It is a mmo. Mmo are glorified chat rooms. For me swtor glory days ended when early acces ended. To many loligagers and people who didnt give a **** about grouping up joined the game. I still enjoy swtor but the sheer amount of solo players ruins the mmo part.

By the time eagames shut's down swtor they will already have fineshed off bioware for not making them enought money. So long answer short: Bioware will be death and eagames will continue to feed on game companies like the parasite they are.

A good read and i agree THE FORCE can do whatever it wants. I however am getting very anoyed with the large amount of over the top force users. I mean if the emperor can achieve inmortality true willpower alone(and perhaps a ******** of miliclorians) who says others cant do the same? Or how darth nox binds spirits making him probley even stronger then the emperor. Bring back the time when jedi and sith where still mortals please and not dimigods.

This has bin on my mind for some time. And i like some other people's thoughts on the mather. It seem to be that in the extended universe the force is becoming more like magic(resurection, everlasting life, possesion etc) While all nicly explained it does seem to move more and more away from all-binding energie and becoming more plot magic. For example: the sith emperor, He is able to jump bodies, kill a entire planet to become inmortal(my theory is that he is still mortal just got alot of life energie from drianing a planet of life and it will take several thousend years for him to die, unless he feeds on more(lets say a entire galaxie)) able to mind control strong willed people at ease. Now i dont know about you but that sounds alot like necromancy to me. To me what makes the force alot more interesting then magic is that it HAD rules. It wasnt able to break the laws of nature just bend them. Example: A force user might be able to force jump on a clif or the second floor but never on a entire mountian/building(something jaden korr keeps doing) Or only mind trick the weak willed(not strong willed people) Or how darth nillus was able to "feed" on a entire world(again necromancy:blood magic) yet befor the extended universe we need thing's like the death star to blow up a entire world(let me put it very clearly darth nillus was able to kill millions of lifeforms(plants animels people) in a single force attack and he wasnt even that strong in comparision to many other sith). Is it just me seeing thing's that arent there. Or is the force becoming magic?

What roleplay? In all the time i have bin playing swtor i roleplayed exactly once. You cant kill what isnt there to begin with. That said accauly a dark nillues or darth ravan mask has some interesting roleplay abilities. Aslong you ignore the idiots ruining your roleplaying. Example: jedi find mask of darth nilues and goes insane. Or a revanite finds the mask of darth revan and goes all golem on it. It is our mask ours mask they stole our mask our darling mask. It isnt really a issu. now the fact we still cant sit in canatina's is a rp issu.

Let me start by saying the main reson i hate any mmo is because i end up soloing most of the time. It is not that i cant find a group but i find most people either play with friends(no idea what that is) or simple dont want to group DESPITE doing the exact same quests. Now i am polite helpfull kind and nice and still i end up soloing simply because i got alot more time then most people i meet. So how can i make sure i can find a group to do normal quest's with without ending up soloing again?

No. I find the idea of playing an gender i am not in real life...pointless. I got other ways too look at hot wemon.

Let me say this first: I love swtor it is the first mmorpg that i played that accauly have the rpg parts. Now i played many wannbie mmo's and only 3 mmo are worth playing. Eve online, wow, swtor. I would have added guild wars but i dont consider it a mmo.(more a coop game then mmo) Now my problems with mmo lies in there social part. For me chating about everyday things is so boring it makes me want to cut my eye's out so i cant read it anymore. While mmo's have everything to make the game fun as a group(this counts double for swtor) I and many other end up soloing not because we cant get parties or are anti social but simple because we dont have a common goal. This is where my hate for mmo's come's into play. When i go online i do so because i want to play with people. If i want to play alone i play offline. The problem with mmo's is that when you go online to play with people is that everyone has its own quest raid etc etc etc. And unless you got the same once(or close to the same once's) you end up soloing almost 90% of the game simply because you and whoever you want to group with dont have common set of goals(it is why we have flashpoints to begin with.) Add to that that some people got more time on there hands then others and even close friends get a wide difference in how far they are with questing. And that is why i have a love hate relationship with mmo's. It can be a great game to play with people. It is just being unable to finding people to play with that pisses me off. Especialy since the most fun part of questing is doing it with a group. I needed that off my chest. I hope you all enjoy swtor and that it will survive ea games evental death.

It is getting pretty tiresome to see: Swtor has to proform maintenance between x time till y time every freaking day. For the last week. Can anyone explain to me what this is neccery?

Here is something that bothers me a bit. Not alot but still enought to want some answers. When i play jedi consular i always go shadow because sage is just irirtating to play(for me)(too much fighting too little killing power) yet on my sith inqisator i dislike the assasin and prefeer the socceror(who kills effecently and makes it fun) The thing is these classes are suppos to be similer so how is it possibol that i dislike sage but love socceror/like shadow but dislike assasin? It isnt logical.

Driod as playebol charaters with own class story. Spaceship to spaceship pvp. Personal capital ship. The ability to sit on chairs use the /sleep command to lay down and sleep etc(fix rp damm you) More companions. More choice's. Beter flashpoints. Bioware splitting from eagames.

True statis field requirs enormis concetration. And i geus god modding doesnt make it a victory but a lazy mans way out. About your undead he if is held togather by magic there is a very exploitable weakness called disspell. No magic means no you:D Also if it works like i think it works undead are corpses where the soul has bin replace by necromancer energie so blocking/removing the would kill you...again.

An interesting and well informing guide just one question: Why shoudnt i use god modding in rp battle's? I mean i like winning. EDIT: I mean if we follow your guide(and i mean no disrespect) It would probley go something like this. Bounty hunter attacks a jedi consular with rockets(death from above skill) jedi consular uses the force to send the rockets back, the bounty hunter drops from the sky causes the missle's to miss as he fire's his double guns at the jedi consular the jedi consular blocks with his lightsaber then uses the force to push the bounty hunter who then jumps aside and the jedi the force pushes the bounty hunter into the ground but not befor the jedi bounty hunter sends a missle to the jedi...... We can go on like this forever and in the end the loser is the one who give up out of boredom. While is i use god mode: bounty hunter uses death from above the jedi sage sheilds himself and focus the force into overheating the fual inside the bounty hunters jet pack causing it to exloded as the bounty hunter fall to the ground the jedi sage traps him inside a force stasis field ready for transport. Game set and match:D

If you coud deside how the swtor story would end? How would you end it? To clairfy when i said end i mean to the point your enemies are broken dead enslaved or in any way unable to counter attack you for atleast a 1000 years. Me: Ravan would fight and kill the emperor(with player assastance for gaming reson)Revan dies of his wounds short after embracing a well earned rest. Without the emperor the sith lose all (remaining)sense of unity and backstabbing is kicked into high gear. Letting the sith butcher eatchother the jedi clean up and the survivors either join the republic or die fighting. And after 200+ years of hunting sith without relent we get to the next part in the eu.

I am far more interested in when the empire is going to fall and how there going to kill the emperor for good....I know jedi arent suppos to hate but i really want to put my hands across his trought and see his life run away from him. Hk-47 is the reason i love to have driod allies. A pity you cant play as a droid in swtor. Statment: There is a 97 chance he is asking for help. master. There is also a 3% chance he is threating you and need to be blasted on sight. But that could be just wishfull thinking.

I would like to talk about the least respect part of force users(jedi and sith) There cunning. I read time after time again vadar was the strongest no sidous was no luke was no yoda etc etc etc. All arugmants are about how strong they where in the force..... While here is a little supirse for you: The force doesnt make you a god!!!!! darth sidous use manipulation to wipe out the jedi, Luke skywalker turn vadar while the rebel FLEET not skywalker(both of them) blew up the death star. Count douku convince many to turn agains the republic, Qui-gon-gin trick waldo into giving him annikan and the parts he need he didnt threaten him with a lightsaber(like sith would) So lets talk about the thing that jedi and sith have over eatchother. There mentality. Discuss who is the smarter(not stronger) of the 2 culture's.
