Was coming here to post the same thing. I visit this game every now and then to catch up on the story and this Solo FP was such a slog to get through. All of it culminating in a final boss that I can't defeat because she summons 5 ultra strong minions that rip me and my crappy 1 influence companion to shreds. Be nice to get this thing fixed so I can finally finish it. And yeah, I realize if I grind out a bunch of gear I could (maybe) clear it but I really think it should be clearable coming fresh off of the main story like all the other solo flashpoints.

I've been wondering the same thing. I've kind of just been in "wait and see mode".

Whith my only major complaint being "I want more!" I can say yes, this is what I want. Oh yeah... and give me back my old companions.

So if I was in the middle of reinstalling the game when the patch hit and I reset my launcher, would it add the new patch to my current download? Or would "resume" just be resuming my current download and I'd need to download them separately? Just wondering because my internet isn't the fastest so if I could do it all in one chunk while I'm asleep that'd be great.

My sith warrior is going to be out for vengeance. But I think I'll have my agent bend the knee just for fun. It's not like she hasn't backstabbed people before.

I'm sure even if this game was bug free you'd still be complaining.

I wish they would've let us pre download the expansion patch over time so it wouldn't take some of us all day to even update.

This. I'm sure the story itself is written but they're probably focusing on getting the October 20th content working first.

I'm not calling for the purging of all mmo content but I do believe story is their strongsuit and it should be a priority.

Was the story for witcher 3 really that good? I bought 1 and 2 on a steam sale and couldn't really get into it. Mostly because of the controls.

I agree. I also joined the beta and launch for swtor coming off of Wow. And it felt a bit like a Wow clone at the time. I remember people even calling it Wow in space. But what always set it apart for me was the great class stories and the great companion interactions. It reminded me of my favorite Bioware game Dragon Age in that regard. But after I hit 50 on my sith warrior I soon got bored of the endgame content. At that time it felt like I really was playing Wow in space so I ended up getting bored and quit. Sure I came back every year or so but this was mostly just to check out the new expansions and see if they caught my interest. But it wasn't until the announcement of Kotfe returning the game to that Bioware story feeling with companion interactions that I decided to sub for the rewards just so I could get in a week earlier. This is the longest I've been subbed to ToR in a while. And if Bioware can distinguish this game even more from World of Warcraft and stick with what they do best (story) they'll have me constantly coming back for more.

+1 For this. I came off my sith warrior story at launch and I felt underwhelmed at the story content afterwards.

Yeah, that's the one I'm interested in. The devs wouldn't talk about it in the last livestream and they said they'd talk about it at a later date.

Well, bioware did just make the game easier on lower end rigs with the last update I believe. If you want to reduce lag the shadows are the first thing I'd decrease.

I watched the stream and I'm pretty sure it's once you begin the kotfe story it auto completes everything up to that point so you can't go back. But you could still earn the badge in 4.0 as long as you meet the requirements (Doing all 3 story chapters 1-50 with all the classes) before activating the kotfe story. You also need to keep in mind that auto-completed stories don't count towards the badge including the level 60's we get for free. At least that's what I gathered.
