  1. **Update** One last thing I tried worked. /stuck to kill yourself DO NOT choose to resurrect Alt F4 to close the game. Load back in already dead and out of combat. Hope this helps others.
  2. Doing the Seeker droid Mission on a space station. I need to kill patient zero but fell off and died. Came back to med bay outside of the instance stuck in permanent combat. I can't go anywhere other than the starting flight bay. I can't logout, travel, quit without alt f4 or enter the instance to kill anything. There are no enemies for me to kill. /stuck just kills me, I picked the probe droid and the med bay option still in combat. I tried to resent the mission. Still in combat. I abandoned the mission. Still in combat. I can't log into any other character as it says this one is still online after I alt f4
  3. So you use the plasma cell and now miss out on ammo regeneration from cell generator, and the 8% elemental and internal damage he was going for. If you think this spec has Ion pulse and pulse cannon as it's best attack then you are failing your damage big time unless you go with this spec http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#801hMhZMsMrRrfkzsZb.1 NOW you can say they are your bread and butter because you don't give up 9% aim 30% crit damage and 6% fire damage and 8% elemental internal since you want to use plasma cell... Broken specs are broken and EVERY spec will work in PvE even 0/0/0. It just won't be the most efficient. His/your spec makes many things very mediocre instead of a few things powerful.
  4. Why are people that are not lvl 50 allowed to post in the forums. You do notice a little de-buff on your targets in pvp that lowers healing received by 30%??? 10-49 pvp is fine for tanks and dps. Nobody has expertise and they get no negative effects on them at all. They are = 1:1 in pvp and will always be = to each other as long as they keep the same amount of expertise. But healers not having expertise means we don't get the + healing to counter that -30% healing de-buff. Healers benefit much more from expertise in pvp than anyone. Once you start closing the gap on that 30% de-buff you will see how truly annoying healers can be, especially operatives with there hots now that the tree is fixed.
  5. Broken build. Doesn't work. You gave up 15% damage to your main spam attack HIB and 30% crit damage bonus. The 25% chance to always crit is not worth this damage you give up since you should already have a 40% crit or higher with your HIB. HIB is not elemental or internal damage so it gets none of that 8% you speak of and gut is CRAP for damage compared to the slow/snare and more damage you give up from plasma cell. Combat tactics is a horrible talent for ANY build with the 2 attacks that are meant to proc it. one is a 9sec cd and one can be spamed but is a bad idea because the internal damage is the best part of its damage so it should be allowed its full 15sec duration. It's is not proc'd every HIB unless you spam GUT and that's a BAD move. End result is fail. sorry been tested.
  6. This is the Fix to end all discussion. The vendor needs to let you trade in 4 BM boxes for 1 token. IF you are scared and don't want to play the odds. You can give up your chance of getting 4,3,2 or in many cases 0 tokens. So resist the urge to open those boxes and just save four of them go to the vendor and trade 4 boxes in on your 1 guaranteed token. This is how you shut up the unlucky and say hey look it is exactly 25%... the gamblers will gamble and the complainers will have an out. Problem solved. End thread.
  7. I'm a BH pvp tank and I have a lethal sniper. Monday was a holiday so I spent the day Pvp'ing. It took 27 games to get my 6 wins on the two of them. They are both fairly new working on gear about 290-300 expertise. Damage really means nothing but on my sniper I do my job of doting capers and protecting objectives. Always over 250k damage (much more in void star) but not much over that when I'm focused on objectives. I know with my gear I should be about middle of the pack or lower but I'm always top 3 sadly. So, yesterday my sorc friend and I get on the same time about 6pm. We start our WZ's to do the daily. He is always top healer on our team with 350-390k healing. I go on my BH and end up with over 100k protection and 100k damage and 10medals and we still get 3 capped on Alderan. We score better than the opposing team and still lost 17 WZ in a row. It's now 9pm. This is not an exaggeration. 17 with a tank and healer to support these awful teams. My taunts always on cd. My guard getting bounced around on targets that are under fire. Finally our 18th game we get a huttball and we start capping the ball over and over. We got 4scores then they score one. I score our 5th goal and 4 players from our team DC including me disconnect. Straight to the character select screen. I woke up the neighbors with the screams that ensued. Must punch babies, holding a puppy, holding a kitten, holding a baby turtle. Dailies should not take more than one day to complete. There needs to be a tracking system for individuals and you need to reach a certain amount of medals or games that will also get you your daily like 50 medals or something would take most people 6-10 games. It would still be faster to get 3 wins for those that win every game. But for the people that are trying there *** off they can still finish a daily in under a week with 20 losses in a *********** row. I'm not a fan of welfare loot but holy *********** **** balls I worked my *** off yesterday and got ZERO wins. We got so few commendations for the 20 games from loosing them all I didn't get the required 800 tokens to even buy a single bag.
  8. Everyone runs out of orbital strike almost before the first tick so a fourth tick doesn't help me at all. I can't ever remember wishing I could interrupt someone that was out of range of my tech attacks since it's while dps'ing someone I will use my interrupt and they will already be in range. Only snipers would be nice to stop and they are immune in cover anyways. Take down would be useful but not many people can get out of my 35y range as it is. I can't see 5y adding much to me killing them. 4seconds of zero damage from all melee and ranged weapon attacks is pretty strong. And can be a life saver. <-- that's a period. 5 energy Is the single best set bonus for any of these sets hands down. Especially as a sniper. We don't get StimBoost so the more energy we have the longer play time we get in the full regeneration area. With this set I have 115 energy and make it so much easier to use cull and not dip under the 5 energy regeneration area. This set is amazing. I use all four and the sniper head slot.
  9. I can tell you now at 28 aim that is nowhere near BIS. Mine is a green and has over 50 aim with crit and accuracy and endurance. I'll be RE'ing I can imagine much higher numbers especially when I crit the aug version.
  10. 1) There needs to be a system in pace in Huttball to prevent farming with 5/0 scores and over 10min left in the game. Nobody wants to be cattle and when they add a penalty for leaving we will be force to jump off the cliff to die before we hit the ground, or leave and not play for 15min. 2) Some type of behind the scenes gear scoring should take place. I did a WZ where the other team had zero deaths. Our highest damage done was under ~30k. I don't care if I play a pre-made but not when one team has 20k hp vs the other teams 10k hp. 3)There should be no penalty for leaving WZ. I know they didn't add it yet but they will. You want people in fighting with you that WANT to be there. Let them leave and let someone else take there place that wants to be there. I only have ever left if my friend and I miss Q. I stay to the end of obviously loosing games for the cash and prizes, and the experience. 3) Side gun turrets at Alderan are ridiculous. 2 people can solo prevent a cap on the sides vs 3-4 people. Dots could make one person solo defend dot dot dot die dot dot dot die... the side turrets are not needed at all run there from the middle and defend accordingly. Killing the same people 4+ times during one attack... how was this over looked. 3) I'm not sure if sorc/sage are OP or everyone is UP. 1: 3 sec channel does way to many benefits for those guys. And that is what replaces the free attack. Everyone else is doing 2 GCD's of main hand attack to manage resources with weapons for piss poor damage and they get a basically free nuke that procs all kinds of death and destruction with ZERO resource management. I think some Palpatine lover got carried away when working on this class and couldn't see past there own ***** to realize the problem with this "free" attack. Lucky for sage they got to be a mirror class...

  12. QFT I murder mercs all day on my sniper. I can kill them in marks, lethal engineer, and my favorite full lethality. Entrench, distraction shot, flash bang, shatter shot > merc.
  13. So all they need to do is make it so you can't see the enemy players total hp pool. It should just be a % not a total. That would stop people from tabbing and frothing at the mouth when they see a 11k hp lvl 50 and they would actually do the objectives and kill players in a priority instead of hunting down the noobs to pad there egos on the charts. You shouldn't know how bad someones gear is where is the challenge or fun in that. I like the mystery of attacking someone and not knowing if I can stop there face in with half a rotation. There is zero excitement without mystery. Unless your a huge ***** and get off on super easy kills. Then there might be medication for that or possible therapy, but no patch will help you.

  15. Efficient engineering could easily be moved and should be moved to inventive interrogation. You have 2 trees worth of energy returns. You will be fine without wasting 2 points just to save 4 energy every 18 and 30 seconds. The only other option would be losing damage on your cull or crit on your call (witch I'm not a fan of) but you could get both slows by doing this and then dropping Steady shots or razor rounds. Razor rounds would be easier to make up for with gear. This being exactly the spec I posted earlier with the optional points in place.

The last four points unused are 100% preference and highly situational There are 2 talents in the lower tiers that can be moved: Engineer's Tool Belt > Vitality Serum (for more survivability and less aoe spam) I like vitality serum myself but Void Star rocks with 3 sec frags and great synergy with 2 of your floater talents into Experimental Explosives and Deadly Directive > Razor Edge (slower cast on cull/SoS for more damage on melee) I go alacrity i buff cull all day long before anything. if I'm cutting someone that means I'm too close and probably going to die run don't cut. Don't get calculated pursuit you should never be using snipe. And how annoying is it to find a spot for snipe on your non cover bar!? AMIRITE? good luck this spec blows peoples faces off even though I prefer my 2/8/31 full lethality build you could probably kill me with this spec with all it's burst.
  17. 1. The duration is good if they are LoS'ing you. You dot dot then WB. You can't cull but they will take more damage from just dots at least it is something. 2. What was pointed out Interrogation Probe is LESS damage as you will use 2 WB inside of the single Interrogation probe. If you use WB on cd on high HP targets over a long fight it will be much more damage. Especially if your I.P. keeps getting dispelled... I already have to worry about 2 of my damage abilities being removed I don't need a third even longer cd one. Like you said you can get WB's benefit in 5sec. 3. You've seen what you can do with dot, dot, wb, cull. If wb was 30% all 15 sec no charges it would be insanely OP. 3. The above poster pointed out the best reason to get I.P. is the 18sec slow not the mitigate-able damage. I love that but in practice prefer a slow I can repeat every 12 seconds over 18. I know you can get them both which is even better, just saying if I had to choose. 4. I have to agree with the lethal engineering build, just not his build with just getting the I.P. with only 15% slow and no cluster bombs!!! Edit: a. On a side note I feel like I'm not doing it right unless I shatter shot before I use I.P. to get the most out of it. It must be my OCD. So not having it takes the pressure off me of really ever using it for myself. I'll still use SS for my team but I don't feel I need it for myself unless i really want someone dead in one rotation.
  18. Even at 18 sec cool down on I.P. You could squeeze in 2 WB in that time and have 20 charges worth of damage eaten up by dots and Cull before you cast your second I.P. And lets not forget I.P. is energy damage that is mitigated by armor while your WB is buffing damage that is unstoppable. Damage wise WB is the clear winner, burst wise it's a clear winner, ease of use I.P. wins for the lazy man! I would honestly not go that far into engineering without getting all 3 cluster bombs AND I.P. To make up for losing Hold your ground devouring microbes and WB. My 2 cents.
  19. Lethality looks like a tree in my class to me, so if I learn how to use it (all of it) then I think that counts as learning my class. I've took the advice here to learn from. The thing is you don't have to only dot and run. I use Cull on cool down. The misconception is it's expensive because 30 seems high. But it returns energy from internal crits too because they count as poison and you have regen while casting. The deficit is actually on average ~ 15 or less to cast cull and it does such impressive damage Its worth it. I've been getting quite a few solo kills with this build even though the OP said try not to. That is on top of upping my total damage done and increasing my survivability to live long enough to up my objective points and help my team much more. You basically have 10 seconds to kill me. If I have time for my second cull to hit you... Your dead. All possible safely entrenched in cover if you so choose lol.
  20. SoS hits 4 times just fyi. It hits instantly then 3 more shots every second for 3 seconds. That way you actually have 4 chances to proc all 4 stacks of electrified rail gun.
  21. #1 is wrong. Snipers stun is 45sec cd and most people get slip away putting it at 30sec cd with a 4 sec 30% sprint... you have seen this cool website called torhead.com? Use it since it's obvious you don't have the game yet. #2 is questionable since I'm lethality so i'm bouncing around all over. I cast for one ability and I can drop to cover to make me immune to interrupts and push back, or pop entrench if i need to guarantee it to land. #3 is dead wrong. Cover of any type shield or hard cover gives 20% ranged defense Always. now if your in hard cover and the target is in front of you you take ZERO damage while not attacking. they can only have a chance to attack you if you attack them, and then you still get your 20% ranged defense. which in this game defense is avoidance, no matter if you call it dodge or deflect it all means you missed. #3.2 Now if cover is skilled then, it could add 30% absorb for the next 3 attacks every 6 seconds. it could add 6% straight damage reduction all the time as well Nothing you said is correct. Why did you even post?

  23. you have the same 1.5 sec GCD. How do you figure. And the lines you quoted was pitting a leathality sniper vs a tank. Merc's don't tank...
  24. You know that DoT stands for Damage over Time right? How is: "Deploys a plasma drone over the target area that deals 1035 elemental damage over 18 seconds to up to 3 enemies within 5 meters." That's text book DoT. Not a mobile one but still VERY MUCH at DoT....
