I haven't played since the last patch, but it seems like my assassin is doing quite a bit less damage in pvp. I'm also seeing people dodge my attacks more. Was there a nerf I missed?

The drop rate of Cyrene Silk (A lvl 1 Luxury Fabric) is absolutely atrocious. I can run 20 Luxury Fabric missions, and get maybe 2 pieces of Cyrene Silk, but I will receive dozens of pieces of Shadow Silk. I know it's not just me, because there are only 5 pieces of Cyrene on the entire GTN, while there are hundres of Shadow Silk. I can understand if you want to mix up the drop rate of certain items, but for a lvl 1 Crafting Material? To me, this is highly discouraging. I have a lot of things I would like to craft, but can't because there are no resources. I'm on Krayt Dragon if that helps.

I stomped the bejesus out of that thing with my Juqq and with Quinn healing me. Wasn't that hard.

I see what you're saying. Baron though, is DPS. He always has the most kills and DPS. Personally, I don't care if I get MVP. I just don't agree with people thinking healers are the most important aspect of PvP. It's a team effort. Without the DPS, you can't win. Period. You wouldn't even make it a challenge for the other team. Without heals, you can still win, and give the other team one hell of a fight. ALTHOUGH, if the other team has very skilled healers, they will most likely win, but it's not guaranteed.

Not quite. There is a guy on Krayt Dragon named Baron. This Baron guy is a lvl 50 Vanguard, with full PvP gear apparently. He has over 16k health. He is not a healer. He IS a game changer, all by himself. It takes almost an entire team to bring the big sucker down, even when he isn't being healed. I'm not saying that healers aren't needed by some people, but they aren't the end all be all of the game in any aspect. It takes healers, and killers, to win.

See my post above this one, and what I said about healers. What a joke. Tell your team not to kill anyone in your next PvP match. Everyone just heal. Let me know what happens.

You don't heal?!? According to this community, you're worthless if you just kill stuff. As for MVP, don't worry about it. You get something like 50 valor, and a few extra credits per MVP vote. Not worth worrying over IMHO.

I understand what you're saying with this, but I just don't follow that line of reasoning. I hate, HATE, healers who get all whiny and cry about people just doing DPS. As soon as I see a healer say something stupid about "I'm not going to heal anyone who isn't doing the objectives", I immediately leave him to fend for himself, or I'll go piss off a pack of enemies and run back to the healer so that he gets mobbed. I don't need a healer. I don't give a crap if you heal me or not. My job is to kill people, and throw out DPS. If I die doing that, then I'm doing my job. I'm supposed to die. I'm supposed to get the enemies attention and then hold their attention so that they aren't focused on the rest of my team. At the end of the match, I have 48 kills, 3 deaths, and ZERO objective, or healing points. According to the people in this thread, I did absolutely nothing for the team. Try this....in your next PvP match, tell your whole team to not kill anyone, and just focus on the objectives. Let me know how that works out for you. There are multiple jobs in the PvP matches, and some of them don't get objective, or healing points. As much as you hate me, you NEED me out there killing enemies. You NEED me on that wall. YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH! ETA: I'm not saying I don't protect healers (unless they are being idiots like I described above), because I do. But I don't give healers any special treatment. I protect anyone I can. Most healers I know or have seen have a kind of "God complex".

Around what level did you finish Act I?

First of all, I am having a blast playing this game. I have a 27 Juggy, a 17 Sorc, a 14 Gunslinger, and a whole bunch of others below 10 that I'm just starting. I've been playing online games ever since EQ, and since then, I have played just about every MMO that has come out. 5 years in CoX, 3 years in EQ2, 6 years in SWG, 2 weeks in WoW (hated the community), etc. This is an awesome game, that JUST CAME OUT. I think there are a lot of people that are coming from other games that have been out for years, and they are expecting the same level of content and polish, and that just isn't going to happen. It takes YEARS for MMO's to reach their full potential. They never come out on Day 1 and everyone is all "THIS GAME IS FREAKING AMAZING!!!!11 THEY DON'T NEED TO ADD ANYTHING!" Doesn't happen. There are some issues that need to be worked on. Some things need to be balanced and fixed. But I'm still having fun. So, with all of that said, list some fun things, or some stuff you've done in game that has made you giggle with delight (or malice). The first time I jumped into a pack of mobs that were a few levels above me, and had two Strong enemies to boot....and I wiped the floor with them with my Jugg. After the fight I stood there looking at the bodies, and looking at my half full health bar and thought... "I AM A GAWD." And then giggled.

If you see a lvl 50 with no legacy, they pvp'd to 50. You can lose a pvp match and as long as you are killing/protecting, you can pull down 10k + xp per match. Pretty quick and easy.

Wow, hi there troll. I don't remember saying I was offended. I'm pretty sure I said it was funny...*checks*....yep, I said it was funny.

This doesn't work. I can't tell you the number of times someone has run around me in a circle while I just stand there and beat the crap out of them while spinning to keep up with them. Same thing with jumping. It does NOTHING. It doesn't make you harder to hit, or take you out of my range. It is funny when I kill someone in mid-air though. Did these tactics work in pvp in other MMO's?
