  1. I'm back for 4.0 after a 6 month hiatus. Big surprise, this bug still isn't fixed, 7 months after I reported it. I get that it's low priority, but could Bioware at least make an effort to address it?
  2. I'm aware of the masses of clipping issues in this game, but the hood clipping is diabolical with this gear style. In most cutscenes there's some wacky hood deformations, and even when sitting down there's this hilarious crown style thing going on: http://imgur.com/EaLRdro http://imgur.com/PTWY6NE I mean, really. This is pushing the boundaries of what is acceptable to release in a subscription/cashshop game. Was it even tested before being released?
  3. 3 minute CD to restore 1/3 of your force. lmao
  4. Just flaked out of AOT, because the healer was a huge baby. He decided to use some ridiculous strategy on the first boss, where we all run away and let the channeled shield from the adds run out, then burn down the adds. This of course took 3x as long as normal, and to top it all off the tank died. This wasn't the healers problem of course, because he was "taking damage". I don't know where from. Eventually he pissed off the tank after getting beat on by an add, causing the tank to leave. He called us all crap players, then did a runner. Turns out he put me on ignore too. A good waste of time all round.
  5. We're a guild which formed a while back, but IRL commitments meant most players have died off. We're now looking to find mature, long-term members with a relaxed attitude. Any level is fine, we're not picky. Our goal right now is to obtain the guild flagship, along with potentially running HM/NNs. We're not a super-focused raiding guild, but more a guild to enjoy the XP benefits and chat without any hard commitments to raiding schedules. Basically we're a social guild that isn't looking for meme-spouters. Contact Kuroic, Balaira or Barryan ingame for an invite.
  6. Have they already got accounts with the email addresses you're trying to refer?
  7. Noxxic is a great starting point. Their stat numbers are sometimes a little off, but you don't need to worry about that now. All the basics are accurate there. http://www.noxxic.com/swtor/pve/jedi-knight/sentinel/watchman/stat-priority
  8. Scroll down the list of items, I guarantee you there's stuff that needs comms.
  9. I doubt you'll be able to do Makeb, most mobs are 52-53 which is a bit too high for you to fight without coming close to death every other pull. How did you manage to finish so early though? As far as I know F2P/Pref get the same amount of XP as everyone did pre-F2P, and I managed to get to 50 on Voss at that time.
  10. It's only the armoring mod the raises the armor, but better mods in general make better armor.
  11. Are you talking about the armor value? If you are, the value depends on the armoring mod in the gear. The the higher the rating of the armoring the higher the armor value of the gear.
  12. Telling us to just wear something else as a workaround isn't a solution. These gear sets are bloody ugly, but we're supposed to work to get them. How is that supposed to work, exactly?
  13. Personally I find it near-pointless, and I wouldn't miss it whatsoever if it was removed. The 5% bonus to healing is neat, but it's made redundant if your healer has to move at all. It probably would've been more useful if it provided a 5% bonus to healing RECIEVED. It just seems like a skill for a ranged class, not a melee class. Some sort of ranged ability, like a saber throw, would've been more useful.
  14. I think you'll find that SWTOR was in development since 2006. You read that right. 6 years.
  15. What an idiotic post. As for the mod API, I fully agree that it would take the weight off Bioware's shoulders and allow them to pump out new content faster. What I'm not so sure about is letting people install any mods they want. WoW was, I feel, negatively influenced by mods. With stuff like threat meters and deadly boss mods, raiding was completely trivialized and Blizzard was forced to start tuning new content to users of the mods. I think a better system would be where anyone could develop mods for SWTOR but Bioware has to approve mods for use. Allow the useful stuff, and avoid the gamebreaking stuff.
  16. I agree with every point there, ESPECIALLY 4. If I start up RIFT right now, I can transfer a character to any server I want, and it's instantaneous. No payment, no nothing. It just works. Bioware have SHOWN that they have a system capable of transferring large amount of characters at one time when they consolidated the servers, there is no reason why character transfers haven't been implemented yet. I
  17. I'm about to wipe my current HDD for use as a storage drive, so I'm backing up SWTOR so I won't need to redownload. I copied the Program Files>Electronic Arts>Bioware>Star Wars - The Old Republic folder to an external drive, but the folder is only 22GB. I'd expect it to be larger than that, given that I've downloaded the expansion. Are all the patches contained in another folder somewhere, or am I just being dumb?
  18. Killing companions was removed before launch.
  19. First of all, DON'T EVER BUY GEAR FROM VENDORS. EVER. Only buy gear from commendation vendors or the gtn. As for looking for gear on the gtn, just search for light armor gear. The consular/inquisitor is the only class that uses li8ght armor, so everything you see there is applicable to you. Basically, gear yourself up via comms vendors, gtn and flashpoint runs.
  20. I think the question is how you DIDN'T know, it was heavily publicized by Bioware as a subber perk. Regardless, it's not that much of a perk, I've been subscribed since F2P launch and have only got 1 batch of coins.
  21. What exactly are you trying to craft? Augments require a workstation, but I can GUARANTEE you you don't need to use one for any other schematics. If you want to craft stuff above 100 just go to your craft skill trainer and learn new schematics.
  22. You don't need to train anything, their skills are learned automatically.
  23. It's a question of balance. If snipers could shoot people across an entire Warzone they would be OP as hell. You might as well ask why lightsabers effectively function as glowsticks in swtor instead of cutting through everything.
