  1. When I saw this I just shook my head. I see no point in paying extra for a f2p game. Just enjoy the free content and move on. Don't be afraid to return that $120 in subscriptions fees back to me when you get the chance. I accept checks, money orders and credit. I guess I will go back to wow and play panda express because it is the only game in town now. At least now I can play this GW2 and WoW for 15 bucks a month. Truly disappointed. Why didn't you guys ask EA for some of that Madden money to keep you afloat?
  2. 1.) Top down shooter space missions that support up to 16 players for space mission OPs, FPs, and Heroic missions. (Top down because the current star fox format will not work) 2.) Shorter load times 3.) I want my companion to do missions for my alt from my Alts companion mission screen and I want the reward from that mission sent to my alt. 4.) I want the PVE LFG tool to drop you off were you ported from after completeing a FP or OP like the PVP LFG tool does. 5,) NPCs that acknowledge that you have completed your story missions.
  3. They made perks so that you could quik travel to frequently traveled areas/worlds Which should drop you down to one or two load screens instead of six or eight. THIS DOES NOT FIX THE PROBLEM but it is the only visable action that they have taken about the issue. So if you have an extra 100k credits laying around for perks you can put them on the toons that need to go from place to place.
  4. Are there any plans to make space missions multiplayer?
  5. I think you have to many abilities on your hot bars. Personally I have all of my abilities hot keyed to a bar an a half. ( not sure if you click or use hot keys) The only things that I have on my third hot bar is my fastest mount, 2 types of med packs, stealth buttons and stealth cc for toons that use them, buffs, legacy moment and legacy spell, social ability, and the hutt ball. The hutt ball is definitely a waste of space and the social ability also. everything else is pretty situational. My BH actually has more bar space than my SI since he can't stealth so I am not sure why you have so many things on your bars. Sounds more like user error to me.
  6. The game has gotten alot better since 1.3. Now you can actually play with other people!! I am not the biggest starwars fan, I have watched all of the movies but beyond that not really in to it. From my perspective as a "casual" Starwars fan the game does feel like the movies about 80% of the time. What bogs it down is typical game stuff that is unavoidable. But everything from Revan to sand people is in the game which is cool and since they added a new feature that optimizes your graphics to your comp the game should run fine now. As far as the game being as bad as people on you tube are saying I would suggest giving 1.3 a chance since it just came out a few weeks ago. 1.3 has made the game truely feel like an mmo instead of just a solo game with a few multiplayer features. Also from what i have seen on youtube and such there comments are a little dated since they fixed and added alot of ease of use features in 1.3. Over all I toughed it out for 6 months so far and I think the game is finally headed in the right direction. Like all mmos there is always room for improvement but about half of the ground work is done at this point and it is starting to shine.
  7. In my experience I have found it hard to sell anything with out an augment slot. So far it takes me 15 to 20 trys to get something to crit. Now with people being able to buy the augment slots I can sell those other 14 pieces of gear that I made that no one wanted before since they can just augment them on there own. Secondly Synthweaving will be able to make augments so I will be able to sell those as well. Furthermore I think this change will open the market for lower lvl orange gear.
  8. He basically plays like an assassin tank . I am sure you have seen assassin players in the game tanking things. They are capable and Xalek is capable.
  9. This is why Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. But if they answer my dreams and make Yoda playable... By By
  10. LOL As a player with 2 tanks (50 Assasin and 30 something BH) I run alot of Flash Points and I enjoy them all. But I don't want to watch the same cut scenes over and over again. especially when I normally end up tanking BT 3 to 4 times in a row so that Guildies, PUGs and myself can get the weekly/daily done or get some social points.
  11. This worked!! I was able to see all the screen shots I have taken since I have been playing thank you.
  12. I press the Print Screen button but I do not know were the screen shot is going on my computer. do I have to make a folder?
  13. LOWER LOAD TIMES NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Travelling takes forever and a day due to loading almost everything Set up a teleport system or something so that you only have to load once to get to a planet. Why is there a load for entering my ship, exiting my ship, getting to the space doc of a planet, exiting the space doc of a planet and yet another load for going to a certain area of a planet? This leads to 10 MINUTE travel times to go from fleet to any place else and even more time if you don't skip the cut scenes. Suggestion: Allow quick travel to planets that you have already visited with NO COOLDOWN!!! Problem solved
  14. If BioWare can make stories for all of the classes they currently have I am sure they could make some sort of back story for the Yoda race. They could even throw in some playable flashback missions. Plus KOTOR had some different color Yodas walking around. The brand has been out there over thirty years Lucas needs to loosen the reigns on Yoda!!!
  15. One of the most iconic characters in Starwars is Yoda. Why is his race not included as an option? It would surely fill the desire of players that want to play short characters. Maybe they will include some new races in the next expansion.
  16. Did you ever think that maybe the other guy/girl feels the same way about that name? It is not their fault that you had the misfortune of a name change due to BW's miss handling of servers at the begining.
  17. Single player space missions? I think this game was made for you OP and the rest of us are wrong.
  18. I am so happy to hear that. I can't wait until they make my server available to transfer!!
  19. You should be fine for hard modes If you are heals you should be fine for ops as well I think op bosses have 10% defense so you may need some accuracy to make up for that if you are dps or tank. I don't remember if pvp gear has that stat. Special attacks such as force moves are already at 100% so I don't think you need extra accuracy for that. hope that helps
  20. consider your self lucky. My server regularly has 30 or so people on a friday night.
  21. Sounds like you were doing a heroic quest at lvl 8 solo or you were on your way to khem val. I just stealthed past most things while lvling but sounds like you found your niche in the bounty hunter. GRATS!!
  22. I would like to see all space missions turned in to top down multiplayer shooters that lead to space mission flash points and ops (16 player space missions = nuts) My character should have the ability to to craft things without the help of a companion. At least add this feature to biochem. It would be nice to ask someone for a med pack and not have to wait 20 minutes. all servers included in pvp lfg and pve lfg. 1.3 will take care of prime time grouping but those of us that have to play during off peak hours will still be waiting for hours to find groups. Why not expand the pool to all servers? NPCs that recognize that I am a member of the dark counsel and what ever the other classes receive when they finish there story. a better gearing system at endgame.
  23. I disagree Companies make games to make money . 8 million people paying 15 bucks a month is better than a million hard core players paying 15 bucks a month. Now days with the cost associated with making a game and getting it out there you need a lot of people to buy it and play it to keep it going. Secondly video games are not a product that people actually need. For example people need food so if it comes down to someone buying this game or any game in general or going hungry I think the choice is obvious and with so many other options for entertainment The maker of a video game has to make there market as broad as possible which includes people that casually play video games. Thirdly I disagree with your view of casual gamers as being people that "They are usually not very skilled or don't feel like putting the time in the hardcore players do to get super rare stuff. " In my opinion most casual gamers are adults that have to go to work and maybe deal with a family or school what ever the case may be but in general people that something in there life that prevents them from playing up to 8 consecutive hours a day. This may lead to a lack of skill but on the other hand would you not want that player at all because they don't have a job or have troubles in there life that lead to them being unable to play at all? "When I first started playing MMOs people LOVED difficult tasks. They loved having a boss that was nearly impossible to beat." I think casual gamers enjoy that aspect of gaming as well but just don't have the free time to down that boss. WOW has done alot of things to allow the casual gamer that wants to do those things have the chance by allowing the player to pick up were they left off in a raid if they had to leave and adjusting there dungeons to allow an average run take an hour or so. Also allowing different raid difficulties with different rewards. None of those features affect the hard core player. Further more MMOs are not the only type game to adjust to the more casual player. Remember when you had to beat a console game in one sitting on the Nintendo? Now days there are check points and game saves galore in console games. Does that mean that the games are dumbed down for the casual audience? I don't think so. Check this interview out . It basically a guy that wants a more hard core and realistic game and the guy that made the game is trying to tell him why he made the game more "casual friendly" "MMOs are becoming a lot closer to single player games with multiplayer features." I disagree with this as well I think SWTOR is the solo game with multiplayer features and something like WOW is still an MMO. Take it easy
