  1. Aion, Rift, Age of Conan, City of Heroes, Everquest 2, Lord of the Rings, I can keep going if you'd like. Only kid on the block, haha ok. Yes the questing is easy in the game, its almost like a tutorial 1-85. They do offer challenging content once you reach that point though, you obviously havn't gotten there. You think this game is "hard"?
  2. If its such a borefest than why is it still by far the most profitable MMO? Oh because its just your opinion and you're bashing another game for no reason. Being a hater pretty much makes your opinion useless. I think a majority of posters here, including myself, just want this game to be better at the end of the day.
  3. I asked a question a few posts above yours asking someone else this same question. We shouldn't expect new MMOs in 2011/2012 to compete with existing MMOs on the market. Is that your point? Its a lousy one.
  4. You still haven't answered my question yet. Your next point is that, since this game has voice acting and cut scenes, it doesn't need a ton of other features? I'm willing to bet a lot of people started space-baring the cut scene optional quests after a while. I watch all the class quests, but the other quests get pretty dull as you get to the higher levels. I felt the lower level ones were much more interesting.
  5. Its funny you posted this right after me. So your point is, new MMO games should not be competitive with the existing MMO market? Just trying to clear that up.
  6. First of all, excellent grammar and use of the return key (obviously trolling). Second of all, WoW was released in 2004. This game came out in 2011. Just released or not, that's a 7 year difference.
  7. Why would you click when you obviously have keybinds set, and why would you back peddle when maul has a back and side angle? Strafing makes more sense lol
  8. My 2 favorite parts were the clicking and back peddling
  9. No offense, but you obviously made up at least part of this story. "Vanilla raids" would NOT gear you up for TBC raids. The gear was on a whole different level. "Vanilla raid" gear would be the same as low level TBC EARLY questing gear. Gearing up for TBC raids (or any new content raids in general) were done through crafting (kinda) and dungeons/heroics. I do agree about being able to log in and be productive almost right away due to the LFD tool though.
  10. No one has said a single word in all the flashpoints I've joined besides "lol" occasionally after deaths and whatnot. I'm sure Bioware would *LOVE* to be in WoW's shoes honestly. They are still by and far running the most profitable MMO. Companies exist to make money, not to make sure you have a safe haven away from "jerks" on the internet. I'm here to play a game along with others, why do I care how your days going? I have a life outside the internet for that. If I don't want to chat with you, too bad, why does that mean I'm not allowed to play?
  11. I'm glad you're happy that you're an internet social butterfly, but I'm here to play a video game. I interact with people doing group/heroic quests, and flashpoints when I can actually find groups (healer, ~10 min queue at all times server) I couldn't care less about chatting about someones day or what kind of beverage they're currently drinking, I just want to play.
  12. Good post. People also don't realize that there is a large cluster of players around the same levels now since the game is still fairly new. What happens next month when a majority of players are 50 and you want to run a 20 flashpoint? What if you can't play at peak times? etc. Everyone knows a tool will be added eventually anyway.
  13. Everyone "loves" things when they're new. You've played a week, and I'm willing to bet haven't experienced the end-game (or lack there of...) Not everyone wants to level 8 characters to 50 for fun. A lot of the complaints are legit, but there's still plenty of time for the game to expand and improve.
  14. First of all, awesome typing skills. Second of all, wow didn't have tons of server crashes, only a few highly populated servers did. On launch the worst I experienced was ping spikes now and then for a few days. Keep on lying dawg.
  15. Being a jelly hater is pretty terrible too. If he had fun who cares?
  16. Hi guys. I saw during the betas there was a female gamer guild/group and a website dedicated to the group. It seems they cleared all the old posts now. Was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction?
  17. Code redemption: 12/9. Got in on second wave earlier today, no time to play though.
