Arena is the worst thing to ever happen to WoW, it's not een close. I, for one, think SWToR would be 1000 times better without PvP at all. ~No more nerfs cuz someone whines about balance. ~No more getting griefed cuz some B-net kiddy wants to ruin your day to get his rocks off. ~No more whines. ~No more people complaining that X class cannot compete becuz someone got rolled in a WZ. ~The vocal baddie brigade goes to play GW2 and the community instantly becomes 50 times better than it was before. ~Grammar and spelling instantly become 50 times better than is was before. The list goes on and on.

I guess you could level to 50 and not do your class quest, but why would you want to? You get more companions to send out on crafting missions at the very least.

I think that if you post anecdotal evidence and try to pass it off as fact, your CC should get charged $0.05. That way people would learn real quick to stop posting garbage like it's gospel.

Plus, you make so much money doing dailies, I don't even bother with the GTN anymore. I made my 1st 3 or 4 million with the GTN and the next 20 million with dailies.

Not sure I understand your question. But your legacy points are shared across all your characters. If you complete a quest on a level 50 and you gain 3500 LP, your total LP goes up by 3500. If you complete a quest on a level 1, and you gain 5 LP, your legacy total goes up by 5. There is no penalty for making characters early or late. Your legacy is a pool of total points gained. It is not separate on each character.

EMPHATIC no. F2P games bring in the idiots and kiddies. They are flooded with morons who can't function in regular social environments but can try to get attention in F2P games by spouting garbage in general chat. LoTRO lowbie areas are perfect examples of this. Want decent people, play the upper level zones, the kiddies don't have any content there, so they stay away.

So let me get this straight. You, a consumer, want an item to be priced at X. And when said item is priced at Y, you are complaining? Welcome to free market. Deal with it. Oh we understood that you are part of the kiddy generation that wants everything handed to them and doesn't want to actually work for anything. You know, like take the time to gear your companion up so he is effective. Nah, you just wanna slap any old drop on him, light armor with willpower and have him be the Ubermensch. In case people were curious, all my companions are decked out in Orange: head, chest, legs, boots, weapon. Blue belt, bracers (level 50). I am Bioch, so they have VERY good implants, and lvl 50 blue ears. All their mods are the daily reward types, and their hilts are purples bought with daily comms. So their gear is fairly decent.

Bad player does not mean bad companion. Anecdotal exaggerations make terrible forum posts. I use all my companions at different times for different things. Just because you don't know how to use Khem, doesn't make HIM bad. He is actually one of the better all around companions, he cannot heal, but if you gear him right, he is ok dps and if you gear him as a tank, he does just fine for my Sorc. I have tanked fps with him, I can solo all the dailies with him.

5 iterations of dps testing with all abilities on and using Exsang vs only physical attacks/abilities and perf mode. Exsang, 572 dps. Perf/Physical, 465 dps. Losing over 100 dps? No thanks.

Why would you turn off attacks that ignore armor and are not mitigated to do more attacks that are mitigated by armor. 1000 damage, mitigated by armor of 30% (just threw that out there, no idea what armor is on mobs), 700 damage, with perf stance you gain like 100 damage for a total of 800. You are loosing 200 damage to mitigation, even with perf stance on. Or a force attack that does 500, and isn't mitigated at all and a bleed that ticks for 300 a pop for 3 ticks. So you can do 800 or 1400. Nah, I think I will leave the elemental attacks and internal damage attacks on.

Deal, but remove FPs from PvP servers.

I did this on my sorc, never had a problem. I did this on my 'Sin, never had a problem. I am curious what the fight looks like for the people that are having problems.

Dead in seconds? Amazing how I can use my Xalek who is in blues and lesser purples and he lasts for upwards of 30 seconds to a minute against a pack of 5 non elites. In fact, I use him for regular grinding and never have to heal him until after the fight. Hell, I can take elites with him tanking and not have to heal him. You must be doing something wrong. While I agree that his SR and AbsR are borked, useless anecdotal exaggeration is useless. I still use Xalek over Khem for the simple fact that Khem charges and stands there for 2-3 seconds with his thumb up his butt before using his AoE bomb. Which annoys me FAR more than Xalek's broken tanking stats.

Repost from my own thread last week: I took a specific mob, with 125kish health and tested out each of my viable dps companions. I tried to get their mods as close to each other as I could. Dps pets: Ashara 577 dps Exsan mode Ashara 522 dps Perf mode Revel 505 dps Sniper mode Khem 400 dps in Offense mode Khem 356 dps Def stance Xalek 372 dps Off Mode Xalek 356 dps Def stance Just rough numbers and I am sure they won't mean anything to anyone, but if anyone was curious to see the anecdotal evidence of other people, there ya go. So, over a 3-4 (approx) minute fight, Exsan mode is superior to Perf mode.

Orange armor is stupid easy to get. Check the GTN, take the newbie stuff and upgrade the mods. If not, go farm it, I make 3/4 pieces of OJ gear an hour when I want to farm it. Also, its been said, but CC is your friend, use it, you will end up using it more and more as you level.
