  1. So while trying to fix the dreaded quick play issue I killed off the streaming client, but I'm looking at 12+ hours for download because the download server has very low badnwidth. Is it possible at all to re-enable to streaming client? I've tried deleting all traces of SWTOR and bitraider from my system, but when I re-install the launcher it now won't re-install bitraider or re-enable the streaming client. Is the going to the non-streaming client a permanent one way transition?
  2. Beyond broken at this point. nuked the bitraider version, realized it will take 8-12 hours to download via the old way because the download server has no bandwidth, can't get bitraider working again, the launcher will not revert back to ST even with a complete clean install of SWTOR, something in the registry is preventing the streaming client from ever working again?
  3. None of these fixes seem to be permanent, the bitraider bug has been around for over 5 years, EA simply doesn't have any desire to fix it.
  4. It's been a month since the 6.1.2 patch dropped, the Quick play issue still persists. I did a clean re-install of SWTOR and only was able to log in once before the quick play issue returned. The "bit raider fix" doesn't work. I will be unsubbing until you resolve this issue.
  5. Hood toggle would be nice, especially on the Zildrog set since the hood is huge without the helmet that goes with it.
  6. Nothing has changed, other than crit went from meh, to amazing
  7. I love the look of the Herald of Zildrog set, but would love to see an option to have the hood up or down. Currently the only way to have the hood down is to wear a helmet that covers the top of the head (except for the Herald of Zildrog helmet). Partial helmets like the lower facemasks don't put the hood down.
  8. Probably a bug, open a ticket. On my VG I recall that it was Jorgan who got injured, but he came back after a bit.
  9. Had the same issue on my female merc, should never have gotten it because my affection with Mako was maxed before the expansion. Went and started KOTFE storyline anyway, still have not seen a single mission line to get my old comps back.
  10. Agreed, the tuning on tacs is stupid right now. Get 2 or more lowbies and they become impossible wipe fests. Example of how stupid it is right now. Pulled Tac Blood Hunt with a group consisting of 65 dps merc with 216 gear (me), 65 merc heals with 208 gear, 60 mara with 186/190 gear and a 58 dps sorc with 178 gear. We could not get past Jos & Valk, the incoming dps in the 3rd phase was more than the healer + kolto dispensers could heal through, Jos's maul ability would instakill my merc even with my DCDs up and I was the least squishy member of the group.
  11. I think in most cases IO/AS are not expected to AOE adds, they just continue to single target and DoT spread if an opportunity presents itself. Walkers is one of those fights were Arsenal/Gunnery probably outperforms IO/AS due to the frequent target swaps. Malaphar/Sparky are easy enough that unless your group has more than one IO/AS there shouldn't be much of an issue leaving them on the boss.
  12. I've personally found the Hotwired rotation easier to remember and doesn't require as much pre-planning for heat ramping (though it may be slightly less forgiving if you get a little too aggressive).
  13. Arsenal is much easier, and generally performs better for leveling, dailies and flashpoints. IO can push significantly higher dps on an ops boss, but not until you get the heat ramping phase of the rotation absolutely perfect. The heat neutral rotation does slightly less dps than Arsenal. In actual ops the dps difference isn't as huge as it is on the dummy since it's nearly impossible to get perfect heat ramping phases due to movement (though in many ways heat management is easier because of it) and Arsenal can do nearly it's full potential even in movement heavy fights.
  14. Arsenal/Gunnery should have zero auto attacks in the rotation. The top parses are running around 35apm, no clue how much alacrity they were using if any. If anything I would think that alacrity would hurt Arsenal by delaying barrage procs (you would get a lot more situations where you need to hardcast 3x TMs instead of the usual 2x TMs to proc barrage). Next question is, how much of a dps impact is 33apm vs 35apm as compared to not having set bonuses, or using the crit heavy comms gear?
  15. So instead of leaving the exploit in the game and threatening to banhammer anyone who sells the particular item why not actually FIX the exploit even if you have to cause some additional downtime. Your method of addressing exploits (i.e. not pushing hotfixes or emergency patching to remove them asap, and sometimes putting off fixing them until the next major patching cycle) reflects poorly on BW as a company.
