Is it broken? I do a search of the area and it shows no one looking for group yet I have passed at least 5 people with the LFG sign by their portrait.

What I found in warzones is your spec matters a ton on what you can do and what your role is. If you go the df/sab hybrid- which a ton of people like- then yeah you do a ton of damage... you are hitting groups of people and making them bleed... but it's a slow death. Not that you are not effective but you really cannot take someone out on your own quickly if they are coming at you. You have to be with a group or you will die. If you go SS you have the power behind your shots to kill them. I can go 1v1 and usually kill t hem. If they are much better geared or tank spec it's tough I'll admit but I feel I have more of a chance than with a dot spec. So basically I decided I like SS better in the long run. I do not put up the huge numbers I did with df/sab however, I stay alive better if I am being attacked and kill them before they kill me. And don't get me wrong SS still puts up nice numbers it's just going to be a drop from what you have been seeing with all your dots ticking all over the place. Anyway that's just how it worked out for me

I am not sure I understand your question... You say you got a gunslinger to 50 during the early access--- what happened to that character? If you enjoyed the class then I would say yes it is worth it but I do not understand why you are needing to. Also as far as gear yes there is PvP gear- but that can be said for every class and would not be any different of a grind no matter the class you picked. As a fresh 50 the way it is set up you will be slaughtered your first week- this is until you get a few pieces of gear and you will be back to where you were before. Again this is true for every class not just gunslingers. There is also gear from doing dailies as well as drops in flashpoints. You also mention a guild and gearing is pretty quick in ops if your guild is running those. Again though this grind would be the same no matter the class you pick. You can gear your character through multiply ways there is no set - This is the only gear that works you must get it. So play what you like and have fun. I hope that helps... honestly it is really not very clear what you are asking.

I think some servers are hurting.. however I have noticed that my server and other servers have been a good bit higher here lately... Not to say a merger would help... but it may be faster to just pick a different server and start a new character. Worse comes to worse in a few months maybe you can transfer your other 50? I really feel bad for the low pop guys but not sure they are going to see anything any faster than it would take to relevel in all honesty.

Last I checked ss was a gunslinger talent tree and the talent that knocks them back is percussive shot... sharpshooter often seen as ss in these forums... attitude like that won't get you far. I offered suggestions to help and you were a jerk... gl this class is not for you.

The lag has been fixed for cover- a couple patches back. It is actually much much better and pretty responsive compared to what it use to be. I love the cover mechanic personally I think it is fun and why I stuck with a gunslinger. If you don't enjoy cover then yes I would suggest rerolling. If you have a melee on you there are a few things you can do 1. Dirty kick stun and then if you are a SS you can hit them with aimed shot and shoot them back and then hit with leg shot. 2. Pluse charge and then hit them with a leg shot... it keeps them a bit back for a bit Basically knock backs with leg shot are your friend.. and you hit them hard so you should do a bit of damage by then.

Well binding would help that from happening but if you must click There is also a lock button in your options so if you do have to click it won't move anymore. I would recommend trying to play without clicking though. Adjust your bindings so that they are easier to hit... don't use 7-= change those to better keys like shift 1,2,3,4,5. Once you get use to using keys instead of clicking your reactions will be much faster.

I had a really hard time with it and energy in PvE. In warzones it was a blast because the fights are fast... It was probably me just playing it wrong but it seems like with this spec you really need to use flurry of bolts a ton to have any sort of energy left. I would say give it a try you can always respec if you hate it;)

The story actually varies light/dark and male/female. I also have 2 servers I am playing on for the slots to get to see them. I enjoy it so far so who knows I may see them all at some point.

We also have leg shot a root I use all the time. So we have 3 ccs. I use all of the for pve and pvp and find them pretty effective in all honesty. Also slice droid there are plenty of times for that in pve so that gives us 4

I think that the stats are not as big of deal as the fact (from what I understand)- everyone gets reusable stims... so in essence they do not want bichem to be a way of making credits. Having a reusable is a bonus to biochem... so why does everyone get to have this? A one time purchase? I am certainly not going to reverse engineer the schematic for other people!

The difference is huge. I have been 50 for a week and I love PvP and have been doing so since I was level 10. I was pretty confident in my ablities once I hit 50 but as soon as I got into a wz with no PvP gear I am slaughtered in about 3-4 shots. I understand that there has to be a reward for putting time into pvp and I think that gear should bump you up however being a fresh 50 and not being able to do anything but die for a week until you get a bit of gear is frustrating. However, many people are just hitting 50 and I think it will balance out. The gear is fairly easy to get- in 1 week I have 4 pieces- and can stand a bit more damage now but yeah getting to that point is frustrating and brutal.

I have not seen my server marked full in weeks and tonight it is.. and quite a few are very heavy! Hate to say though there are some marked light.. kinda feel bad for those guys.

smuggler has been the funnest for me.

well I could at least test what stim/relic or whatever temp buff does the most for me. I can see how much of a change in damage a talent is doing to something by seeing the numbers. Yes logs would help a ton but I would really like to see what an ability can do if I have points put in to buff it or use a consumable. Idk I just think it would be nice to see what numbers my abilities are doing at least it's more than what I have to go on right now.

How is your energy on boss fights with dirty fighting? I tried it the last couple of levels I had and I could not take down mobs without being completely out of energy. I like the way it looks but when I try to play it I just have nothing left!
