  1. I'm not sure at this point whether I should let the hate flow through me, or stay dedicated to my cause.. as I'm not sure if I want to go Light or Dark yet.. so confused.. D:
  2. And all of the Republic / Light side players out there, this is just a test of your dedication to your cause. Can you handle it?
  3. They also have a much larger number of servers available right out of the gate as well, so that doesn't really matter. Rift launched with around 1 Million pre-orders with about 40 or so servers. From what I can tell, this game has somewhere around 3 million preorders, and there is a list of 120 servers ready to go. Numbers are obviously not exact, so any dispute with them would be perfectly fine if you know where I can find more accurate numbers.
  4. It's obvious that BioWare is doing everything intentionally to feed the hate of all the players who plan on rolling Sith. They're honestly just RPing on a massive scale. /endRP
  5. Agreed. It's something I've become used to after playing a number of MMO's on launch or headstart day. I'd personally rather fight with lag and potential multi-hour queue times than have no idea at all when I'll be able to play. But, this is the method they chose, so I'll just be keeping my phone with me waiting for my invite email. I'll just enjoy the game as soon as I can.
  6. I'm not quite sure how your post is relevant to my question, but sure.
  7. How many people would prefer the open flood gate free for all that the game would be right now if they had done that instead of the staggered invite system? I know personally I never really had a problem in previous MMO launches or pre-releases fighting off other people for the quest NPC's and such that I needed. I would be fine doing it again, as it never really made much of an impact to me. I understand why they chose to do it this way, and while I may not be completely thrilled about it, I'll be just as happy to play when I actually can play as I would be if I was playing today.
  8. Your amazing brainpower must have failed to pick up on the bold and underlined parts of the quote, that showed my post contained copious amounts of sarcasm.
  9. Obviously the game isn't officially launched yet. Everyone crying is just crying about what they feel entitled to. No one will have any advantages in any way because the game hasn't launched yet.
  10. 41 Training Points is all you'll receive until they raise the level cap in a future expansion (if that even happens at all). The Legacy 'powers' most likely will have no direct game changing effect, and will probably be more like 'social actions', though I can't be certain of that.
  11. Roommate works at Walmart as a stockboy. He said the other day that they had received a bunch of boxes with SW:TOR in them. I can't say it for a 100% fact, because he may be mistaken, or just spewing BS, but I'd bet a large number of the stores already have the items. They just aren't allowed to tell you they have it in stock until the actual release date. I know when I worked at GameStop during highschool that we would get big title releases days ahead of time, but were not permitted under any circumstances to tell people that we had them until the scheduled release date due to licensing restrictions.
