  1. lol...oh noes there are mean people in the world...bioware should please design the game to eliminate every way that someone can use to grief...they did that already they are called single player offline games....
  2. your password should work just fine but they cant protect your account from the evil **** virus/keylogger so they offer you some extra protection. If you know how to go on the internetz and not get those things you will prolly be ok if not pay for the extra protection.
  3. This...WoW was awesome for a long time. If you like RPG's then you should definately try it. It is completely dumbed down at this point though. I love me some Swtor too though. The fully acted story lines alone are better than alot of the things WoW did right. Im just glad I dont have any problems with my game. I only have some lag in fleet but that is to be expected since it is such a big hub.
  4. I think your really stupid if you think BW changed it because someone complained on a forum...lol and they havent even replied to the "OH NOES I cant make money" posts? Bowing down to a group on a forum is like negotiationg with terrorists. If you do it once you lose and better be prepared for everyone who doesnt like something to follow that path.
  5. Some make good points in this thread and all the others but they get lost in all the posts that say "im not rich anymore so the game is broke I cancelled my sub", " Im not rich and if I get creds again I wont buy anything off the GTN so take that" , "sure I was making tons of money slicing but you dont get it, 400k creds is nothing at higher levels." I think this debate makes it easy to see the players who just want a reasonable crew skill that makes them money without investing alot of crafting time and those who will be buying gold so they can be rich again. The nerf seems to be a big one but slicing was way out of whack for a gathering skill IMO.
  6. I just know that I have played MMO's since UO and known plenty of gold buyers and never knew one who got caught. I also dont think I have ever seen a mechanic that seemed so perfect for the gold farmers. They could send out companions and then farm low level mobs and nodes and rake it in. I dont remember seeing gold sellers in a game so quick as they were here.
  7. unfortunatly gold sellers and their customers hardly ever get caught it seems. Pretty hard to prove what accounts are actually tied to gold sellers. Its tough to say that the gold in an ingame inbox was paid for with real money too.
  8. no...because im sure the gold farmers who are already in the game have tons of slicing credits stockpiled that will last a long time since they could make about 1 million creds every few days without even having to run around in the game world.
  9. It was broken...how do you think the gold farmers who are already in the game got their "mad profits"?
  10. All the "this ruined the game" crap is funny. Everyone knew that the slicing nerf was coming. Ive even seen people discussing that it had to be a bug because they were making so much money. Im sure the gold sellers make a huge stockpile of credits by now. Too bad BW made it so easy that they could be selling the easy creds in less than a week after retail release.
  11. You're new to the internet then? Welcome...
  12. and you are crying about it before you are even actually paying to play the game. So in a sense you are b.....in at the mechanic for not fixing the car while he is still getting his tools together
  13. lol...a whole 29 levels huh? That is just toooooo much to have to do again....
  14. I think it was a good idea but since i ordered my game on 7/22, and wasnt able to get a code from Gamestop until Dec 12, I think it was a failure. May not be biowares fault but they did choose to go this route knowing that other games have had issues with retailers giving out the codes.
