It worked in Galactic Seasons 1. No reason it wont work again. It's not pointless since its an extremely useful mechanic that has worked in the past.

And potentially reroll into something better. No, you wouldnt get the same objective again. I never said that. You are only making that assumption and obviously we DO need the reroll option due to all the broken missions.

No,I didn't make a mistake. I made this thread on purpose to request reroll on Galactic Seasons because its much needed at this point. And like I pointed out before, not everyone is available to play on reset day so its unreasonable to use that as a solution. At the end of the day, reset option is the best solution.

Problem is there isnt any groups going for sparks of war in my server. All I see is that reroll is a positive for everyone involved. People are stuck anyways on the missions they got now so they might aswell reroll.

I don't see what the problem here is. If you reroll then you have a chance at getting a doable mission. Not guaranteed but atleast helps improve your odds. As mentioned, reroll was there in GS 1 and it was great. Everytime I got a bugged mission, I would reroll and be able to move forward. Having the reroll is better than having no reroll at all.

Thats why you add reroll to give you something other than the fixed missions.

Not everyone is available to be there on day one and even then, they might not be available on prime time hours and even if they were, people aren't guaranteed to find a party. The complaint is not even just the availability but also the fact that a good chunk of the missions are bugged. Last week starfighter medals were bugged and this week has bugs too. It's better for everyones sake to have a reroll function.

Hey, I would like to see the reroll mechanic from Galactic Seasons 1 to come back. This week, theres alot of missions I simply cant do because its bugged, requires a huge group of players which is hard to get or involves crafting where you have to get schematics that may not be available. I am struggling with this weeks missions and I think many others are aswell and due to the large amount of bugs in this expansion, im losing my will to contiunue subbing or doing GSI due to inability to do the missions given to me.

Try Final Fantasy XIV. That game is similar in the sense that it focuses on story and they are expanding the Trust System which is kinda like companions except they are tied to dungeons so you can't use them out of dungeons. I noticed that this game tries to give a wide variety of alien races as companions but one of the most cool races is Yoda's mysterious race. I say give us a yoda companion with light and dark side variant customizations. Also, would like to see a white-yellow color crystal (white core with yellow glow) on the cartel for anyone that would like a color crystal on collections to simulate a jedi sentinel that protected the stuff at the jedi temple.

Well, i think its better that they just let u use whatever animations u want. But if we want a lore reason then we can simply look at what luke said "No force power is inherently evil" examples would be the yellow force lightning called Judgement and lukes version of force lightning called emerald lightning. My suggestion is to just let us use whatever we want. If you really want to make it a clear difference, u can just introduce new animations such as turning force lightning yellow for light side users.

Of all the things that galactic seasons makes you do, the only thing that really bothers me and gets on my nerves is Operations. Hardly anyone wants to run those when im online and the group finder takes forever with people constantly cancelling the que. Of ALL the things I just wish they removed Operations from galactic seasons or make them solo-able. It honestly feels like more of a punishment for being a subscriber than a reward.

The points I made still stand. The vetting process has been tried. The fact is that people arent likely to be as professional as someone who does it for money and for their career. Prior mmos have shown this to be the case. I know you like to think there are more kind people than bad but if the entirety of the internet is to be used as an example its that theres more bad than good. Regardless, i'll just agree to disagree.

The only type of mentor system that has ever worked in my experience is the type of mentor system that lvl sync people down to the lvl that the helped player is at and give additional experience while awarding the mentor some kind of prize for his effort. The type of mentor that ffxiv has for example is a complete disaster because the mentor chat channel is filled with trolls misinformation and spam. Alot of the mentors dont know what they are talking about and the community has generally accepted that the image of a mentor is a guy with a burgerking crown that sucks at the game. It has completely failed to do what it set out to do. and anything relating to giving certain players higher authority over other players in terms of punishment/investigating/reporting/modding is a terrible idea because many mmos in the past tried this years ago and it just ended up turning into an abusive system that overall led to scandals or creating a bad image for the game. Any real mentorship should come from your guild in my opinion but thats being idealistic cause alot of guilds cant pull off good organization and leadership.

From my understanding, that is correct. You may lose some companions permanently if it defaults to every dark choice and u may lose other companions based of branch choices.
