    This is an interesting post in the sea of rage, and one that makes me truly fear for the future of the game, unlike any decision before, this affects the semi casual players like yourself, and my missus and a few friends of mine.

    They enjoyed the clear upgrade path of working out how many weeks till they get that nice chest piece they were after and set about doing the different activities to achieve that.

    Now, its like looking into a black hole, not knowing if it will ever come, and its not a journey they were willing to partake in. They have left, no posts here about it, no goodbyes, just gone. :(

     

    I'm sorry to hear that lad.... :( I too lost all my boys I used to run with in this game all be it this was long ago a few new ones I've made have left today after the live stream.....

     

    Just remember if you are to keep playing everything you do now should be in honor of those boys.

    Dev Arrogance Vs Player Feedback

    As someone who had been around since beta I am having a real hard time staying positive with 5.0 out. Don't get me wrong I have really enjoyed the game and all the content but the content now is old content that has been revised or new content that only takes 10-15 min to beat. Here are some questions I have.

    There have been no new operations in what 2 years?

    When was the last map added to Galactic Starfighter?

    When was the last daily area added to the game?

    Remember the Legacy System? When and what was the last thing added to that?

    Is there any plan for 8 -16 player content?

    This CXP system why does it seem to focus on getting people to only PVP over everything else? Like it is 2 -3 times faster to just PVP for CXP then anything else.

    Is Reputation ever going to be important or come back?

    Are we going to get any new Flashpoints? And not just Cookie Cutter flashpoint like the Star Fortresses which are just 1 Flashpoint that you need to repeat 6 times for a different companion which really has no impact on the story.

    Are we ever getting our companions back?

    Are you guys doing anything new with PVP? like 16v16 reg or 8v8 ranked?

    Other then 4 Person content are you guys going to add anything for larger or smaller groups?

    These are just a few questions I have. I hope you read this Devs and I do hope for the best with this game but as of right now I have no reason to play my alts, no reason to make new ones, all I can do is grind content that has been around for years and slowly watch my friends in my guild 1 after another get fed up and leave.

    Please do something to reinvigorate this game, I want it to succeed and I want to play for another 5 years but right now i am finding it hard to keep going.

     

    Play for your boys if you got any left in game.

    This post right here. We all feel like 'Losers' in this game for what this horrid team has done. In one content update they have ruined what community the rest of us spent years building.

     

    I feel you...

     

    I've been somewhat of a toxic turd the last couple days as I was back during the lead up to 2.4 when bio was removing 8v8 rateds.

     

    at the end of the day we cant change the system if you like it or not that no longer matters what matters is if you still got boys left in the game enjoy them while you got em.

     

    Most of us have all lost friends and or guild or better yet a guilds worth of friends to this game. I'm demoralized and I'm done being a crappy toxic ape.

     

    Just let it all go lads if you enjoy the new system play it and have fun while you can...

     

    If you hate it and got boys still left in the game spend as much time with them as you can.

     

    Let's just stop the in community fighting. People say lifes to short well.. This games life is gonna be too short I think.

    Go ahead. Cancel. There will never be another Star wars game like this again. Story, Comps, Romances, Choices that matter; Not even Emperor WoW has been able to deliver this level of depth in all its years. If the game should shut down, you'll all regret leaving one day just like they regretted leaving swg when it shut down.

     

    lol most of it is three to five year old content.. we've seen it..

     

    Let it go lad go play the game and enjoy it while its still around have fun.

     

     

    There really is no point in bickering anymore regardless of what side your on in this.

    I don't speak for everyone, but my own observations. But I'm betting I'm on the side of the majority based on the percentage of posts and members of people's guilds who are against the current problems vs those who see none, like yourself.. I'm sorry if you are not part of that majority. I obviously don't speak for or represent your point of view.

     

    So yes, I have considered it,

     

    You do a fine job of reppin all us boys (even if your not one....) who lost lads to this games failure to function as a proper MMO should...

     

    I'm demoralized.. But wouldn't be the first time this games demoralized me and maybe a high percentage of their own player base...

     

    anyway the bosten major is on for anyone who likes dota 2 or moba's great games so far....

    They clearly don't understand the MMO market...thankfully, I'm confident this games replacement is nearing completion.

    Really wonder if there will even be another star wars based MMO with MMO's themselves seeming to be trending out...

    Well that's that I guess...

     

    Back to dead and or dying servers in 2 months nose dive mode engaged.

     

    Oh well no boys to run 5 year old content with no point...

     

    Time to go back to camping on fleet people watching and just giving free **** away to new players from the old fort knox of a guild bank my guilds old crafters filed up.

    lol there are some aussies and like new zealand people and even a few more russians in my guild on imp side. some really like to pvp. i'm more of a raider :p though ofc i do pvp for cxp like everyone else lol. not that i'm particularly good at it. tho ofc better than those ******* taht will get the ball passed to them and then just stand still and when told to run or passs say " i don't want to" . like *** lol

     

    Russians.. man you got Russians! Damn Russians make the best boys they always got your back and always ready to cyka the CRAP out of some noobs :cool:

     

    :p on jc most of the time people don't even pick up the ball in huttball lol it's as if they don't even know it's there and go full ape mode and dps for 12 minutes... so you got us beat there :p

    Any feedback on Uprisings?

    Does anyone else feel like they just recycled old content to make the uprisings? The maps look like they they copy and pasted parts of other maps throughout the game. The one map feels a lot like hammer station, another feels like part of the false emperor flashpoint.

    Then there's the mechanics of the fights. They feel like they were recycled from previous boss fights in the game as well.

     

    Pretty much ya.. from false emperor to ord mantell and smuggler story line zone (port nowhere) it's all just reused 4 or 5 year old content.. speaks volumes about the budget/willingness of the devs and the current nose dive the games in lol

    i main harbringer. but if i find someone to play with on RE i could go there now and then too. also have toons on ebon hawk lol

     

    I've been thinking about moving a toon or two to harb since late night PvP queues are slow as all hell on jc not sure about ping (I'm east cost us) so if you can manage to main there I'm sure the ping would be great for me..

    I think one thing we all can agree on for the most part is we all share a passion for the game (different aspects of the game) we all wanted this game to be better than what it turned out.

     

    Some people get fired up about it and blow up in a toxic mushroom cloud (like me at times) some people keep there cool w/e.. yes some people post just to be trolls but for the most part I'd guess most of us that post here share that passion about wanting this game to be all it could have been.

    now now assumptions aren't our best friends =) we get very annoyed with lack of communication (which is very understandable) and so some of us start posting much toxic crap to make ourselves feel better, because clearly it's NOT gonna make them feel worse anyway =) :eek::eek::eek:

    but hei, once upon a blue moon they just might surprise us. i for one am tentatively curious about what the are gonna say during the stream today =):D:D:D

    lmao that would be epic.. Depressing as hell yes... however what a fitting send off that would be to honor those toons that paid the ultimate price do to RNG :(

    things went ape **** crazy this past week. Guess we'll see in 2 months all i know is i was more than sure this game at worst would make it to one/two more xpacs now i'm not even sure about that..

    This is so sad. Thank you for sharing the stories of your characters when you delete them, they're beautiful.

     

    I'm at a place now where I only play my Sorcerer, because all I care to do is decorate my Kaas and Tatooine Strongholds and play the occasional Operation. I remember two years ago, I enjoyed this game so much that I finished all of the class stories and done the Inquisitor story four times (I love it). Now the game is way too easy and it's just not enjoyable to do anything that doesn't require an Operations group (at least that's kind of challenging and rewarding). I long for the moments when I needed help to do something on a planet, and in turn helping others when my level increased.

     

    Sigh. This is reminding me of Star Wars Galaxies. However I eventually accepted and enjoyed the New Game Experience, but so many others left the game. Sadly I cannot say that I will accept Knights of the Eternal Empire/game update 5.0.

     

    Edit: You should take a front-facing screenshot of your character before they become one with the Force, and then share them with us. :)

     

    man a collage of all his toons from screen shots would be dope!
