  1. So I recently returned to TOR after leaving shortly after launch. I was pretty disappointed with the game a few years back, and figured I would never return...but then I saw the new KOTFE trailer. After watching that masterpiece I was literally moved to start playing the game again. I finished my sw and trooper storylines and really enjoyed the 12xp perk. I'm working on my BH now and looking at some of the new content, I have to wonder if this game is going in a new and potentially amazing direction? I felt like the game had a bit of an identity crisis when it first released as a single player story/ mmo, and focused on the mmo side too much. I know it seems odd to say an MMO was focusing too much on the multiplayer, but let me explain. WoW is the paradigm that most of us view mmo' through, and SWTOR certainly fell victim to this initially. Open areas with mindless clusters of mobs that did very little to feel like more than a theme park full of punching bags. But now it appears we may have something different. A game that focuses primarily on amazing stories with multiplayer as a desirable, but not mandatory option. The solo content(beyond just the storyline) appears to point to that. I for one would love to pay for new TOR story with the continued story as a reason to keep subscribing.
  2. It would appear we're getting closer with the new cartel cannon. I hope part of the "significant graphical improvement" in 2.3 iterate on this. It would make the class feel much more epic.
  3. Thanks for the info, I'll try and find them.
  4. Oh yeah, is there any way to get the old top tier items(or at least the look)? I love the look of the original tionese gear on the trooper.
  5. I don't know if i'd say never. I just came back from a 1 year hiatus and am really liking some of the changes...just hoping for more. This game really is awesome, it just lacks some polish in a few areas that I think would do a lot to recruit more players. I really like the cosmetic options in the cash shop and had no reservations about spending a few bucks for the eliminator set for my sith. I see a ton of potential, these just need to work on some things...namely the battle effects to start:)
  6. Am I the only one that finds this supremely disappointing after watching the cinematic? I mean it was a minigun in the trailer, but in the game it just has a weak fire rate even with full auto. Any chance we could get this animation iterated on in the future
