  1. Yes, pm on this account. I play Immortal.
  2. I'm on ToFN as well and am main Jugg. Have been so since beta so PM me your in-game name and if you want I'll drop you a few tips. I'm always happy to help pvpers get better if I can.
  3. I'm sorry guys/Devs but, instead of having/giving us another warzone based on objectives that 90% of players don't even know and care about, wouldn't it be nicer to see some good open pvp content back? Maybe this time a real and permanent content? Ranked are now based on Arenas, most of pug WZs are just a bunch of players slaying each other so why don't just give us a quest whose goal is only to kill? Give us a daily/weekly pvp quest with the goal of killing X number of level 60 players on one planet chosen randomly every day/week. A quest giving only pvp content (to avoid strictly pve players and to help with lag). Planets are way too big? Right! Go more specific on the location where players are supposed to slaughter each others There! Easy and quick new "content" added. THEN, you can give us another bugged, full of undesired and unwanted objectives warzone
  4. BW, I am a pvp player, and I mean I only play pvp-wise, and I see 4-5 quitters PER TEAM, PER MATCH. Every single damn match is ruined by people who don't even wait one damn minute to see how the match could go; at the very first, small, possible sign of loosing they just leave the warzone! Sometimes even BEFORE the match starts only because some members have low health, ergo probably low gear! And, very often I see THEM to be the very best players who are around. This is unfair, ridiculous and absolutely not good for this side of the game for many reasons which I don't have to write as you do know. There is NO reason not to add a "punishment" for those who click the "leave warzone" button. You added it for flashpoints, why not for pvp??? This is the first game I play without such option. I also kindly ask to all serious pvpers to please please say something and/or agree here. Thanks!
  5. Oh well.. it was not indeed a great change, I was just hoping to see anything new pvp wise I guess Thanks guys.
  6. I think I may have missed something as I recall devs wrote about cooldowns of stunbreaker abilities to reset on death in WZs to be applied in 2.2... Are they still going to do it? If so, when exactly?
  7. Very nice ideas! And indeed relatively simple. As far as I understand they are not going to introduce any news on PvP-wise (except the stun break ability matter) untill September or so; if this is the case it's reaaally sad..
  8. Oh I see... I wrote a ticket that I have eventually updated and no response so far. Thus, I'm starting to really really believe BW do not care at all about pvp ç_ç just sad. Thanks.
  9. Dear BW and Community, I can't buy the Conqueror War Leader's Shield as it seems my partisan one is not seen. I have the correct ammount of ranked comms and my partisan shield in my inventory and yet I can't buy it. Passing the mouse over the Conqueror (from the vendor), I see "undefined" written in yellow instead of the usual requirement. Is this a bug? Does anybody else fall into this?! Thanks for any help.
  10. Guys, I've been reading for a while several different thoughts about defensive stats for a tnak in pvp. Some say absorb is not important, other say it is; same thing for defense and/or shield.. What's the real deal? Is there any real math calculation to prove one or another? Is it worth to fully gear as a tank? Does it work to be full built tank and geared as dps? Perhaps with a minimun increase of defensive stats? Thanks all for your sharings.
  11. Totally agree although I am more disappointed by the whole game. I do like it as I love SW, but there are holes everywhere. Playing it to pass time as well. So sad :S
  12. I see your points but I don't think there would be such abuse if the increment of commendations would be up to 5 or 7, if you don't like 10. We are still talking about a very low ammount but it wouldn't be so ridiculous as of now. However, a small increse in commendation could actually encourage players to play better in WZ..
  13. I see.. but I think I sometimes get the flash bombs that stun me even if I have the resolve bar :S
  14. Am I wrong or voting a player in Warzones gives like 1, I mean ONE, additional commendation and maybe 2-3 valor? If so, wouldn't it better ti give more comms? Something like 10 and more valor to encourage people to play better?
  15. I keep getting stunned even if my resolve bar just hit its top! Is it normal? Am I misunderstanding how does it work?! Anybody else having his resolve bar not working as it should be? Thanks.
  16. Well yes, in a way it should be but, as you say, it is slowed for many reasons. Mine was actually a suggestion/discussion to try and solve the balance between experienced players with non experienced. Also, to give a more logical sense to normal Wzs
  17. Dear BW and PvP Community, Here are a few thoughts to improve PvP, or at least one aspect ^_^. I believe pvp in SW:TOR is pretty much for casual players now. One could just look at his pvp window and see we are still in "pre-season 1" and it has been so for a year, I think. Also, the fact that BW implemented its crapy bolster system, which will hopefully fixed in game update 2.0.1 as it has been stated, seems to prove there is a certain idea that pvp has to be for everyone and it has to be of "easy-quickie-access" too I believe the real problem in terms of balance in pvp, a part from classes problems/differences that there might be, is to have experienced good pvpers mixed with low experienced and bad ones. This creates frustration and it is just one big pool of any kind of players. Those who follow tactics to win, and those who just don't. To define good and bad, we could simply say a good player is a high valored one and especially aiming to play a WZ for its goals (and therefore to win it), instead of just smashing and waving its saber around to the mere purpose of killing. Not referring to any expertise or gear, just time of playing and in-WZ behave. So, what to do? Why not simply create two different "leagues" (A/B, Pro/Basic, Cool/Noob whatever) and therefore add a filter in PvP. A system based first on a player valor rank, and second to its gear rating (the bolster system). I believe this would create instances similar to the ranked ones, with players who wants to play WZs to win them the right way and can do it due to their experience and will to win them and thanks to their gear (I hardly see a high valored player having a poor gear and even if, here it comes the bolster). To play after tactics and especially they could be instances with 8 players ops, which we can see now only as ranked matches. The "basic league" would be with players still levelling or willing to play pvp casually and they would find similar players. Therefore, ideally both leagues would have balance because of their players being similar in their will and gear. This would also create a sort of personal escalation of a player who aims to become a "Pro pvper" and therefore act, ask, do whatever is necessary and correct to do to become a good pvper! Now, what happens when a player reach the defined valor rank (could be 50-60?) to pass over the next league? He chooses. A player is given the choice of decide whether to go on with his pvp story and thus valor and pass to the (supposedly) harder league of just stay at his point to be able to still play WZ but with chilly players, not willing and interested to play ranked. As per current game status, I don't recall any particular use for valor rank except for the ranked comms, and such minimum requirement is valor 40. This system/filter would probably lead to many other features but hopefully will allow 8 players organized in ops to do normal WZ, non organized groups but still with pro pvpers and probably it would ease this frustration to find a solution for those casual pvpers. What do you think? In the hope of having good feedback, farewell!

  19. You mentioned some really nice ideas and I do hope BW PvP staff can take it under consideration. The idea of having Legacy valor rank is definatelly good and right. They should do it. And, by doing this, not only a player could be recognized no matter what level of a character but they could create separations between beginners and pro based on valor rank! This would probably solve the bolster and balance "jebedeez"! They should also find a damn solutions for quitters but more than everything else they should think about QoL in PvP and actually DO something FOR PvP in this game. I just can't understand how PvP can be one year old now.
  20. Hello, Are you going to also allow sex and name change? I didn't see it mentioned in the update. Thanks.
  21. Hi, Thanks for replying. Well, that would be definatelly more interesing and exiting. However, I wouldn't trash away ImpVsImp or RepVsRep. Afterall this is what we usually have when playing WZs, many matches with the same faction. But I'm open to everything. We however need to first see interest. Com'on guys!
