  2. sorc healer is absolutely fine but you have to be pretty good to be on par with operatives, operatives are easier to be good at thats why everyone thinks theyre OP, but i have seen good sorcs outheal/match operatives - although its rare mercs are pretty tanky but could use a bit more interrupt immunity or one more instant heal
  3. scoundrel healers are impossible to kill because most dps are mouth breathers
  4. Played an arena yesterday. Our team had 1 healer (me) and 3 dps Enemy team had 2 healers (both scoundrels) and 2 dps my team won, 1st round we killed one of the healers within 10 seconds of engagement. l2p

Lol, smash is NOT effective UNLESS, YOU STACK ON TOP OF EACH OTHER, seriously, spread the F out and you won't die to smash it's not hard, also, scoundrel healers are pretty easy to kill, all you need is competent dps. Complimentary pro tip for killing scoperative healers: Once their shield probe and evasion are blown (shield probe takes like 2 abilities to take down, evasion only lasts 3 - 4 seconds), they have no defensive cooldowns except escape cloak, put dots on them at that point to prevent them escaping, their 2 - 4 k surgical probes will not keep them alive when being focused if you seperate him and their tank, so they will have to use their kolto injection to heal themself, which is a 2.5 second cast, hilariously easy to interrupt, operative has no interrupt immunity either, and if you are really really bad and let them cast their kolto injection it still uses 1/4 of their energy, once they get to 30% hp, hard stun and burn, gg, pretty simple really The team I ran with when arenas went out on PTS had a deception sin, pt dps, pt tank and a sorc healer, we won 20 and lost 0 with that comp, and we fought teams with scoundrel healers and smash monkeys on their side, it wasn't even close
  6. It was nerfed because its 2 button rotation was stupidly OP and that's why you and 99% of other powertechs are still crying about it, AP is an amazing spec, deal with it.

  8. I agree, him saying that smash is only a 2 button rotation is arrogant, everyone knows it's 3 buttons. Seriously, I have no problem with smash and don't think it needs nerfed, but never compare the skill level required of other classes to smash.

Killing healer operatives is hilariously easy with an AP PT, carnage marauder, or deception sin and lethality operative, just gotta keep on them and hard stun when they get to 30% HP, also keep them slowed, will stop them rolling away any great distance, other than that, just do your rotation well lol
  10. My main is an operative. I love lethality, it has very good sustained damage, and 3 culls in a row are devastating, the free kolto infusion from roll is also very good. Concealment is also very good at bursting when you do it right. HOWEVER, deception assassin does the same thing and is even better.   11. I'm tried of people running around with matrix cube, and pve armorings to be best in slot for PVP, I shouldn't have to do pve to be BiS in pvp, fix this and simply don't bolster arenas - bolster has been broken from the start and is still abused. thanks

  14. in most cases if you get the opener on an assassin you should be able to kill them fairly easily, you have just as much burst as they do except you're far squishier - try popping shield probe before they come out of your stun, when u take some dmg cc and heal up
  15. 1.> Hidden strike should be auto crit 2.> Increase concealment operative's energy pool by 50 energy - this is the only way concealment operative will ever be viable in group fights so it can actually off heal and have more sustained damage - this will also stop healers from being OP if this is one of the top tier things in concealment tree, and lethality energy is no problem. Yes, concealment energy management is a lot better since 2.0, but in a group fight you're still gonna run out fairly quickly.

The only way you're gonna beat an assassin in concealment is by pulling some fancy tactics like sapping them and dropping an orbital on them, then proceding to hidden strike the exact moment orbital hits them, root them and roll away (or sneak for 50% movement increase) and heal whatever damage you take
  17. Bollocks. R'lee'ermy on the bastion has done well over 1.6 million damage in regs in AP (hes a powertech - same thing as tactics vanguard). Full AP/Tactics damage is amazing, but hybrid can pull 700k dmg in a normal voidstar and 400k prot

  19. If operative roll gets a cooldown and is made to reset the ball when used, then make force charge and intercede reset the ball, and have a max range of 12 metres
  20. When you jump it looks as if your weapons are equipped Chat panel won't fade. You'd think if you have to take an extra hour for maintenance you'd be actually checking to see if the patch works.

  23. Operative healers are often mistaken for having no energy management issues. Yes you can spam kolto probe and surgical probe, both of which are very small heals - however if someone is getting focused and you need to keep them alive that is when you will either consider running into energy management problems or letting them die - a sorceror is far superior at keeping a single target up. Operative heals are topping people up.
