily do that knowing you would be a more effective healer with raidframes. I´m not sure you see the whole picture here. If the enemy team is using raidframes, you are "forced" to use them yourself, thus forcing you to play whack-a-mole. I really should get some sleep.
  7. Also updating your UI (ctrl+U twice) can work. It doesn't allways, but it can.
  8. I´ll take that as a complimant But you do make some valid points. I have no illusions that the raidframes will ever go away, and maybe they shouldn't. I have been enjoying healing in swtor PvP more than in any other mmo, and thought that maybe it has something to do with me having to pay close attention to what is happening around me instead of watching a little box to the left of my screen. I wanted to play with the idea of removing the raidframes and get some feedback from the community. It´s like 9 in the morning where I am and I´m getting pretty sleepy. Hopefully when I wake up more people have dropped a few thoughts on this. Until then. Good night and happy PvPing. /Bird

    PVP healing

    I think it´s a misunderstanding... You´re beside me.
  10. I really enjoy watching videos and appreciate the fact that you took the time to make one. But the quality was so bad I didn´t watch more than a few seconds. Sry! Maybe something to think about for your next video. /Bird
  11. I don´t know... Difficulty needs to be spread... Wouldn´t it be? In warzones it´s team against team. Both your teammates and enemys DPS could tab target. Both your teammates and enemys healers would have to go thru the same thing to heal. Why is this not fair?

    PVP healing

  13. Yes, but I AM a healer. And I was forced to take a different approach by the buggy raidframes. It made me have to watch the healthbars instead of the raidframes, and IT IS doable, very much so. And I don´t find the playing field tilted towards DPS. Granted I am only at lvl 25ish and this may change further on. But for now I find my Sage healer to be a very powerful tool in warzones. *edit* Also, I don´t agree with you at all when you say DPS only have to worry about one healthbar at a time.
  14. I posted this in another thread. But now I want it to have a thread of it's own. And here we are now. So, what do you people out there think? Is this complete crazytalk, or could you learn to like it? Let me know. /Bird

    PVP healing

Ok, fair enough. Even if the healers only do heal, I don´t see a reason to remove tab targeting. Let´s put it that way I´m sure you have done what I have during the WZ when the Raid frames has been bugged. Which is keeping an eye on the characters Health bars, right?! Don´t you agree that it does take you from the whack-a-mole into the action? And that it´s a good thing? *edit* Also, this way you would only know the health of the players that you can see. This means "awareness" would play a much bigger part, which I am totally for. Why would you know the health of someone at the east turrent in Alderaan if you are fighting at the west? *edit2* I'm starting a new thread regarding this. Don´t want to mess up this thread with my nonsense. I will copy/paste your posts there.

    PVP healing

Well, seeing as all healers in swtor also dps and CC, or atleast they should, I don´t see why tab targeting should be removed.
  17. Yes, I would say Sniper. Not that I´ve played one. But I´ve been targetted by them many times. And when that happens, I usually run away like a scared flamingo. Who does?!

    PVP healing

I´m not a total stranger to the idea of removing Raid frames all together tbh. I´m playing a Sage healer and in a way I kinda like the broken Raid frames. It removes the whack-a-mole playing style and takes you into the action in a new way. You have to keep an eye on the screen and the health bars over the characters heads. Yes, it´s a bit harder, but in no way less fun. There are situations (a teammate surrounded by enemys) where the Raid frames are a must. It's allmost impossible to target a teammate in those situations. But, if there was a way to get around this (bigger health bars on teammates that you can click to target a player?) maybe I would prefer not having Raid frames at all?! Maybe. I don´t know. What do you guys think?
  19. It´s only Empire who are having this problem bc of them being so many. Right?! I know I´m not having this problem and I'm playing Republic. I think/hope that will change over time. Maybe not to an even 50/50 empire/republic, but hopefully it will get better. Sh*t happens. I've never seen this, and I only PvP, so it can't be that big of an issue.
  20. We're not here cause we are happy!!! No, but I agree. Swtor PvP is better than I would ever had hoped for.

I too am a Sage healer and I´m sry, but if you think heals are too weak you ARE doing it wrong. Besides, I don´t really like to think of the Sage healer as a pure healer. More like something inbetween Dps and heals. Infact, the only thing I find Sage´s are lacking is burst. Which ofc should be the way. Like someone else said. To outheal a dps is a piece of cake. Some CC, shield, a heal here, some dps there and I'm dandy. I can easily hold a turrent in Alderaan against 2 opponents for quite some time. It´s all about good movement and CC.

    Yeah... Well... Hmmm... ..... L2P
  23. A good tip I have is to bind A and S as strafe left/right and W for going forward. You should try to get used to NEVER backpeddle. This way you also now have S free to bind to an ability.
