2/31/8 deception, my personal favorite since launch. I also have tried madness in wz and i was always on the top 3 damagers.

I 've seen a 9000 maul hit not long ago. Nice dmg though.

So as it seems i am not the only one having this bad experience. It's a pitty and i hope some imp players to realise this.

So what about if we change the rules a little bit and start attacking on each others bases like its done on pvp servers? Or arrange a massive pvp event on Ilum?

Please someone tell me why the imperial teams on the Red Eclipse server are not fighting at all and standing all together to a nod doing nothing? I quitted playing wz's a couple of months now due to this behavior.

For a few months i was running 0/27/14 for pve having a lot of fun, but something was always bothering me. This something was that i couldn't proc induction with death field or discharge without hitting thrash (which i hate to use) and also it was frustrated to wait for the long cooldowns of df and discharge so bye bye burst. Eventually when i decided to do some tests myself, i ended up to the conclusion that i was not only loosing burst but also was loosing damage too. So in order to see if its something going wrong or its just me, i tried some parses on the ops dummy using waka's 0/27/14 spec and the 2/31/8 chain shock for 7min on the first one and 10min on the second one. This is what i found out: With the 0/27/14 spec I used 80 times thrash, causing 43.438 total damage and having 542,98 avg damage. I used 24 times DF, causing 44.614 total damage and having 1.858,92 avg damage. With the 2/31/8 spec I used 238 times VS, causing 143.330 total damage and having 602,23 avg damage. Plus that with this spec i had more dps in total and faster discharge cooldown due to 2 points on recirculation. Even if the parse was in 7min like the other one, it wouldn't matter. Again VS would cause much more damage than both DF and thrash together. As it seems VS is essential not only to sustain your burst damage, but it also causes much more damage in total and procs and stacks induction immediately and always. All this time i wanted to believe that death field was op against voltaic slash and i was so WRONG. Please do some parses on your own and share your results. Once more i must say that pve is my interest so for pve was my tests. Maybe for pvp it works different i don't know. P.S. Adding 2 points on entropic field stacks with sith defiance or not?

This week i switched from deception to madness for the first time since i started swtor and the results are amazing. I am on the top 3 players in damage in every wz.

So i did a 14min run on the dummy, using the best rotation and abilities (recklessness-overcharge saber-relic-blackout) and giving my best effort. All i got was a max 768,80 dps and a lot of frustration. My build is the 2-31-8 chain shock, wearing full recruit stalker's gear. As i am paying to play this game, for me is the same as i am paying to eat in a restaurant. If i find the food horrible then i'll demand to fix it and not "contributing" helping the cooker with his recipe. That's that.

Use discharge on every cd starting from the 1st stack. Every further stack is weaker that the previous.
